6 teriyaki boneless wings

So, they didn't get the memo when they said "presentation is everything". One of them was all breading, if that's what your six looks like, suggest getting smaller boats. The bone-in wings were meaty but flavor wasn't there (bacon/hot pepper sauce). Service however was great at the bar. Bartender was friendly and attentive. The layout of the whole place. was well thought out. Hot day but A/C was working great! Will try again, but not your boneless wings.

Renegades has some of the best wings I've ever had. They've got cold beer and a nice staff.

Cheap beer, great wings, and great environment. Exactly what you expect and want from a mainstay bar in the mountains of PA.

Hailee is by far the best bartender out there. She's the number 1 reason to come to renegade. Fast service and a great personality

My friend and I are on a boys extended weekend vacation, and after a couple of hours axe throwing…read more(see my review) decided it'd be fun to check out a local bar for some appetizers and drinks. Totem Pole Inn definitely fit the bill. About 2:30 on a Saturday afternoon and the place was surprisingly full with a semi-older crowd all being loud and boisterous having a good time. It appeared to be a husband and wife team running the show with the Mrs. on the bar and getting the tables with the husband hitting the flattop grill right next to the bar. The menu is sparse but has enough choices of about seven or eight appetizers like beer batter pickles, fried mushrooms, mozzarella sticks, and the like. They didn't have the pickles I wanted, so I went with six BBQ wings which came with ranch. My friend had the mozzarella sticks and a cup of lobster bisque. My wings were excellent with breading and well crisped in the fryer. The mozzarella sticks were fine and the lobster bisque also was just ok but not bad. My friend also got a Makers Mark on the rocks which hit the spot. The facility appears to have been just recently renovated and was very clean. Service was attentive and friendly. I'm sure this is a place where locals love to come. The entrees seems to be burgers and people liked them that I could tell. $26 not including tip for an appetizer, cup of bisque, drink, and entree of six wings. You'll like the Totem Pole Inn! Oh, they also have a single pool table, digital juke box, and some electronic gaming machines.

I don't know if it is the owner, manager or cook but the man that cooks the food is so miserable! (The cooking is done behind the bar - hide him in the back) It's hard to have a good time when the man behind the bar looks like he just wants you to shut up and leave immediately. The bartenders are always so nice - but even they look terrified of him. Odd place for sure! The food is ok, not bad but not great. Patio looks very nice, but we have never been there when it's open. Unfortunately, I think we have given up on this one.

We passed Palermo's a couple of times, and it always seemed crowded, so we decided to check it out…read more The reviews were either completely positive or very negative, so we figured we'd give it a try. The restaurant was very nice and beautiful. My son got the pasta and meatball from the kids' menu. The pasta itself was cooked perfectly, but the meatball was a gray ball that lacked any real seasoning. The sauce had the same issue it was bland and needed more flavor. The garlic bread also could use improvement. It needs a more even coating of oil and garlic, plus some grated cheese on top. On the positive side, the pizza was actually very good. We got a plain pie and a pepperoni pie, and both were delicious. The staff was great, and the atmosphere was great as well. Overall, Palermo's has a lot going for it. They just need to improve the sauce and meatballs

Up front, all my reviews are based on my expectation going in. That is; the best 5-star sushi I…read moreever got from a truck stop would fail if I were at Nobu. That said, Palermo's is a Pizza+ place strategically located outside a managed (vacation) community. From the top, the parking lot is a danger to get in and out as well as just navigating the trucks parked in front in unmarked spaces better suited for compact cars. You walk in the front door, facing the restrooms with dining room to the right and the bar / dining room to the left. We were not so much greeted as stared-at, like we were supposed to tell them what to do. We witnessed the same lack of kind control at the entrance by 3 other employees, as there seemed to be no one in particular who was meant to control front of house. We were early for dinner on a week day, about 4:30 pm, so the place was empty but for 3 men at the bar and a pait on the patio. Still it took a while to get menus. Then longer to get drinks. We just wanted to get a fresh pizza, which should have been a slam-dunk for a business that thrives on delivery into a gated community. We ordered the 'granma pizza' and an order of calamai. Again, it took 20 minutes to get the calamari, which was dreid out, possible from a heat lamp. The batter was light and crispy, but they had no flavor at all. Just a little salt/pepper would have given it flavor. We had asked for extra sause with them, that was forgotten. The 'granma pizza' which is simply square flat crust with sause and cheese took another 20 minutes. Maybe they got stuck peeling the plastic wraps off the cheese-like slices? At least that's what it looked like. The service was barely a notch above 'get it yourself!'. Which made the final cut such an insult. I've seen plenty of places list suggested tip calculations on the bottom of the check. Usually it's just a note in fine print showing you the math for 15, 18 & 20% - and hoping you add one of those or more, which since COVID, we always do. This roadside nightmare had the stones to print 4 check-boxes for you to choose - 20, 22, 25 and 30% !!! I did tip over 20% because we do, but that will be the last. I stopped short of a 1-star review, because, although Palermo's was a complete disappointment, that's all it was; disappointing on every level.
