Pleasantly surprised by this cute little lounge upstairs for customers who purchased Preferente class tickets. (What happens when they sell out of turista class tickets and you need to catch a flight in Madrid)
Small selection of snacks (including 2 gluten free which I thought was very thoughtful, along with potato chips), a coffee machine, and a fridge full of cold beverages (great to grab your water for the train ride ahead).
There's a few sofas, a tiny "quiet section", and no bathrooms. Not bad if you need your morning coffee before the train and a small snack - and definitely an unexpected surprise I appreciate from having to pay more for my ticket - I'll gripe less now. read more
