You see, in a fraction of a second on someone's Youtube video about Farmington, I had spotted a doll cabinet... and within a 1930s Jaymar "Orphan Annie and Sandy" duo... And if anyone knows anything about me... it's that I'm an Annie fanatic... and my collection of vintage Annie dolls is expansive... but was missing this particular Jaymar duo... The owner of What the Junk, the lovely, friendly, immensely knowledgable June, offered her support as soon as I walked in... but I'm superstitious a little-- I have to "spot my find" by myself... ha! Once spotted, we had an extraordinary discussion, and it was very clear that June is a true doll collector-- and get this... she can also restring dolls as well! (Oh, if only she lived closer to me!) I suspect that is just ONE of her talents, she radiates wisdom and respect for history and treasures! Her store is an artful, eclectic delight of vintage collectibles, and it oozes with love from her big heart and delightful smile. Farmington is LUCKY to have a gem such as this-- in both store and in June! P.S. FULL DISCLOSURE: I was in town as my dog was playing "Sandy" in the local production of Annie... after having such a good time talking to June, I invited her and her lovely husband as my comp tickets to the show-- and I'm soo glad they came-- what a thrill! I truly hope that we can keep in touch and that they will look me up one day if they come out to Vegas!

Management gave a delivery date so all was good. Customer service called us last minute and failed to follow their commitment in delivering our rented Items that had already been Paid for Two months in advance. As you would expect we were highly disappointed with the poor customer care and their lack of due diligence. Apparently customer service only just called our references at the last moment. They were unable to contact one. We were able to provide an additional reference and they still would not deliver our rentals on the day agreed upon. When requesting to speak to the manager, the branch manager answered. We did not see eye to eye and he decided to hang up on me and refuse to answer any of my questions. On the third call to his store, he said he would only speak to my wife because I was heated and cursed. (This is the only time I cursed at him, and that was after he hung up on me more than once) My wife asked why he wouldn't speak to me and his answer was not sufficient. Instead, this man decided to be rude to my wife speak down to her and state "We don't need money from people like you". I could only believe he meant Those who do not live in Farmington but live on the reservation. I made a complaint to The Aarons national complaint line. I called two more times to see what is happening and they told me they would contact me. That was about two weeks ago. Do not do business with this coward who can only argue with a nice woman, instead of her husband. I explained to the man I was in a wheelchair and a disabled veteran and that is why my wife went to get the rentals and I was not with her, he still refused to speak to me. Do not do business with this chain because they do not care about the customers. Go to someone else.

I got home only to find the double paned slider had a broken jagged pane missing. I called to inform them it was the wrong slider and I would return it. They said ok. I drove down gave them the door looked around and couldn't find another complete door. They refused to refund me for the door despite not having another complete slider. I said I couldn't find anything else yet they refused to refund me accusing me of buying the broken door knowingly. They were rude and unwilling to refund me. They offered instore credit but they had nothing I could use. I'm in my 70s and I spoke with the owner and he said too bad he couldn't return my money. I've never been treated so poorly and they didn't care I live 21/2 hours away. Most of the inventory is in bad shape and they want top dollar. I pleaded with them to return my money but they insisted in store credit only. They knowly sold a broken door to an elderly man who drove five hours round trip and to returned it and refused to make it right. i Would be very Leary of their underhanded business practices. Doc
