Our party was in the Trellis Room and the aesthetic is so cute! It's designed to look like a garden and is very spacious. This room can seat about 20/30 people and there is a separate little room for kids or people who don't want to be in the Karaoke mix hehe. We never felt rushed during the session--she allowed plenty of time for diaper changes and feeding. In fact, we even went overtime because she genuinely wanted to ensure we got all the poses we wanted. I especially appreciated how she included all members of our family and was incredibly accommodating and patient with our dog. We first did my maternity shoot with Rita and I knew we were going to have a great time from our first phone conversation! She is so patient and considerate. I messaged them and the owner Melissa responded right away and answered my questions. We agreed on two locations and a date. Little did I know the covid lockdown was right around the corner. We ended up having to reschedule. Melissa was open to rebooking when the state and we were ready. Over a year and a half later or so, I finally emailed her again and told her we were ready so we set a new date. The day of the shoot, another company I had booked for hair and makeup failed to show and instead sent a free lancer in their place. Because of such, we were 20/30 min late in meeting Melissa but she didn't miss a beat and got started right away when we arrived. We felt awkward in many of the shots so I honestly wasn't expecting to love the photos. However 2 weeks later (although she had quoted 3-4 I believe) she emailed me the photos and I was in shock. Isle Media was recommended to us by our wedding coordinator, and Alan was very quick and prompt in communications. Justin and Josh worked tirelessly with us on the day of, and was incredibly professional and courteous despite a grueling, nearly full day of shooting. They worked closely and in sync with our photographers throughout the day to capture everything from pre-wedding attire changes throughout different parts of the hotel grounds and the beach, the tea ceremony, the actual ceremony, and all the way through until the end of the reception. And were very knowledgeable in providing guidance and instructions throughout the day. Just a quick 2-days after our wedding day, we received a short clip from Justin with highlights of our wedding day that we were able to share with our friends and family on social media. And just a week and a half later, we received our full wedding video with some great clips and montages, including wedding guest best wishes and a beautiful drone shot of the grounds and the majestic Hawaiian waters. We had some minor edit requests for our wedding video which Justin was quick to respond to, and we were very happy with the end results. Thank you so much Justin and Josh! The photos we received for our wedding turned out wonderfully -- our families were so happy with them, and we were grateful to have those memories captured. But sadly, we're now past 8 months since our wedding, and we still haven't received our highlight or full video, despite following up several times. We also asked for a few specific/missing photos (a large group reception shot and a portrait of the bride with her immediate family) that still haven't been delivered. What's been most disappointing is the lack of transparency and communication. We've been incredibly patient, giving space for the creative process and trying not to rush the team. But after so many months and repeated follow-ups, we're left feeling anxious and in the dark. We've just repeatedly been told "next week" for months and now we've reached a point that we've been entirely ghosted. We trusted Isle Media to preserve the emotional essence of a once-in-a-lifetime day -- and now we're afraid we may never get to relive it the way we had hoped. For a service of this cost and significance, this level of delay and silence is deeply disheartening. If/when our remaining photos and videos are delivered at the high-quality standard you would expect from Isle Media, I'll gladly update this review -- but as it stands, I wouldn't want another couple to go through this and therefore can't recommend their services to anyone looking for an event photographer/ videographer.
