Two thumbs up for Dr. Jeni! I am a stress puppy. And sometimes I get so tense my neck and shoulders become like rocks. Which not only can be painful and limit my movement - it can cause my blood pressure to go up. Every time I had a headache, I would dread treatment, because I would feel so much worse, but thought I had to put up with that as part of the treatment plan and sessions in the long run. Among the many problems I sought treatment for at Relief Acupuncture was my psoriasis. The hamburger-like texture of my badly infected and extremely itchy hand and elbow made me both unattractive and painfully distracted at all times. With a combination of herbal supplements that are sold there (for reasonable prices) and a combination of traditional acupuncture treatments, I got the full healing that I failed to get thru a Western dermatologist. Jeni's supplements have helped me reduce my stress,digest better, sleep more soundly, and focus my thoughts more effectively. Her treatment area is soothing and clean. It is easy to drift into a peaceful sleep during the treatment, even if (perhaps especially if) the problem is anxiety (which mine often is). As for pain relief, I have gotten quick and long-lasting results. Jeni has a light touch with the needles, but when I request it, she can get more "aggressive" with her approach (I just need more forceful treatment than the average person due to multiple injuries.)
