But really the piece de resistance is the Macadamia Key Lime Pie. Hand made by the mother of the owner, this is a one of a kind dessert. The crust, flaky and wonderful, the filling, perfectly tart, the whipped cream is fresh and it is finished with chopped macadamia nuts and toasted coconut. Now, I hate coconut on pies. I feel this would be literally the greatest pie ever if the coconut were simply removed and used as a garnish on the plate. If Ma Mike were to do that and then toast the macadamia nuts it would easily be in my top 2 desserts of all time.
