Worst most frustrating experience ever at the bar which ended up being a warning for the whole place. Doesn't seem to be anyone in charge either because nobody cared. It's dirty and smells moldy. After aprox 10 minutes some lady claiming to be a manager Said I'm sorry but your jackpot is void, stated o had put myself on a banned list (which I did not) keep in mind I have and have had a players card for years and have accumulated points, free play along with being on the monthly mailing list. My girlfriend and I stopped into the casino on the way home, we are avid black jack players and stopped here to see what they had to offer. The game was pretty fair even offering late surrender (which you don't get often in OK). While the game was good, the customer service they offered was awful. My girlfriend played her money and reached her stop point and colored up. For awhile we played four handed and it went well. A player colored up and left leaving us two handed. With absolutely no one interested in sitting down, immediately after my girlfriend colored up the pit boss very rudely stated "have you not read the rules, the seats are for players only" I explained to the pit boss we had put in about 2 hours of play and that there was no customer interest in playing black jack. I understand the rules, but when customers are paying money and have been playing for multiple hours at least be empathetic when you have to enforce the rules. In conclusion, if you're looking for a casino in the middle of no where with terrible customer service, a broken soda machine and someone that might jump down your throat on a Tuesday night, this is your place! read more

We use to like going to Kickapoo in Harrah for diner and to play. It's a hour drive from where we live. Twice we have made the drive and the restaurant closed early. We then drove to the one in Shawnee. I tried to call them to make sure their restaurant was open. No one answered the phone. Tried to cal several time before we got there. Same, no answer. Called their information and they said I don't know if they are open I will transfer your call and you can ask. Same, no answer. By this time we had arrived. Went in and their restaurant was closed for a private party. I was fine with them being closed but no one could answer the phone and information didn't know. Horrible costumer service! I am not a casino fan, but I like this place. While it is small, it just feels intimate. The bar/lounge is a relaxing semi-secluded place to hang out. It could use more table games, but that is really my only complaint. NOTE: I am only speaking about the Harrah location. They just opened a second location in my hometown of Shawnee. The Shawnee casino is a joke. The only serve non-alcoholic drinks from behind tables that look like a high school concession stand, they had 6 games broken on their opening weekend and it was the size of a broom closet. I had a really great time here. I played for over 30 minutes on just $2. I just wanted to feel out the games and see if they are fun. I didn't win BIG, but I played and played. I will definitely be going back. I don't go to make money, just to get out and have a good time. It beats some of the other casinos. I was there on a Sunday and they had some good live music, too. Went to the MMA FIGHTS as part of the SLAMMIN N JAMMIN weekend at Kickapoo Casino in Harrah that includes the RAGE IN THE CAGE 37 MMA FIGHTS FRI night, the professional wrestling event SAT night, and the free concert. Parking is plentiful but if you arrive after doors open prepare to park a ways away and a bit of a hike unless you're lucky enough to catch a shuttle to the door. They also have valet parking! I was comped VIP tickets for all three events for my son and I and that included upfront reserved seating, unprecedented access through the entire event, food, access to meet fighters and promoters. View from our seats was unbelievable but even then they filmed the event from on top of cage and broadcast that to huge 100 inch monitors to ensure we had an up close look at the action without having to look through the cage ensuring you missed no action because of angle, cage, etc! Fabulous plus they did regular replay of action on the monitors to ensure you didn't miss a single kick, grimace, punch, knee to the g***n, or tap out as the fighter started to pass out from lack of oxygen!! Foods not fancy but plentiful, Fresh Tortilla Chips, Salsa, Dogs, Chicken Wings, Pop Corn, Chili Nachos, and they kept bringing them non stop. If you don't go VIP all these items are very inexpensive and the two domestic beers they haver were only $4 and mixed premium drinks only $6. This is a great sports venue and event open to all ages but better suited to adults due to loud noise, lateness of hour, scantily clad ring girls, violence with blood, etc. My nine year old loved it. Security is absolutely top notch with everyone being scanned before entry for anything prohibited and security readily visible in main venue. Great for all guy groups, great for dates as long as it's not your first as conversation is lucky at best, great for family trips if you understand there will be some blood and DONT get front row tickets with children under 8 or so. Not the place to take your grandmother or older Mom......the music and announcing, as they should be, are very loud. My son and I had an absolutely great time!! They have an entrance line especially for family with children that I thought rocked! Dress is casual and it can get a bit warm in the venue.
