It was my first time playing bingo and I made the mistake of going during "fast" bingo, which I don't recommend if you've never played before. Each game is different and they have people coming by selling you the cards for the next game while you're trying to play which as a newbie was very distracting. The staff were all very nice and helpful and willing to answer all our questions. I plan to go back and play the "slow" bingo until I get the hang of it. There are 2 floors, the lower level has slot machines and 2 bingo rooms, one is smoking and the other non-smoking. The ventilation is very good even in the smoking room, because it wasn't smokey and didn't smell at all. There is a small concession stand inside the non-smoking room. The fountain drinks and tea are free, or you can purchase bottled drinks. The 2nd floor is all slots but has a small bar that serves mixed drinks and beer. The bar prices weren't too bad, higher than a typical bar but not too high for a casino bar.

The few times I've been here, the people in front of me won't let me play through. I ended up playing as a single once and found myself and the guy behind me paired up because the people in front weren't using golf etiquette and letting anyone play through, but taking their sweet time. I saw a waitress dropped the lid of the water dispenser where guests were getting water. Then she picked it up looked around and placed it back on there!!!!! I know the water isn't touching it but that's just nasty. At least disappear to the back for three seconds and come back to make it seems like she tried. Yuck! Overall, the experience was like a circus. I had asked a food server if they could find out if the food contains eggs and dairy and he gave me a disturbed look. I am not the only one with a food restriction! The staffs here are mixed. Some friendly and some not so. There is no in between. We also had the frozen club specials to complete the meal!!! Again, our waitress was outstanding and deserves recognition from staff for her level of service and promotion of the venue. On to the tennis center to play pickle ball...another great experience we didn't expect. We actually felt like members here as well. In addition, he engaged the full crowd engaged in activities that would ensure return engagements to Hidden Trails and promoted the sports of tennis and pickle ball. As an employer myself, I recommend management recognizes who they have working in these critical roles at the venue and rewards their efforts for promoting return engagements from opportunities like ourselves.
