I have 3 lay-overs so with the warnings of an historic El Nino, quite literally, tons of snow, I thought it was time to pull the trigger. I called Whitaker and 2 others to get bids. Whitaker and one of the others sat with me for like an hour answering all my questions, and I'm a bit like a 3 year old, "why?" "why? "how?"....They were both patient and I would have been happy with either. Their estimates were a gnat's hair apart, both within spitting distance of the estimate I got 4 years ago. In this world of absurd pricing and gouging, these guys remained ridiculously low and fair. I opted for Whitaker based on a good feeling. What a great move!! ON time, multiple confirmations, and honored their estimate. The roof is gorgeous. Hazel would've been proud of the clean-up, and the crew was incredibly friendly and conscientious - they even worked, against my pleading - in the rain!! Here's a kicker. The day they started the job, the office manager knocked on my door and did a 'house call' to thank me and express their gratitude for choosing them. Now seriously, when is the last time you've even HEARD of a company doing that, let alone experienced it yourself??? I simply couldn't be happier. Genuinely. OH...there's another review from a WG on Aug 28th. That's NOT me. Check the profiles to verify.

Wind and hail damage, insurance claim, whole roof replacement…read more We had a great experience with 1st Priority. Our laminated comp shingle roof had wind and hail damage. We reached out to Brian Hammond with 1st Priority today. Brian is very responsive and met us in just a few hours after we talked in March 2024. Brian helped us with determining the roof had Storm damage, He advised us to pursue an insurance claim. Brian was on the Roof with his crew for over one hour with very detailed photos and markings: over 60 pieces of shingles are found and determined those shingles needed to be replaced. Since the shingles are over 25 years now since the home was built in 1999. We had filed a claim in 2022, for the wind and hail damage with my insurance company which sent out an adjuster and inspected the roof: determined less than 20 pieces of shingles needed to be replaced with less than $1000 cost for replacement the broken pieces. Since we didn't get any photos with details, so we didn't go through the repairs. Brian with his crew took a piece of shingle and cover the spot with a tarp temporarily. The piece was sent to a third party lab to test with the test results come back in April 2024 and determined the original shingles were not produced and shingles were still under the manufactory 25 years warranty and won't allow any roofer and mix other shingle types to repair our roof, then Brian opened my previous claim for us for the whole roof replacement since the claim is within 2 years time limit. We received an approval from our insurance company to pay for the whole roof replacement minus our insurance deductible in May 2024. The whole roof replacement project has completed today, 14 June 2024. Posted a few pictures: 1st and 2nd pictures is old roof pictures taken by Brian before the whole roof replacement project, but the rest pictures are new roof pictures also taken by Brian after the the whole roof replacement project. Thanks Brian and his roofing crew! My nearby houses also got the storm and wind damages which need replacement. Hope Brian and his roofing crew can also help them!

When it was time for me to have my roof replaced after some wind damage, I called Master Roofing. That same day I had one of their employees on my roof inspecting everything. Rather than take advantage of my lack of information, they took the time to educate me about the issues my roof had as well as the most cost and time effective method of fixing the issues. The very next day a crew was on my roof working. What is even more impressive is that my roof was replaced before any other roofing company in utah came out to give me a quote on replacing my roof. Ahmad came to our home to provide a free quote and spent nearly two hours thoroughly inspecting both the roof and the attic. That level of detail immediately set them apart. He took the time to explain everything clearly, which gave us a lot of confidence in their process. We received six different bids, and Master Roofing's was by far the most comprehensive. It was clear that other companies were leaving out items that likely would have shown up later as added costs. With Master Roofing, everything was transparent upfront. Before the project even started, McKay and Kris came out to walk us through the entire process. They were professional, thorough, and made sure we knew exactly what to expect. Throughout the project, Cole (the project manager) was exceptional. His communication was consistent, proactive, and incredibly helpful. We always felt informed and taken care of. The crew was fantastic...friendly, professional, and efficient. They worked quickly without sacrificing quality, kept the job site clean each day, and were very respectful of our property. They even finished the project about half a day earlier than expected. After completion, McKay stopped by to personally check everything over and make sure we were satisfied, which really speaks to their level of care and accountability. I highly recommend Master Roofing. Do your homework and get multiple estimates...you'll quickly see why this company stands out.
