I came in for a microneedling session with Carrie and was asked mid-treatment if I'd be open to…read moretrying a new technique. Without proper explanation or informed consent, she applied a chemical filler to my face, which caused a burning sensation and left discoloration and a scar on my nose. Carrie later admitted she had scratched me during the procedure, but no meaningful accountability was taken. She was actually very rude about it and defensive. She kept saying call your dermatologist, I'll talk to them and let them know it's not a burn! Not wanting to get into a weird altercation said no and I heard her say "snow flake " under her breathe. What?!! Since then, I've had to spend a significant amount of money on lotions and treatments to try to reduce the scarring. Despite my efforts, I'm still left with a very dark spot that has not healed around my mouth. This experience has been both physically and emotionally upsetting. I strongly recommend that future clients ask detailed questions and ensure full disclosure before agreeing to any new or unfamiliar treatments.

For the record I do use European waxing center for eyebrow shaping and I've been a client for close to five or six years. Prior to moving here I was having my brows done in South Florida and I was happy there as well so I am finding that the eyebrow service has been pretty consistent from state to state.

Her kindness, experience and talent allow her to make suggestions without just pushing product; which is very refreshing and welcoming, to say the least. I naturally have "chicken lips" - most unattractive. So, I have needed to have a little work done, occasionally, for many years. That to say, I am not new to the procedures she does and the products she uses. I could tell Brenda was more than run-of-the-mill capable after spending just five minutes with her. I think you will agree when you visit Best Impressions of Charlotte.

They gave me a discount for visiting their location for the first time so this was an added bonus. I've been to two other Hand & Stone locations, but this one is my favorite. I've been a customer for over 4 years, very picky and always have done my facials with Carol before yesterday that Carmen did my facial. After introducing herself, she told that she had taken the time to study my profile to make sure that nothing was missed. For me that was a great start. She took her time to study my skin and was in no hurry to complete facial. Carmen also took the time to review the skin products that I am currently using and made suggestions on new products to try but never pushed me to buy anything. I definitely recommend Carmen!! You won't be dissapointed!! Skin Therapy of Charlotte is my one stop for facials, personal waxing (Aubry) and massages (Regina). Both are awesome as well!! 100% recommend!!
