I like Relish for the fact that it serves really great food at reasonable prices. Situated at the ground floor of Ponte, next to Seattle's Best and Shakey's, Relish has pretty much defined a space for itself with regards to being a go-to for business lunch-ers and casual diners alike.
The first thing you will notice is that the place is small, but provided you call ahead, this shouldn't be a problem. The owner and servers alike are very approachable so don't hesitate to ask for help.
Relish is the type of restaurant that serves all the yummy things you'd probably have at a family dinner with your titas who love to cook. Here are my personal faves:
1. Dips & Spreads
Go for the chicken liver pâté (served with jam for contrast) or the "amazing artichoke dip.
2. Soup & Salad
I quite like the mushroom bisque because it is rich, creamy, and earthy. For the salads? Relish's Chef's Salad has just the right amount of balance in terms of ingredients and dressing. I love their signature dressing.
3. Pasta
Wild Mushroom Pasta with Truffle Oil. Creamy and rich, ( and never swimming in watered down sauce) with just a touch of truffle.
4. House Specials
Too many to chose from, but I'd suggest the cream dory, chimichurri kebabs, lamb chops, or the tofu with cilantro rice (you won't miss meat at all!).
5. Desserts
Turtle pie or butter rhum cake. read more
