I found Crista on a Groupon with a massage for a great price and couldn't pass up the value. I've…read moreonly had a few other massages, but they weren't the best and I didn't feel like the masseuse had listened to what I wanted worked on. That was before I saw Christa! I sit at a desk at work all day long and almost always go home with horrible, tight neck pain. I usually took pain killers and toughed it out but it seemed to be getting worse and worse. After my massage with Christa I left feeling like jelly! The most relaxed and pain free that I had felt in a very long time. She understood where to work exactly. I think I even fell asleep. She was very professional but I found her to be personable and eager to help. I have been back many times and try to go every month if my budget allows it. I'm always so relaxed and peaceful when I leave. Her office is small with a cozy warm feel. You get a tranquil vibe as soon as you get into the waiting room. I HIGHLY recommend a massage with Christa, you will feel amazing!!

She walked me to the room we get started. I told her not too much pressure because I'm very sensitive and my body's very tight as I have not gotten a massage in a few months. After she proceeds to start 20 minutes in she's still doing a dry rub with a towel over me, then brings out the body oil. Mind you at this point she's also getting calls for other appointments and taking them mid massage. When stepping out she would leave the door wide open without fully covering me back up. She asked me what points of my body hurt. The most. I said my legs are very tender and my back is very tender as well. Please just go lightly in those areas. She said OK and then proceeds to very heavily and painfully work out those areas after I mentioned it to her many many times that I don't need a lot of pressure completely. Disregard it and keep keeps going. This was one of the most painful massages I've ever had in my life and even after the full hour was complete. I felt like my body was even more sore than when I walked in. A few hours after leaving the spa I look at my eyelids and see popped blood vessels,(checking in currently at 6:45pm). That's from the clenching face throughout the massage. I've never experienced this much pain. After changing back into my clothes and walking out to go pay, I proceeded to ask her for change, giving her a tip that I felt was right, and then proceeds to haggle me for more money on the tip. I would never recommend this establishment to anyone in the area.

She truly did not miss a single muscle area from head to toe. Moreover, I asked for a deep tissue massage and she went DEEP. She especially did some amazing work on my right shoulder, which I requested. Moreover, apart from working on my requested area, she also did wonders in tensed areas that I did not even know needed some work. You know a massage therapist knows her/his stuff when a therapist massages an area you didn't even think needed to be massaged out until he or she does that magic. This place truly is amazing. The ambiance and environment is beautiful and peaceful and the staff are highly trained, knowledgeable, highly hospitable, and welcoming.

Jane Spa fills an important need: it's a place where you can get an above average massage at a…read morereasonable price without an appointment. The location is a little bit odd, it's in a house and shares a parking lot with an auto repair shop, however they have two reserved parking spots right in front of their door, you just have to go to the back of the repair shop's parking lot to find them. It's a somewhat typical Asian massage place, but the therapists are significantly above average and are very sensitive to finding the spots that need work and working them thoroughly. I'm also impressed that they speak a reasonable amount of English. The building and massage rooms are in need of some repair - in fact they're so rough that I have to remove a star. I also find it a bit odd and uncomfortable they want you to pay and tip before your massage. Overall, Jane's is a great value, priced quite a bit below the local average, staffed with great therapists, and free of scheduling pressure.
