I dropped off many items to be consigned. Never once did they contact me when an item sold. I always had to ask them. I'm pretty sure I still have items here, too. If I were walking faster, I might have missed this little hidden gem, tucked between The Little Apple paper store and a restaurant, just past Grape Street. A small boutique style high end consignment shop with clothing, handbags, shoes, scarves, jewelry and other accessories, with high fashion designer names. Offering both women and men apparel. The boutique owner's name is Tanya and she is fashionable, hip, personable without being too overbearing. She would be the cool fashion forward friend of your circle. I wasn't looking for anything specific but the colorful array of shoes caught my eye. Didn't expect to see names like Prada, Chanel, Jimmy Choo & Christian Louboutin to name a few. The shoes were an many sizes from 6+. The great thing was that many of the items didn't have gawky, ostentatious labels all over the item. Found a lovely pair of sand colored sling-backs that I can wear with jeans, suits or dresses. FABULOUS!! Also, snatched up a pair of black Theory shorts that were soft to touch, felt and fit like butter. While there I tried on a pair of chalky pink/mauve with a cross strap across the foot Christian Louboutin shoes. The shoe I tried on was absolutely comfortable and looked fabulous on my foot. I decided to defer them for this trip but a repeat trip to this boutique is definitely in store, no pun intended. read more

Incredibly rude shop owner!!! I walked around her shoe department in a pair of flats to see if they would blister or rub. The lady asked me half way through my shopping if I planned to buy them and I said, "I do think so", so she left me alone. When I felt them rubbing, I asked her if they negotiate the price and she said no and that I needed to buy them because I wore them around the store. After telling her that I only walked around her shoe department, she said "So you're telling me that you do that at Nieman Marcus?" and I said "yes", so she proceeded to call me a liar. As if this wasn't bad enough, she followed me onto the street to confront me again after she saw me writing this review. This shop has beautiful things but don't even think about touching something without also planning to buy it. read more

I live in Roxborough, and I've frequented some of the consignment shops in Center City, but I wanted to check out something a little closer to home. I've been in Remix twice now and have been very impressed with the selection -- it's not a large selection, but that's because it's very selective. I used to live in NYC and I agree with the commenter saying that clothes of lesser quality would have much higher price tags there. I stopped in last week with a few friends after brunch and picked up a pair of very inexpensive classic Chanel flats -- clearly well-loved, but in great condition. I've already worn them several times and I love them. I'm definitely going to stop back again, both as a buyer and as a seller. read more

If I could give this place a 0 rating, I would. I tried selling my little brother's Saint Laurent jacket that he bought from the legit YSL store down King of Prussia, a Balenciaga sweater which he got from Barney's and a Burberry wallet that he bought from KOP. Lady in store claimed that it was all FAKE. If the legit store carries "fake" merchandise then she doesn't know what's real or not. Will never come back ever again because lady just really look like she looks down on people. If I could take back my time going there, I would with no hesitation. read more

Beware!!!! When you sell here they tell you one price that you think they are selling your merchandise for, but they actually sell it for more and keep the difference. Had my friends visit and they said my items were marked up hundreds more than what we had agreed the sale price would be. Even had a friend buy an item of mine to see if the owner would be honest with me about the price it sold for and she wasn't. read more

Good consignment shop. The owner/owners are both very pleasant to work with. I co-signed a purse that I wasn't using anymore. This was my first experience with a consignment shop. The bag sold and I was paid without any problems. If you are looking for something pre-loved check this place out. If you have some pre-loved items that you no longer find useful consider passing them along and earning a few dollars for them. read more

I love shopping here, getting fashion advice from the owners, and enjoying the chic atmosphere. When you walk in the store you're hit with the awe of "Pada, Louis, Gucci oh my!". It's everything a well dressed woman (on a budget) could ask for. This store allows you access to high end products at exceptional discounts all while exposing you to exquisite fashion. Here you can literally design your look from head to toe. Remix sell everything from handbags, exclusive jewelry, shoes, dresses, tops and bottoms to fur coats.The owners have extensive fashion knowledge and are great to consult for styling. My advice: visit often! They are constantly getting fabulous new merchandise. This store has a special place in my heart (and my closet), I'm confident that anyone who is interested in elevating their fashion at little expense will love it just as much as I do! read more

I love this place! I discovered it when I was working in the area for a few months. I was immediately impressed with the stock there. The owners really know their fashion - they are also fabulous ladies. Within a month of shopping there, they knew my taste and would show me things that came in which they thought were my style. Often I purchased those items. I've seen reviews that the place is pricey which may be true for Philadelphia, but I travel for work and have never seen such quality items at such great prices. The same items in not great condition would be twice the price in NYC. That said, they do have great taste so a lot of their stock is not inexpensive but it's definitely well priced. They do also have some lower end finds - I bought some casual sweaters and tops for very little money. If you love fashion and want great prices for impeccable quality this is the place. I compared items at another store in German town and the same style coats were either similar in price or more but the linings were ripped in the other consignment shop. Everything I bought at Remix is in perfect condition. I plan to go back every time I'm in the area. May even make a trip just for that purpose. read more
