DO NOT use Andersen Renewal of Colorado Springs. Their door-to-door salespeople are very aggressive, which is usually the sign of a bad company. This man in the photo attached to this review canvassed my entire neighborhood, harassing homeowners. I asked him to leave my property several times, and he refused to do so. Under Colorado law, I am entitled to use reasonable force to remove trespassers from my property if they refuse repeated requests to leave. I won't hesitate to resort to this action, if I ever see this man on my doorstep again. I've also spoken my neighbors about taking action against your business license. Please tell your salespeople to leave if asked. I promise you we won't give any more than the legally required warning next time. read more

Consumer Beware: When the sales person gives their presentation, watch for their cell phone to be placed nonchalantly on the table. He is recording everything being said without your knowledge. He even left it there when he when to his vehicle and recorded my private conversation with my husband. I feel violated. read more

Never even used their services so can't tell you how it actually is. However I have a crack in my windshield and my husband must have been looking around for replacement services, because I have gotten multiple calls and texts a day from this company reaching out. At first I assumed it was scam texts and calls, so I ignored them. This morning they called me at 6am, waking me up and ruining my sleep just to say the same thing they've said 10 other times. I finally asked them to stop contacting me, but my goodness. Perhaps choose somewhere that has better business practices and actually leaves people alone when they aren't interested. Calling at 6 in the morning is absolutely insane. Maybe I would have gone with this company for my window replacement, but I sure won't now. I wanted a repairman to adjust my patio door to open easier. Two people I talked to at corporate said they don't repair, only replace. So disappointing. It's a good door and doesn't need replacing. Probably just the rollers need adjusting. We paid $5K for it years ago and I can't imagine what they would charge now for a new one. Very disappointed with this company. They have extremely aggressive sales tactics and are by far the most expensive in their industry which made me very hesitant to use them. I had a home consultation and then got multiple calls everyday from them after the fact even though I was clear that I would not need services for multiple months to follow, at this point I knew I wouldn't use them. Then I got mail from them as well! What made me finally leave a review was the mail they sent to me was addressed to my dead mom. Renewal by Anderson is a company that is a total lie from top to bottom. They advertise their products as being top-of-the-line. They are not! They advertise their installers as being "master installers". The guy who showed up at our house was no master installer for sure, and the two guys he had with them, appeared to be day laborers that he had picked up from the parking lot of Home Depot. The quality of the installation was piss poor with so many problems. We had them back out and they claimed that they would fix all the problems. That was on Friday, today is Tuesday and we called them and they informed us that all the stuff they needed was on order with the factory. The last time that they use that phrase, we had to wait two months for them to show up. They do not give the value that they promised. There is a flyby night rip off company and if you do business with them, you're a damn fool. Finally, they are extremely expensive. $38,000 for four sliding glass doors. I purchased 2 doors a few years ago. Last year I noticed some feltlike strips at the bottom of each screen door had come loose. I started the process on 9/29/21 with Renewal to get these fixed. Over several months I would call to check status since they never made the call to me. I would either get a tentative delivery date or was told the replacement strips were not approved by their QC dept. Finally on 6/8/22 I was told they were going to replace both screen doors since they were unable to get strips that were approved. The Renewal person told me it would take 3-6 weeks to get the replacements. Not hearing anything I again called and was told the tentative date the doors would be in Colorado Springs would be 9/19/22, ALMOST 1 YEAR SINCE I STARTED THIS PROCESS. All this time to fix 2 little strips. No matter what the BS they put in ads about how superior they are to all other companies, the truth is that they actually are worse when standing behind their products. read more

Good grief! I had Renewal by Anderson replace my back patio dokr this past summer. The work qas well done, but it took them.almost 3 weeks to get the lock working correctly. Tody, though, their "marketing geniuses" may have permanently cost them my future business. In the mail was an envelope with NO return address, and inside was a note written on lined yellow paper. Given that I have directly experienced someone being hounded via anony.ous letters (until they committed suicide!) The delivery of this "marketing" campaign created undue and unnecessary anxiety as I opened the letter. This company attempts to start their relationship with their customers with a BOLD FLAT OUT LIE. They'll leave postcards in your mailbox with a handwritten message from "Bob" telling you that he just missed you and asking you to call his office. If you attempt to talk to Bob, you'll quickly find out that he isn't real and you can only talk to the extremely rude "manager" on the other end of the phone. These guys are worse than the car warranty companies! A few years back, we had sales guys walking onto our property, checking out the home, and putting something in the front door. We eventually had to tell them they were trespassing. Then, the fliers began showing up in the mailbox at least twice a month. Oh, and the calls... ugh. We've asked a dozen times asking to be removed from the list. It's like chasing a bouncing ball. They have several offices and if you don't spend the entire day calling each one, you'll receive another harassing flier or call. Our neighbor has them, inherited from a home they purchased from a family member. The window was less than two years old and began leaking (poor installation). Anderson refused to stand by their warranty. Stating, it's non-transferrable. The family member called to complain and they didn't budge. Horrific marketing program and customer service. Andersen was TWICE as much as the Infinity, over three times as much as Window World! They say their windows aren't vinyl. They claim they are strong. Well, most of their competitors carry a piece of broken Andersen window to show customers, it's vinyl with sawdust in it. The Infinity windows are twice the windows at half the price. We had someone come to our door late last year, supposedly for their biggest sale of the year. We agreed to have a salesmen come in and give us an estimate. We reluctantly ordered a replacement patio door, regular price of $11k on sale for just under $9k. Sales process was fine, the product seems high quality, however the install was less than perfect, they sliced our new screen and left a mess. After a couple weeks, we noticed more wrong, the screen rail never secured and coming off and the lock was bent. Communication is difficult and not worth the cost of their product. They simply will not stop phoning and coming to the door no matter how many times we say we're not interested. We've already told them, repeatedly, to remove us from their list. Today's duo knocking on the front door told us that they are UNABLE to remove us from their harassment list while grinning in our faces. They appear to believe that if they just harass us enough we'll go ahead and hand them 30K for windows we don't want replaced.
