Went to Remington Park after a convention dinner with a group of friends. The good: Very close to Oklahoma City. Such an easy drive. Limited traffic at 10 PM. Parking is free and plentiful. The not so good: Smoking!! The casino is so smoky. I had to take a shower after getting back to our OKC hotel. Not a gambler, but they had no tables. Just slots. Lots and lots of slot machines. This isn't Vegas, baby. An interesting excursion, but would probably not go again. read more

We went to Remington Park for the horse races and had a really fun time. The races themselves were exciting and made for a great night out. We ate at Bricktown Brewery on site. The food was pretty good, and the service was also pretty good. It was convenient to have a restaurant right there. After the races, we went to the casino. It's slots only (no card games), but it was still fun and added to the experience. That said, there were some safety concerns. We noticed several individuals who felt questionable, and it made parts of the evening uncomfortable. I wouldn't recommend women attending alone or without a male companion, especially later in the evening. Overall, it has a lot of potential and was enjoyable, but the atmosphere and security presence could be improved. Because of that, I'd rate it 3 out of 5 stars. read more

Went for Extreme Racing event. Love to go to Remington Park for the races and especially on Kentucky Derby day. However, Extreme Racing was by far the most busy day I have been. Food and drink service was really good. The staff handled the crowd very well. Valet parking was excellent. The casino was busy as well. The only negative I can say is the smoke in the casino is overpowering. Overall, it is a great place for entertainment especially if you like horse racing. read more

Remington park has sure changed over the years. Started out as a paramutual horse racing venue. The first of its kind in the OKC area. Over the years it has become a full casino and still has the horse racing. You can sit and watch the horses from inside in comfortable seating with full view of the track or you can go outside and stand pretty much trackside. The casino has all the usual things like slots and video poker along with card room and other gaming. Not quite Vegas but if it's your thing you can get your fix on here. read more

Went to the Classic Christmas Event sponsored by Enchant on Christmas Eve 2024. What a magical experience! Inspired by Coca-Cola, half of the parking lot is converted into a huge maze of festivities. We had a wonderful time viewing the larger-than-life size light displays and taking pictures to remember. We explored the grounds filled with joyful and wondrous activities including an ice skating rink, snow slide, meet & greet with Santa & Ms. Claus and more! There were food trucks and a stage for live entertainment. We stopped by one of the several Drinks booths to sip on some (adult) hot chocolate & cider. It was a spectacular and special experience that would be a treat for adults, families & kids! Highly recommended!! read more

We even showed them that we did not get a text. The supervisor made us wait in line again which would be another hour or more...yeah, thanks but no thanks. Remington Park Casino is located in Oklahoma City near the science center. The staff at the casino are very friendly and helpful, but the casino logistics has some issues. The casino is quite small, so if you don't smoke, you get overwhelmed by smoke. Also, the ticket redemption kiosk are spread out and hard to find, and not very easy to use. read more

I came in to dinner at Silks restaurant. The restaurant is very large and spacious. The staff were very friendly from the host to the servers to the managers. My server, Trinity was very nice and professional. I ended up getting the shrimp scampi. Wow! The pasta was fantastic. The horse racing was also quite exciting.. The casino has lots of machines to choose from when gambling. It was a lot of fun. I also met Mark, The major d, And here is very polite and stop by my table to make sure that everything was going well. A beautiful day in Oklahoma to go to horse races! One, it's free! Two, it's next to casino and Three, drinks and food is abundant! It was crowded and I was so surprised to see so many kids playing outside on the grounds! I never thought about taking kids to racetrack but I guess kids like horses too! We ventured inside to place a wager and noticed how old the facilities are. It's really not a good look! We even when toward the casino to get to a restaurant and the smell was terrible! I didn't order food or drinks it just wasn't a very appealing vibe! Really my least favorite casino. There are only 2 ancient drink machines (there used to be 4 before the most recent remodel). Usually one drink machine is broken, casino with worst coffee. Usually a bathroom is closed and you won't know which one until you walk to the far end. Everything at this casino is inconvenient, I believe on purpose so you have to walk around more. Ticket changers won't cash over a certain amount, so you have to go to the only cash window. Employees upstairs never greet you once you are in the casino, cleaning people park their trash cart right next to you when they could easily put it elsewhere. Years ago I went to silks with a group of friends and thought it was a great experience. I haven't tried some of the areas so I'm guessing it varies on the eateries and service you get there. I love that, besides the casino, it's a family friendly place. Spending hours there watching the horses and making wages on who will win whether you actually place bets or just talk big! They have so much to offer for food from Henry Hudson's, Bricktown Brewery, and Silks plus concession stand snacks. My wife and I were looking for a unique place to eat and settled on Bricktown Brewery, but we didn't know it was inside a racetrack and casino venue. Once we figured that part out, we parked and headed in to take a look at the place. We didn't see much of the racetrack portion because it was closed that day, but from what we could see around the grounds it was a pretty standard racetrack with some nice seating, and a cool little overhang where you could eat from the restaurant and watch the races. They had the Thunder game on the big screen across the way since no races were happening at the time. The casino portion is smaller than others I've been to, but nice nonetheless. From the moment you first arrive, glowing rotating lights greet you with the sound of slots and other machines ready to take your money. They also have the standard soda and coffee machines scattered along the walls so you can keep your caffeine levels high as you gamble well into the day or night. I noticed a couple of restaurants and a club, but we were strictly interested in the Bricktown Brewery. If we hadn't had other plans, we probably would have explored a bit more. read more

Stopped here on my way home from a training seminar. Number one, I don't care about smoking in a casino but, this place is disgusting beyond all measure. I don't know why I didn't take pictures. Random burn out cigarettes and ashes all over machines all over everything actually. I think my feet were sticking to the floor. We hung out for an hour and walked around all over the place and the only place I saw any winning going on was the high stakes room. They have a pretty cool bar area but, this place just smells terrible and looks terrible with tight machines. I definitely would suggest an Indian casino before coming here. Probably won't return. Excellent place for my hubby's surprise party!!! From the moment I placed the call to Group Sales at Remington Park, I knew this party would exceed all expectations I had in mind. And I wasn't wrong. My husband has said every year, "One of these years, I'm going to have a birthday party in a suite at Remington Park." But this year, I decided to act on it. I placed the call and set the date. The most difficult part was keeping it a secret! Once my husband arrived at Remington Park, his friends took him to the Bricktown Brewery bar near the casino. Meanwhile, I was trying to figure out how to get him to the suite where our friends and family were waiting. When he entered the suite, he was amazed! Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the suite. Our bartender was so courteous, helpful, and very pleasant. The appetizers within the suite were delicious as well as the buffet in the hallway. Everyone was impressed. We were placing bets, watching the races from the balcony and having a great time. And the horse race presentation named in my husband's party was a great decision because it's so unique and special! In fact, nobody within our party had watched a horse race that close. It was truly a memorable night. We had the best evening! Everyone was conspiring on how to have an annual party in a suite at Remington Park! It was such a hit that I bet we make it a tradition. Everything was perfect! And, as the one responsible, I felt at ease the whole time. Every detail was executed with excellent customer service. It was very apparent that a lot of care and thought was put into ensuring the experience was nothing short of amazing. Absolute trash! I put $50 in roulette and made three bets of $1.25. Casual it would not print a ticket. I think all the Atlanta now about 30 minutes for him to arrive. I tried to say that I made all types of ridiculous bets, but clearly the machine was screwed up as I would never bet multiple bets of $23 on green 0. The manager confirmed the same thing, in rather then believing me they believe they're screwed up machine. I will never go to Remington Park again and I suggest no one else does either!!! The live music was incredible, it really helped pass the time between the races. I had no idea it was 20 minutes apart as I had never been before. Of course, I lost all $4 I bet, it was a tragedy. If you gamble here and spend your money you will have no issues. Spend your money, play by their rules, stay in your lane. But... The minute you get harassed by a customer. Will they protect you? Will they view the cameras? Will they made a actual decision? No they will ask both of you to leave. I said (nope) please review the tapes and see what he said. They would not review the tapes. They would not discipline or do anything. In fact what they did say was that I antagonized him. Even Riverwind gives up $20-30 free play and vouchers for food etc. this place also stinks really bad of smoke. Zero ventilation. A lot of the staff are just rude and snotty. Like they don't give a damn if they help you with anything. Surly and rude is the best way I can put it. And the loud speaker with a man's voice blaring to get out 15-30min before they actually close gets annoying, fast. A place like this should harass people much less and give them a reason to head back. I've won a bit but lost way more than I've ever won. Not the case with most other casinos. I've never tried their food so can't comment on that but with the amount of smoke filling the air, I wouldn't want to. Overall I couldn't give it more than 2 stars. They are lucky they have live races and are closest to OKC because otherwise they would have no business. If you want a much better experience (minus the horses, which from what I've heard they treat like crap here) I suggest you take the time to drive over to Salt Creek. That is honestly one of the best casinos around and most of the staff are awesome (always a few bad apples), they strive to make your stay great and offer really great rewards. read more

My husband & I took our 2 kids (16 & 13) and our German exchange student (17) to Remington Park on Labor Day for our 1st visit. We had a GREAT time! None of us have ever been to the horseraces before so I wasn't sure what to expect. But for $0 to enter and $0 to park, I was definitely up for a family outing! Everyone working there was SO friendly! In fact, it was the lady (Rhonda?) behind the counter outside taking bets that contributed about 75% to us having a good time! I walked up to her booth, and when she greeted me with a smile, I said, "you have a friendly face and I have NO idea what I am doing". She was so patient, informative, and genuinely concerned that my WHOLE family have a good time! When I went back up a 2nd time, her 1st words were "DID YOU WIN?!?". Customer Service goes a very long way with me and she definitely was great. Here are a few things that as a newby, I didn't realize but wish I would've known ahead of time (with the exception of betting, I still don't completely understand that!): *Spend the $3.50 and get the "program". If noting else, it is a good momento. But it is fun to look at all of the horses, where they're from, the jockey's name (and weight!), etc. *After they "parade" the horses through the little alley-way, there's not much notice about when the race will start. I was expecting a countdown or something, but once they get them all loaded in the gates, they go. *You can literally stand right at the track to watch the race. My kids would go up to the fence to watch each one, they really liked that. *They may run on the dirt track and they may run on the turf. We saw both but I was totally caught off-guard when they lined them up to run on the turf. I later realized that you can look on the program and it will show which track the race will be on. *There are quite a few photo (and video) opportunities! There is a pretty water feature on the north end of the facility and a really beautiful statue that we took note of. *You can bet for a very little amount of money. My least amount I spent on a bet was $2. Or, you can not bet at all! You could literally make a day out of it and spend no money. But...please tip the valet. We walked around indoors before we left and there are a few restaurants in there. But for the most part, it is definitely casino-ish and...if you're sensitive to smoke like I am, you'll need to keep an open mind as a lot of the patrons are smoking, indoors and outdoors. I don't think there was a designated smoking area at all (but I could be mistaken). My only "complaint" (and I don't like to complain) is that they had live music but every time he would start to play, the loud speaker would blast the radio, or the announcer, etc. I would have enjoyed the live music more had the not interrupted him repeatedly ;-) I would definitely go back, and I would definitely take my kids again. read more

Honestly, I went to eat at the restaurant and watch the horse races for the first time recently, and I had a lot of fun! The food was great, and the experience was really fun and unique!
