Was a fun afternoon with horse racing and then some time at the slots. I did leave with a lot more than I walked in with. Will definitely stop again on way though town again

Went to the Classic Christmas Event sponsored by Enchant on Christmas Eve 2024. What a magical experience! Inspired by Coca-Cola, half of the parking lot is converted into a huge maze of festivities. We had a wonderful time viewing the larger-than-life size light displays and taking pictures to remember. We explored the grounds filled with joyful and wondrous activities including an ice skating rink, snow slide, meet & greet with Santa & Ms. Claus and more! There were food trucks and a stage for live entertainment. We stopped by one of the several Drinks booths to sip on some (adult) hot chocolate & cider. It was a spectacular and special experience that would be a treat for adults, families & kids! Highly recommended!!

Remington Park Casino is located in Oklahoma City near the science center. The staff at the casino are very friendly and helpful, but the casino logistics has some issues. The casino is quite small, so if you don't smoke, you get overwhelmed by smoke. Also, the ticket redemption kiosk are spread out and hard to find, and not very easy to use.

I came in to dinner at Silks restaurant. The restaurant is very large and spacious. The staff were very friendly from the host to the servers to the managers. My server, Trinity was very nice and professional. I ended up getting the shrimp scampi. Wow! The pasta was fantastic. The horse racing was also quite exciting.. The casino has lots of machines to choose from when gambling. It was a lot of fun. I also met Mark, The major d, And here is very polite and stop by my table to make sure that everything was going well. I definitely recommend this restaurant and ask for Trinity, cuz she was amazing!

A beautiful day in Oklahoma to go to horse races! One, it's free! Two, it's next to casino and Three, drinks and food is abundant! It was crowded and I was so surprised to see so many kids playing outside on the grounds! I never thought about taking kids to racetrack but I guess kids like horses too! We ventured inside to place a wager and noticed how old the facilities are. It's really not a good look! We even when toward the casino to get to a restaurant and the smell was terrible! I didn't order food or drinks it just wasn't a very appealing vibe! I believe if you can remind outside and check out the horses it's a good time with family and friends they had plenty seating options. Overall it's not a place I'd visit on the regular!

I absolutely love going to Remington! We've gone for the horse races, the casino, dinners, and lots of fun events like wine and beer tastings. I love that, besides the casino, it's a family friendly place. Spending hours there watching the horses and making wages on who will win whether you actually place bets or just talk big! They have so much to offer for food from Henry Hudson's, Bricktown Brewery, and Silks plus concession stand snacks. From charity races to the Kentucky Derby, it's definitely a place to have an adventure.

The staff and chefs were obviously maintaining the food so it was freshly prepared. I rated the service as mostly excellent, even though we had to wait a bit to be seated. The waitress checked on our table several times as we dined. I rated the restaurant as very clean with cleaned tables, surface areas, and floors.

Since this is the whole Casino itself, will be reviewing the establishment itself…read more I've been to other Casinos from my home country and Las Vegas and I would say, definitely a far cry to those Casinos. Some said there were some designated smoke areas but it seems like people smoke anywhere regardless. People are also dressed like they're just going to walmart or something. There were actually other eating places here, but we went for the Riverwind Buffet. Unfortunately, the rules were not really upheld because it was mentioned that the whole party must be in line but some people in front of us kept going in and out of the line. Not really the fanciest buffet compared to the ones I've been to especially Las Vegas. The selection is also very limited and personally the only best thing here is the Snow Crabs and their good selection of desserts. The calamari may be a good contender. Thankfully my baby loves their one and only soup which is the Broccoli and Cheddar. Unfortunately, even their one and only best thing had issues for me. I felt like some of the served crabs were not fresh and it gave off a really bad smell and weird taste giving me the impression that they've gone bad already. So, I would advise people not to just eat the crabs willy nilly without properly assessing it. Wish they had a cracker and some gloves to offer as well to help with eating the crabs especially the claw part. The server that we had was kind and attentive but lost our receipt. Thankfully the lost receipt wasn't an issue during our stay. The ambiance, like I said, isn't the best compared to other buffets to the Casinos I have been to in the Philippines and Las Vegas. Like personally, unfortunately, the Philippines Casino and Buffet is heaps better and most of the Casinos (which is most I have been to) in Las Vegas is like miles away from the Riverwind Casino and thats also in terms of their Buffet and ambience. It could have been better being one of the only few Casinos near OKC. One major complaint I have is the lack of bathroom inside the buffet area as it only had a one room/stall for each gender. Like you have to go outside the buffet to use the bathroom and even wash your hands if you can't wait for it. Thankfully the bathrooms in the casino area seems to be well taken care of as someone keeps cleaning it. The way to the bathroom in the buffet area is also disgusting as you would see all the left overs and unwashed plates on the way there. Overall, for a family birthday celebration, it was still okay and not the worst but not the best. Despite the crab issues, it is still worth coming back for it as the price justifies it especially if you love crabs (which is only available on Saturdays). Would definitely advise you all to come early as we spent majority of our time (like probably 1-2 hrs) waiting in line for the buffet.

Still, we got to see a lot of the zoo's residents. We started with as much of the indoor viewing as we could. The OKC Zoo has an impressive collection of snakes -- especially venomous snakes. What can I say about snakes? Not a lot, other than I enjoyed watching them, and I am glad they were in their environment and I was in mine! I do wish the Zoo had included a notice about the dangers of invasive species, as I live in Florida and I have seen first hand what the python population has done to native species in South Florida. While the pythons on exhibit are fascinating, the Zoo should remind visitors that non-native reptiles should not be kept as pets. As the day warmed up, we spent a lot of time visiting the giraffes, the elephants, the many big cats and the full range of animals living at the Zoo, to the extent they were not sheltering from the cold. I could restate what the Zoo has on its website, but I suggest anyone who is interested in visiting should spend quality time exploring the Zoo's website and making a plan. It wasn't until October, when I passed through OKC with German and a friend mentioned the memorial, that I looked it up. This time, passing through again and not in a rush, I decided to visit the memorial on a Sunday. I couldn't find the parking garage mentioned on the website, so I parked across the street in the post office lot since it was Sunday (I don't think this would be okay on weekdays). When I asked a staff member about parking, she said that was fine. The memorial grounds themselves are beautiful and open to the public 24/7 for free. You can walk around the Gate of Time and the Field of Empty Chairs, which was especially moving, though the atmosphere felt quite heavy and chilling. it was decorated with the Christmas wreath, but there's definitely nothing about holidays cheer can be felt here Please note that bags larger than 14 inches are not allowed inside the museum. Museum admission is $18, and you're supposed to get free parking at a nearby garage, though directions weren't very clear. The museum starts on the second floor and tells the story of the 168 people who died in the 1995 bombing. What struck me most was how it emphasized that it was just an ordinary morning--people checking in to work before 9 a.m., unaware of what was about to happen. The museum was a bit crowded when I visited, likely because it was Sunday, and some visitors brought young kids who were running around, which felt a little distracting given the nature of the space. I don't think many people still actively think about this event, but if you ever find yourself in Oklahoma City, I do think it's worth visiting. It's a powerful and sobering experience.
