I purchased a six foot Norway spruce over the phone, and everyone at North Branch was wonderful. I…read moretold them the date I would pick up the tree, and I received a reminder call three days before I was to pick up. Thirty minutes out I called to let them know I was on my way. The nursery has a large wholesale base and is huge. Lots of nursery landscapers were working the greenhouses and tree lots. The tree farm is all around. At the counter Josh had the paperwork. A forklift put the tree in the bed of my pick up. Josh secured it with the bungee cords I brought, and gave me paper instructions on watering and staking the tree. The 45-minute drive was worth it. Located just east of Bowling Green on a short five minute drive from I-75, the place is a snap to get to. It is located next to a residential property but you can't miss it. Full disclosure...I have only been here for strawberries (when you get a quart they throw another handful on top). My mother swears by their flowers though (and she is not easy to please when it comes to greenhouse quality). When she lived in Ohio this was her go to stop. She drove several hours this year from Indy JUST for flowers (I told her she can find flowers in the Indy area but she didn't care). The variety is exceptional here. The greenhouses all have concrete walks and the watering is all automated. Quite the first class operation and well worth the drive.
