About two days into the work, things broke down. Each day, someone different would come to the house, not knowing where the last person finished or the work that needed to be completed. They hit some bad weather and decided to take down our shutters and work on them at their location. They damaged some of the shutters beyond repair, told us they would replace them, and then sent someone to try to repair them (even though they said they would replace them). Six weeks into the project, the work is not complete. There is clearly miscommunication at the office since workers who show up are under the impression they are there for something other than what we were told by the estimator. In addition to bad communication and follow up, they left equipment on our lawn that killed some of the grass, failed to touch up and remove mold before painting as promised, piled stuff in my garage making it hard to park, and on top of it have been sending bills as if the work is even close to being completed. While no one has been rude, it is clear that they've either taken on too much work this summer, or need someone to manage the business better. Unless they can resolve their organizational issues, I would stay away from this company. This is the most frustrating experience I've had with a company in my 16 years living in the Lehigh Valley. Update: Two weeks later and the job is still not complete. The manager Bill spoke with my wife and promised the work would be done. We were told that we would get a call before anyone else showed up to finish the work. While at work, my son called and said guys showed up and were working. By the time I got home, they were gone. Two broken shutters were replaced, but other work was not completed. No call or follow up. This is like a clown show and I have downgraded to one star. I'll post again when the work gets done, but at this point, I would recommend avoiding this contractor. They are unorganized and workers show up not even knowing what to do. This is a poorly managed business.

The staircase is long and tall and had a lot of old wallpaper that had to be removed. Mike came over and gave an excellent quote including the time frame to complete the job, arrived on the day promised, and finished all of the work on time and at the price quoted. He had to set up his scaffold/ladder to be able to reach the high places which he did perfectly. Mike removed all of the old wallpaper, spackled and sanded the rough areas to ensure smoothness while making sure to minimize the spackle dust, then painted the whole thing. He was very careful to tape up all of the woodworking, and dldn't leave any paint spots behind. Mike completed the job on time and and as promised, and it looks great! I highly recommend Mike for your painting needs.

I now finally have a ceiling light in 2 bedrooms that both have fans on them. First time in 35 years of living here. Great job. I needed to replace my fence. It's was a mess and it was long overdue. LV Fence has some good…read moreonline reviews and a friend of a friend of a friend said that they used them a few years ago so I figured why not? I called the office, left a message and got a call back a few hours later. We set up a date about two weeks later for the owner to come out and give me an estimate. Day of he comes out and from the time he parked the truck until the time he got back in it was maybe ten minutes. Asked two or three questions and said it was all he needed and that the quote would come via email within the next few days. About a week later the email and the same estimate shows up in the mail the same day. The estimate is insanely high. Closer to 20K than it is to 10K for 160-ish linear feet of 6ft basic white vinyl privacy fencing and 2 gates. I didn't ask for anything specialized, custom, top of the line or exotic. Only bare basics. WTH. After a few days I called the office and left a message about what the price would be if we removed the old fence ourselves and never got a response which is what I assumed would happen. I'll take their silence to mean...??...the job is too small and they don't want to deal with it since there isn't enough money involved so let's give an unrealistically high quote that checks the box that a quote was given even if I would have to be an idiot to agree to it? Again, I don't know. They never returned my call or my follow up email so I'll take their silence to mean that it's time to move on, and I did, to another company who did a fantastic job for less than 10K. I get it. It's a crazy world we live in right now with supply chain issues, soaring prices and companies having lots of ongoing staffing issues which is why my rating isn't lower. But at the end of the day, there are times when you just get a vibe or feeling that the person/company you're dealing with isn't interested and that's exactly what I think happened here.

Additionally, we contracted them to complete our flooring job from a distance as we are currently residing in Texas while they worked on our home in PA. This can normally create hiccups in the process with communication but with Jim at the helm, we didn't miss a bear. He made sure to explain anything we were unsure of and responded to my many emails to ensure we were on the same page throughout the entire process. We trusted him with over 4,000 sq. Ft of flooring and three staircases and we are glad we did. we will use them again in the future to do our basement for sure. I will add photos soon.
