Really disappointing experience. When we returned the car they took it down the back and told us to go to the office. Then we're told the car is "dusty" and a $25 cleaning fee applies.
Look down the back and the other employee already had the car soaped up and no evidence of dust is there.
Oh, and they take a $400 deposit and refund the difference so they can just hold that money until you agree.
It felt really sleazy and like they had rehearsed this particular move a few times. If you're renting from them then make them declare the car is returned in good condition before they are allowed to move it away or start cleaning it.
Just really poor behaviour from them and we're quite disappointed. read more
