In contrast to the previous review, while I did note that the owners have a Bentley and that many of the things they sell are reproductions etc I do believe that they offer a real service, are helpful in meeting your needs and they do have some antiques which are labeled as such. We have a fun time and came home with about 700 pounds of items (not a single antique!) and are happy with what we got. Will be back but will look elsewhere for a bigger selection of true antiques.

The same barometers and grandfather clocks have been there for years. It is sadly flooded with strange derivative furniture and accessories (like fake Louis Vuitton bookends, moet and chandon cushions, and new, but made to look old, Coca Cola accessories which I'm sure are on a bit of a rocky standing legally...) New in is the weird 'fake antique' Peaky Blinders stuff that seems to be drowning every vintage store these days. Look, the place is really fine and potentially good to look around, sometimes you might find a nice piece in there, however marketing itself as an antique centre of sorts is not really justified. It is 75% new stock and a few magnificent, but over-priced, antiques. Lots of good reclaimed garden furniture but again, the prices are painful in constrast to local reclaimation sites.

I am always a big fan of places where the items on sale feel like a random collection of things…read morethat someone has collected over the years......If you are a fan of one offs and items with charm this little place in the Custard Factory is well worth a visit. You can pick up furniture and household items right through to clothes and accessories if you are not afraid to have a bit of a rummage. The things on sale here change all the time so it's not the kind of place I go looking for something specific. This is more a curiosity shop type vibe to browse through and discover what it is you went in there for along the way.

However, this is a cute little antique store with a variety of things from furniture, to knick knacks, prints, etc. We came looking for antique furniture, and while they didn't have what we were looking for, we did find a pair of unique cufflinks. Location has ample free parking which is very convenient. It definitely has a little something for everyone.

Lots of little areas of interest and a tearoom with homemade cakes. We do like a nice garden to share a cippa and a chat, the whole experience was ruined by the surly waitress who obviously did not want to be there on a Sunday. Tea arrived in two cardboard cups & cake in a bag. Not really good enough for £9.00 A real shame.

I'd parked right at the bottom of the high street, so on my way into the centre of Halesowen this…read morewas the first shop I came to. And it's not a terrible place to start - particularly for someone who loves antiques and secondhand trinkets. The shop is heaving with stock, all higgeldy-piggeldy jammed in, with two ludicrously narrow aisles to navigate down - definitely not a space for wheelchairs or pushchairs, and my large frame struggled squeezing past other shoppers without causing a landslide! I spent some time drooling over some seascape paintings that most people would think were vile, but eventually concluded I have enough bad 70s art on my walls at the moment. Should I feel like having a change around, I'll head back here to stock up on some more vintage pictures!

It is jam packed from floor to ceiling with stuff, so much so that there should be a designated one way system to navigate the store otherwise it's traffic jam central. It is a treasure trove of stuff, literally stuff. There are cabinets full off wade figurines, multiple coffee and tea services, furniture, books, mattresses, clocks, pretty much anything you can imagine is probably hiding in here somewhere. There are stacks loads of books at the back that i was desperate to much through but because of a pile of mattresses and heap of other stuff in front of the cabinets I couldn't get anywhere near them. Price points vary with really cute 50's coffee sets for £4 to G plan furniture from £80. You can definitely bag a bargain here but on other things the owners really know what they have and price accordingly. I was tempted by several things but didn't buy so i'm not sure how they are on the old haggle but give them a try, I'm sure there is room for manoeuvre.

They have a wide range of stock with a range of items out front that is updated frequently. My favourite of which was an antique Dentist's tool with a foot pump that powered a hydraulic hose used to turn the dentist's drill! Not always so macabre, often you will find a nice piece of antique furniture or an old fire place sitting out front, proudly on display for all to see. Upon entering the shop you find much more inside than you might think with antique dressers and items that might have come out of Canal boats and be warned if you do enter with an Antiques enthusiast, you won't be leaving anytime soon, as the place opens up to reveal more and more, but then you could always slink off to the Prince next door.

Antique chairs, chandeliers, vintage tables. Then the owner told me they had another two floors, one of them solely had items on sale. The furniture is very well kept and the prices are good, considering. It's easy to get lost inside the store, you could be in there hours. I bought a nice antique mirror for ten pounds. It is worth taking a look in there if you are an antique enthusiast or even if you just like to have a mooch, like me!

I had the opportunity of visiting Fellows with a friend who's into this sort of thing and I was impressed with the professionalism of how things are done. Quite traditional, using techniques of old to sell all manner of things called "lots". In the catalog on today's visit were old watches, antique clocks, framed pictures, furniture, jewellery, the book was full of interesting things. It's exciting stuff when the auction is in full swing and becomes extremely competitive as thousands of pounds are spent in minutes. It's hard to work out what's going on for a newcomer like me but it was a great experience and I urge you to pay a visit

My interest in Fellows came when I started running vintage events although have always had more than a passing interest with vintage jewellery. Having never been to an auction, it's safe to say I was petrified the Monday morning I walked into this auction house in Birmingham's jewellery quarter. It really did help that the lovely people from Fellows (Louise, Mary, Stephanie - all very friendly and helpful) had invited me into the preview evening (with champagne indeed!) so I got to glimpse at what I may like to bid for to re-start my vintage jewellery collection. I still couldn't bring myself to bid on the day but have since found their online auction to be less fearsome.

This is such a lovely little shop in a small quiet indoor precinct with plenty of free parking…read moreoutside. Such nice individual things lovely to just go and have a look around in and seeing different one off bits. I have never gone in looking for anything specific to buy but more often than not come out with some great one off buy! The shops contents always changes and is very varied from old jewelerry to funiture and memorabilia. Definitly worth popping in from time to time even if just for interest there are some really lovely bits! Kind of like and Aladdins cave that keeps going!
