Perhaps the worst company I have ever worked for. Jeremy Parker is the worst manager I have ever worked for and I feel sorry if you have to work for him. The first thing that caught me off guard was they (he) openly made fun of and talked about people who were fired in front of everyone in sales. Sure you can make money at this job, but it's the worst and weirdest environment i have ever seen. During training they would not let a person get up and use the bathroom. This was a grown man that was yelled at to "sit down". That could be an HR infraction. Jeremy is possibly the worst manager I have ever experienced in my career and I worked for a Fortune 5 company. The other managers don't care about you. It is a very cult like culture. Again you can make money, but this is possibly the most toxic place I have ever seen. I would stay away. read more

We had our windows installed July 31 - August 2nd. It was just last week when we finally had all remaining issues addressed just last week. I love the windows, they look awesome, but the miscommunication and time it takes to get issues resolved is ridiculous. I have had friends and family say how great the windows look and wanted to know if I would recommend the company and I cannot. It all started with installers who had no idea how to install a screen door...installed upside down and backwards. It took 3 different teams after that to determine what was the issue. The original installers did not have all the equipment they needed. The who came to fix the screen door and install a 2nd screen door did figure out the what was going on with the one screen door, but noticed the 2nd was the wrong size. With the 5th team we finally got both screen doors installed, but still not 100%. I communicated with the shop about a part I had for the screen door that needed to be installed, the automatic door closing part. The 6th time the individual came with the missing part but no tools to install the door closure part and had to come back a 2nd time. A very frustrating experience. All starting with being told the install crew was internal. It was only when I was asked to do a survey that I realized they were sub-contractors and needed a good survey to continue working for Andersen. read more

Had them come out for estimated had estimated of $24,000.00 replace 2 doors and one window. I turn them down and had it done for $1,800.00 by taking the time to find a company that was wanting work at a reasonable profit. read more

We heard about renewal by anderson when we went to our local state fair, based on what they were saying and the discount they were giving, we wanted to try them out. So they came to our house. Our windows were at least 25 years old, so yeah, definitely needed a upgrade! We got the basics, nothing fancy, no fancy colors, the only updated item was the invisible screens, we liked them! Our sales guy gave us a big song and dance about how this will help immensely with our heat and electric bill at least $100 per month, it will also decrease the dust in our house almost completely, and in the carpets too. Even though the price, to me, was outrageous, that was another thing, he said the rebates and tax write off would help out alot as well. So we did it, THE BIGGEST WASTE OF MONEY EVER!!!!!!!! no change on anything I listed, in my state, only $200 credit on taxes, even though we spent $15,000 but what the salesmen left out, is there is a cap on it, you can only write off a limit no matter how much you spent!!! And on my rebate, $175.00 from my electric company!! So I highly highly highly recommend NOT using them, do your work on what exactly you will save. If you have a newer home and don't have the curse of dealing with dust already and want a fancy window, go for it! I will say their install team, amazing! Nice, quick, and the 1 gentleman I talked with when one of the windows wasn't working, got it fixed in no time! Basically, extremely overpriced, the salesman are glorified car salesmen and if you have a older house, go somewhere cheaper. They pulled the crap with me, having these windows would look great on our listing info when we went to sell our home and that people look for that quality, well I call your BS because we are selling and NO ONE CARED!!! You can't try and get your money back, then you'll end up listing way over market, then people can't get a loan that high to cover it!! When you list a house, they just want to make sure there's windows, they don't care the brand, as long as they are installed correctly. Had an man come to my home for new windows and he gone above & beyond of what we expected. He was so thorough explaining everything. His name was Burke and we had other companies come by for estimates and I felt like all they cared about was making a sale. I highly recommend this company for windows and if you want a person who cares about your best interest ask for Burke. They are more pricey than vinyl windows but the difference is unbelievable, especially with harsh weather and heat. I definitely think it's well worth it. I can see the difference immediately from other companies that came and gave us estimates, yes less but You do not want to skimp on windows, & you get what you pay for. After putting up with stifling heat in the main part of our house for many years, we decided to look into replacement windows for the "builders-grade" windows that came with the house. A Sales Rep came to our house and gave us a lot to think about and made a good pitch for us to go with RBA. The wife and I discussed it over and decided to go ahead. We placed our order and soon an install date was set. The installers (Bobby McCurdy) were fast and knowledgeable. They were in, cleaned up, and out within 4 hours of starting the replacement of my five windows. The windows look great and the living room already feels cooler in the afternoons! read more

Remember their 3 DAY Cancelation policy!!! We were promised an installation date of June 18, 2021 but our point of contact with the Company quit before then. Neither the Salesman nor the Company contacted us until after I called multiple times after the first week of July. We're loc in the contract and would have to pay several thousand dollars to not receive the door at this point. I'll just say that too much commission is built into the price and obviously all they care about is money. The Salesman and I discussed business and he bragged about being able to make up to $25,000.00 ea month. Erica in Finance admitted she doesn't work in Finance! The Sales Manager let me believe that he was the General Manager for most of the phone call that I was told was necessary to cancel my door and refund the payments, instead he attempted closing the sale 5 times and then said that he didn't believe me about his people saying that I could get a refund. I was told that the door couldn't fit in a different house and would have to be destroyed! So remember that you're only important for the first 3 days, after that you're definitely locked into the contract with no way out. Absolutely the worst . Salesman misled us in the purchase. Time-frame of 3-5 months was a joke. Installation was poor. The install supervisor didnt bother to come check their work but called and asked for me to send photos of Installation problems. Later he said he would call me back in an hour. A week later I called him. His response was "oh the repair crew didn't call?" Door was near impossible to lock. My wife had to choose leaving it unlocked when I was away or hope there wasn't a fire because she couldn't unlock it. Door was sold without a keyed lock and took 2 months to get one. When I confronted the Salesman Eric about no lock he became belligerent. I asked for his supervisor and he just said he would let his boss know and i may hear from them. So far noth. 1st Installation cracked brick around the entryway and the threshold was not properly measured causing the door to be removed and reinstalled. Bob the brick mason, Alex who repaired and installed the lock on the door and Jacob the production supervisor were apologetic and did attempt to appease the fiasco but I wouldn't recommend this company to an enemy much less a friend. We just had new windows put into our west side of the house. Our installers, James B and Scott, were amazing and very friendly. They worked in 30 degree temps but were able to keep the opening to my house closed majority of the time. Their workmanship is very professonal. The windows look great and we have noticed a difference in temperature already. The company overall is on tope their game. We had a salesman, then a secondary person come out, measure, and verify order. Then the installers came in. After they finished they made sure you know how to work the windows. My wife met Renewal by Andersen at a craft show. We had an issue with very little positive/negative air flow in our Master Bedroom due to a lack of open windows. We consulted with RBA on ways to update our existing windows to improve the airflow. We had a wonderful initial consultation with our salesman, Steven Nielsen, and ended up purchasing two replacement windows for our master bedroom and bath. Steven was very knowledgeable, personable, and easy to work with. He had plenty of options and ideas for how we could improve airflow in our bedroom. He took his time to show us what products RBA had to offer, and explained what differentiated their products from competitors. He was also very good about giving my wife and I plenty of time and space to discuss the windows before deciding to make the purchase. Steven also was quick to follow up with us after the installation to ensure that we were totally satisfied and happy with our new windows! Our windows were built and ready for installation in less than a month! We were very please with the fact that Andersen was able to get our new windows ready and installed prior to the Christmas season! Our installation went off without any issues, and the new windows look great! Installation took most of the day, but our installer, David Sutton, was very organized, clean, and conscientious of how his installation was affecting the rest of the house. It was very cold during the day our windows were installed, and David did a great job of cutting off the flow of cold air to the rest of the house while he worked. He even reinstalled the blinds that had to be moved to install one of the windows! I recently bought 3 windows from this company at almost 2,000 a window the installation in my tiled bathroom was a mess they damaged the tile and an antique cabinet which when the manager saw the pics said it looked like particle board (the cabinet is over 75 years old) they replaced the broken tiles with the wrong color grout (and said it was the best they could do) they also left all the old grout and filth shoved under the tub, but the worst was outside, they did not wrap the outside frames so the widows looked awful, at which point a manager said they needed to wrap them, the wrapping looked like dented aluminum foil, the manager said they needed to rewrap the next time not any better a district manager said he would send a different team to rewrap, I said enough, the job and results should be reflected in the price of the windows as this was not what I was sold or promised, the manager laughed and said he could do nothing about that to which I asked to be contacted by someone who could. that was 3 weeks ago and all they have done is take my money. The whole experience has been unpleasant and disappointing, the window frames are also much wider than my other windows diminishing the view of my garden. I am very unhappy with the company and their windows, and especially their satisfaction guarantee. read more

We recently had 11 windows installed by Anderson. Our home is almost 35 years old, and I was concerned about 3 odd size windows in the front of our home. Anderson fit them perfectly, as they did with all the windows installed. John Owen was our installer. He and his crew did a great job. Covered the surrounding area inside and cleaned everything up each day when they were through. We have wooden windowsills that were replaced. John and his crew cut the windowsills and trim to fit. Joey Hope came the day after our windows were completely installed to stain the windowsills and install them. He did several samples for me to pick from and choose the color I was happy with before he stained and installed them. He did a great job! I really love my windows!! They look great, easy cleaning and with the weather still getting very cold we can tell a BIG diference in the temperature in our home! Thank you Anderson for a job well done! read more

I recently purchased windows from this company. The windows are fabulous - pretty, functional, and high quality. Every facet of the company's customer service was excellent. The salesman was on time and informative. The window measurer was on time, got all the windows measured in about 30 minutes. About 2 weeks later, as was promised, I got a call with an installation date. Installers were on time and went to work immediately. And, as promised, there was absolutely no mess to clean when they left. It was as if no one had been there....except for the new windows. I have high expectations for these windows, and am looking forward to seeing a reduction in utility bills. And they have dramatically improved the look of the house. I really don't know where to begin with thus review. My overall response to my experience with RBA is unbelievable...and not in a good way. My initial install was on Augusr 3rd. I replaced 2 large picture windows, I small bedroom window and a sliding glass door. The first phase went well. Other than my sliding glass door's new handle/hardware not being sent with the door, one window not being cut to fit my window seal, the bedroom window really not being installed correctly and the wrong type of wood being used for my framing, I had hopes that when they came back out the following week, everything would be fixed. Three weeks later my wood was replaced and my framing around my bedroom window fixed. However my window seal was still on my floor, and my door handle was not installed, oh, and I also realized that my retractable screen for my door had not been installed. The "new" handle was delivered but the screws for my "new" handle were not in the box. Seems like an easy fix, right....well, here we are on Oct 16th, and guess what...I still don't have the correct screws for my handle. They came out today, but yet again had the wrong screws.
