Just on a whim since they are across the street from me at south congress. I submitted a form for auto insurance. They actually came back with to start the policy it will be $530 and $350/month. My current auto insurance is $120 a month. What a scam this place is. Be very aware. They must pray on people with several accidents or tickets and take advantage. I haven't had a ticket or accident in over 5 years not sure how they thought this would apply to me? This reminds me of a credit card company that charges you 30 percent if you have bad credit or something. shame on you. read more

Well these guys work QUICK. They do a great job documenting so when I have to call back and talk to someone else... we could start our convo from where we last left off. They got me new insurance in like a day and made it the easiest process for someone like me, who gets really stressed when adulting tasks. I have been insured under AMCO for two years and this company has the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. Their representatives are incompetent and do not care about the customer. Every time I call to discuss my policy I am given a variety of excuses and told I would be called back within 30 minutes which never happens no matter which branch I connect with in their wild card phone system. Days go by and no call back so I call them back only to get the same run around. Last month August 2016 I received a call and was informed that my auto policy was set to renew and was assured by the representative who contacted me that my rates would go down so I agreed to renew only to find that after my debit card was charged that my rate increased although I have automatic payment draft from my bank account, a clean driving record and two years of uninterrupted history with the company. Then I was told they will not refund the $168 renewal fee. I called back this month September because I was mailed a bill that is $5 more than I was told from the last representative I spoke with. I've left complaints with the corporate office, no call back. I have called and requested upper management call me back, no call back. Honestly I do not know how this poor excuse for an insurance company is still in business. I do not recommend AMCO / REMCO Insurance. A one star rating is too high of a rating for this company. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR HARD EARNED MONEY WITH THESE PEOPLE. read more

Horrible attitude from young lady all tattooed out, with gang dress code ( the manager?). Came in after these clowns mistakenly had the wrong mailing address and I did not get anything in mail. Tried to call, no one ever picks up the phone, and no answering machine. Back to issue: What did they do ? Canceled the policy of course. I was forced to restarted new policy, needed all the papers ( insurance card) since I was renewing tags (today) Yesterday is was 80 plus degree in this building. I asked same you lady to please turn on AC, it was too hot. She said she could not, and continued. I found out then they had canceled my policy and decided to leave. Today upon my return, The place is cool , two new people on in training, one with the you lady I had seen before. I pay the new lady cash and asked for a copy of the policy and copy of the insurance card. She say no they cant. It has not posted yet . I tell em I dont care , you took my money. I was refused a copy. I had a hard time understanding, so the young lady (manager?)then stated no prob, just have a seat and we will fax copy and have them fax it over, Called corps says no, no card . you can cone back tomorrow, was my answer? I was very upset and asked for some type of solution. I spoke verbally about how I felt how this was wrong. Plus I an required by law to carry such cards and policy in the car at all times, I was told if I did lot like it, to please call the number on the wall. At this point I was even more upset. I spoke up again . I was reminded that corporate would help me from this point forward. I have a hard time understanding thins especially when I spoke to DPS , city and county PD , and they all require this documentation as proof. A receipt you paid , is clearly not going to cut it any way shape or form. You took my money and your staff clearly could not follow simple procedures required by law, in producing the material needed like the insurance card. Why would any inusance company not to be able to email, or reprint their own policy and cards , to or for the client. You have been warned. Personaly, I feel most of this was out right prejudice from the person running the show. I understand how people want to associate , but clearly this company has never evaluated this staff, their conduct, their dress, or tell them it is never ever OK to follow a customer out, to confront him or her,no matter what they think. The first time I came in ( when I originally opened account) I had to wait almost an hour for the young man to print the policy and contract, remembering back. He had to call corp, twice. He no longer works there. The girl I worked with today was great, the manager I feel had not only no clue , but a very negative attire, and negative attitude, clearly not caring about my service, or the company she represented. read more

Love my neighborhood insurance agent. (: Cierra the office manager is always helpful and has great customer service. She's always explains coverage's and doesn't mind going into detail if I don't understand anything. They literally have the lowest rates in town. read more

Ok, so I went to Amco on Congress and the Agent there "Ciara" was amazing. She knew what she was talking about in terms that I could understand and gave me exceptional customer service. There was something she needed help with explaining on my policy and she told me she was going to call her Corporate Office. She had them on the phone and put them on speaker while I sat in front of her and the lady on the phone was awesome. They took care of me very affectively and efficiently I was very appalled and defiantly will be going back!!! Love this place!! read more
