Heading to this hobby shop for a quick item, because it was the closest. Hours posted online show open. Upon arrival, they aren't open. A sketchy sign on the door saying different hours. This is very unreliable, and shows they don't intend to actually run a business. Happily I went to a more reliable competitor, that is light years better at everything they do. The staff is not friendly nor helpful, AT ALL. They do have a good selection of products, but you have to deal with the staff most of the time (not a good thing). There is almost an arrogance about them. As if everything they are doing is gold and whatever you have is dirt. It's a shame as they are the only local hobby store. Also, they don't do anything for the community (events, races, etc). Orlando would be no different if they closed. read more

I have been a 'fairly regular' customer for a while but my latest experience has left a really bad taste in my mouth. I'm going to start buying online again just so I know I'm getting what I need. I brought in my AX24 to get some parts and make sure they fit. First thing was they started showing me all of the SC24 parts (yes a lot are similar but not all and especially not the axels that I was shown specifically to upgrade to) And then I said I definitely wanted wheels and tires... they showed me to the wheels and handed me a few options and then handed me one and said to get these that's what they would get they are a great deal and will work well on my car. I got them and took them home.. after 10 mins of screwing in tiny screws I put the tires on only to see that the hubs don't actually fit my car and the wheels bind up even when barely even turning. I called for help and he said they don't have a return policy and unless I opened the bag extremely cleanly that it was my fault and there was nothing they could do. Literally the same person that just told me to get these EXACT wheels... I told him I was inexperienced and needed help. I came into a physical store instead of shopping online because I wanted the help of a real person that is in the hobby. I brought my car so you could help me make sure I got the right thing. If you don't know just be honest but I don't appreciate a salesman selling me on something he doesn't even fully understand. This store has a great selection if you know what you are looking for. Please make sure you get them to test fit your accessories because even if they told you to buy them specifically for your specific car there is still a chance you just wasted $50. I know there is still a potential option that if I did tear it open cleanly enough I can possibly get store credit... so I'll update if there is any changes in how they are treating me as a long-time customer (check back at my reviews from 4 years ago they were so good!) Also he shared a personal story about one of his first experiences at a hobby shop buying the wrong battery and not being able to return it as a way to relate to me... but he handed me this product while I had my car in hand and said it would be the best option. How is this my fault at all? Also during my interaction they were more interested in the air fryer that one of them is going to be buying for the shop than they were in helping me. This store is hands-down the best RC shop that all of Florida has to offer carries a large selection of RC varying from rock crawlers, fifth scale gas, planes, boats, and FPV. The owner and his employees are very knowledgeable and helpful to everybody coming in you can tell they take their time to explain thoroughly to beginners and veterans alike. I have been fortunate enough to travel the country specifically looking for hobby shops and have yet to find another that has the same type of selection in stock and ready to go at any given point. I have never left this location with a sad face on because I've always been able to get exactly what I was looking for. Lastly The best part is the most important part for any hobby enthusiast is that they are open seven days a week so even on Sundays when you break your driveshaft you can go and get a replacement and be back up and running by Monday morning. When you walk in you don't really get greeted because they're busy working on repairing drones and cars and such, but I don't mind that, thats not the problem for me. The problem is their lack of knowledge, they sold me a motor and esc combo for a 2s typhoon that was suppose to be a 3s combo but turns out after looking online they sold me the wrong combo. it was actually weaker than the combo I was looking for. Only reason I noticed was because the motor got so hot it would burn you if you touch it. they also claimed without a doubt plastic gears where stronger than steel gears lol The other day I overhear them talking to a customer about planes and the customer asked if there are any planes bigger than 4s and the guy said no not really, 4s is as big as they go. But I confirmed That a E-flite 1500mm P51 mustang does run on 6s lol I'm starting to question their knowledge. I suggest that you go by your own online research read more

Great group of guys. I had several issues that I caused on my TRX-4. I went in 2 days in a row and got so much help with my truck. They adjusted everything, recalibrated all my settings to the perfect position and were patient with me. You could tell they wouldn't be happy until my rc truck was working how it should and I really appreciate that type of service. Pretty rare nowadays. If you want a hobby store that is there to genuinely help you then go here. They won't make you spend if you don't have to. I almost had to buy a new controller $250 because I needed a 5 channel due to my personal truck settings. They insisted on trying something else so I didn't have to spend so much money and they figured it out. They easily could of let me walk out with a $250 controller but insisted on finding the solution. Thank you!! Spent a total of $16 on some other items. That's service! read more

December 26th. I walked prepared to spend just over $100 for 2 dji Spark batteries. When I entered store, NOBODY said a word to me. Just flat out ignored me. I brushed it off and stood at counter waiting to be approached. Still nothing after about 5 min. Normally I would walk out of any business that doesn't acknowledge me. I don't see why I should spend my money anywhere with trashy customer service. Finally I approached an employee and asked if they had any dji Spark batteries. He just said no, just the maverick. And continued doing what he was doing. Didn't offer to order it or anything. With that said. I won't ever be stepping foot in that store again. Unhelpful rude staff. read more

Thieves and liars. What a terrible operation run by liars and thieves. I bought a drone that was defective. When I brought it back within days, a manager named Aaron I guess said he would check it out and see if he could get it working. He said he would call me within days. About a week later I stopped in and he said he hadn't had a chance to look at it yet. Several weeks went by and I heard nothing. When I went back in to see what was up the young man behind the repair counter blatantly lied and said they had called but the number was bad. After confirming they had my correct number, he then claimed they left several messages about it. Another obvious lie. I demanded a refund for the defective product they refused and said they would give me store credit. I remained calm but firmly insisted that was not acceptable. She began to give me the credit receipt then crumpled it up and kicked me out when I said I would take it up with my bank. They actually claimed that their POS and payment terminal system is not capable of issuing refund. What a crock of BS. I will be filing a small claims case against them which will cost them much more than a simple refund would. Liars and thieves. read more
