We ordered our windows in November- most of them were special order. Finally, in February, they came to install them. One issue they said- a special order window we had purchased for our master bath was cracked so they didn't bring it and had to order a new one. They obviously didn't install it because it was broken. They said it would be a week before it came in, they'd call and schedule a time to install it. No problem. We paid in full for the entire job, including the window we didn't have. The contractor that we paid extra to fix a window sill also said that he would finish that job when he came to install the missing window, which included sanding, texturizing and painting some dry wall. A week goes by, nothing. Another week. And then another week- still no phone call to install the window. I called last week and spoke to Mark who said he would call me back that day about the window. Never called me back. Another week goes by and my husband reaches out. Mark acted like he had no idea what we were talking about and wanted to come to the house to see the cracked window, as if he didn't know and it hadn't been explained a lot that the window had never been installed and no one brought it because they said it was cracked at the warehouse. Now he's saying that they ordered a window for the wrong "Brown" client. At this point, it's definitely my mistake for trusting this company and paying before the job was done because I have zero faith it will actually be finished- from the drywall to the final window installment. We just want our money back for the window we didn't get and the labor we already paid for that they didn't complete. They advertise as military friendly but this is how they treat their military clients. I will not recommend them to anyone. read more

Windows America of Colorado Springs just finished installing two 8-foot sliding glass doors. They are beautiful and the installation team did a fantastic job. The doors exceeded our expectations, they open and close effortlessly and Christy loves the extra safety of the locking pin. We saved up for almost a year to replace a few of our windows. Horrible windows and horrible service! The windows screens were damaged before installation and they never replaced them like the warranty said. Ths windows don't fit and leak a ton of air. We've reached out several times and get no response. Don't waste your hard earned money on them. If I could rate lower than 1 star I would! read more

Brian and Jason installed 8 windows and 1 sliding glass door at my house. They look absolutely beautiful! Such amazing quality and aesthetic appeal. The windows and door have completely transformed my house! And I already can tell that they are keeping the house cooler! I got 4 quotes, and Windows America was by far the cheapest. If you need your windows replaced for any reason, call these people first. Perry, who does the estimates stays entirely on page discussing the possible needs for your windows without trying to sell you anything and he gives you an estimate right away from his phone with photos of the windows to be replaced. Mark operating from the office is tremendously patient (I ask a lot of questions) and provides any information you'd like documentation on. Jeff installed our windows and was amazing to watch. He's a pro, took out the old windows without damaging the walls or anything, got the new windows in, calked and insulated same day (had three windows). Windows America was by far the least expensive bid I got for windows. I checked with multiple companies. We ended up getting all the windows in our house replaced for what it would have cost us to get half as much with other companies. The crew came out and was awesome. Very polite and respectful. They cleaned up after themselves well. They happily answered any questions I had. The owner personally came to check out how the job was being done. A great family run business. Got new windows as part of closing agreement on a new house in February and the sellers chose these guys, so we were stuck with them. First, the estimate conveniently didn't include 2 windows and we were told this after they already ripped the old ones out and we had no choice but to pick up the bill for the extra 2 and deal with plywood for a few weeks until they came in. Then in July, the basement windows started leaking severely and the owner Mark tells me to put a towel in the windows and he will get to me in a few weeks. Here we are in October, multiple phone calls in and still no repair and Mark is making no apologies or taking any accountability for the delays and is still unable to get me the repair scheduled. I chose this company after a huge hail storm destroyed my house. My boss had gotten her windows replaced about ten months before and was happy with the product. Although she had a couple mishaps she was still overall happy. So we gave a call and set up a quote. John came out and gave my husband a quote Which made my husband happy enough that he sign a contract then and there. That's were my experience went a little downhill. Communication was minimal, I never got a call to be told that the installers were several weeks behind and not all calls were returned. In fact at one point my husband called, got a voice mail, I called the same number from a different phone and got an answer . Because I knew how bad the hail storm was I decided to be understanding. I set up a time for the deposit to be picked up. At that time I was told I would have Windows no later than nov 4. Which was already a month later that the contract my husband signed. I didn't argue because luckily the weather has been mild. My Windows just got done today. So far I'm happy. They covered inside and outside and left no mess. I don't know if they leak and won't know until it rains. So if your patient and not in a hurry to get your windows done this is the way to go. The product is good so far. read more

I had 4 contractors quote the work for our new windows and I settled on Windows America as they came with a good recommendation from a property manager and also had the lowest quote by quite a bit. They put in a nice quality double pane windows on time (they did 8 windows in just a few hours) and cleaned up after themselves which was nice. They did leave one small ding in a wall but that can be overlooked when everything else went well. They also replaced the J-trim around the front of my house for an extra $100 - the previous contractor told me no one makes that trim anymore so he couldn't do it *eye roll*. The only strange part of the experience was going into their office to pay the final balance- I was given a hand written receipt on a blank piece of paper instead of an official office receipt. Ordered 12 windows and Patio door in April, they installed most of them in May, (2 were delivered broken and 1 was missing completely.) They said it would be another month to get the replacements/missing in. I called off and on over the summer and got no response (JOHN the sales person didn't know or care - he got his commission and didn't want to be bothered, office directed me to the installer, installer didn't return my calls) . Finally 2 weeks ago, Mark calls me (while i was out of town) and says my windows are ready. I couldnt do anything since i was out of town. Last Wednesday, I got home and there are 2 windows on my doorstep, no notes, instructions, I have called everyday since and now nobody will return my call. AVOID THIS COMPANY 1) they don't order the right windows that I paid for 2) they don't install their products - they expect you to 3) they don't return calls the only thing they excel at is taking the customers money. read more

We love our new windows! After getting the quote, which was very reasonable, the person who came to measure the windows for the official window ordering did have to send another person on another date because of our type of original windows. I feel like it also took a long time to get scheduled, but I assume that's the norm around here with so many windows being replaced all the time from hail damage. We weren't in any hurry so it wasn't a big deal for us. The installers Brian and Mark Jr were AWESOME. I had tons of questions about everything and Brian was extremely patient and took the time to explain everything to me/ The caulking is perfection and even our custom window fit perfectly. They worked hard and despite crazy rain and hail storms the first 2 afternoons got every window in our house replaced in 2 and a half days. I'd recommend these guys to any of my closest friends. read more

Absolutely would not recommend using these guys! After having them here 3 times, the job is still not done. After the first day, they had to stop due to time constraints and one of the crew walking off the job. Not that big a deal. The second time they came I was not in town because of the holidays, so I told them what still needed doing and had my brother-in-law be there to let them in. When I came home my screen door was STILL installed BACKWARDS with no locking hardware, my sliding door handle only had 1 of the 2 screws in it, and 2 of my windows were not caulked on the inside. The third time I had them fix the caulking on the windows and turn the screen door around, but they don't have screws on hand to fix the screen door or the sliding door. Also, the screen door is still loose and wobbly, and I just went upstairs to open the bedroom window and guess what? I have no screen on that window! Completely unacceptable. I should also mention it took multiple phone calls to get anyone back to do anything. The customer SHOULD NOT have to stand over you and tell you what needs to be done to complete the job. If you have to come back to finish a job...fine, but go around and check all the work you did previously to make sure its complete. That is what customers pay you for. I wasted my money. Hopefully anyone else reading this won't make the same mistake. read more
