We booked online prior to our Andalucía trip that included many cities including Seville, Malaga,Ronda,Granada and Granada in early April. The Medium Distance trains are sleek looking, clean and relatively quiet. The Seville to Malaga train departed Estacion San Justa, a clean modern station right on time. It made many stops along the way. Then half way to Malaga the conductor announced in Spanish (he held up iPad with English translation) that due to technical issue we had to switch trains in Osana. Turned out as soon we exited they used the same train to take another group of passengers back to Seville while we scrambled with our luggage crossing the track to the south bound platform and board another train. That was puzzling. The Malaga Maria Zambrano station was even more impressive. We took s day trip train to Ronda. Apparently only 1 daily round trip. 1000-1600. We finished our sightseeing in much less time but ended sitting the Ronda station cafeteria. We will try renfe again in the future. read more
