WARNING!! Nathan Ballard does NOT own a working tow truck! I called Nathan for a tow into Bloomfield. We agreed upon a price and he collected the key to the vehicle. The vehicle was being towed to a location I was no longer at and I am from out of state, so I agreed to paying via PayPal before the tow. The next morning I woke up to a text from Nathan saying he had cut his finger trying to jump my starter and he had to leave my vehicle on the road with the key in the vehicle and it would just be cheaper to have my family that was meeting me, rent a dolly and tow it back home myself. When I requested a refund if he wasn't going to tow it, he told me to suck his d!&*. Hours later Nathan said he now had my vehicle and would be arriving in and hour and a half. After waiting 2 1/2 hours we just went to where my vehicle broke down. My vehicle was still there but my key was not with the car. It is a push button start and the vehicle tells you if the key is near it or not. It was definitely not there. I messaged Nathan back demanding my key and he replied that he was actually now coming to get my vehicle and that I owe him additional money for the tow. At this point I called the local sheriff's department and reported the situation. When they called him he again claimed to have left the key inside the gas door. Then for the rest of the night Nathan preceded to message me demanding another $100 to get my key back. The call from the police definitely did the trick though. The next morning when we arrived with the new tow company the key was now magically with the vehicle. Nathan was absolutely vulgar with myself and my cousin who was also messaging him. Nathan later blamed our harassment as his excuse for abandoning the tow. Another time he blames the storm Saturday night. (I called him Saturday morning for the tow, 16 hours before the storm started) this lasted all day Saturday and Sunday. The new tow company collected my vehicle Monday morning. Nathan was incredibly inappropriate and vulgar, agreed to a service he doesn't even have the equipment to perform, and later tried to hold my key ransom for more money. An absolutely hellish experience of him trying to take advantage of someone from out of state. I'm actually grateful now that Nathan doesn't actually have a tow truck, because there's no telling what would be of my vehicle had he actually been able to move it. The Stoddard county sheriff's department did an amazing job and I now have my vehicle and key in possession. My PayPal payment dispute will be resolved soon. Requested assistance with a tire. The owner was told not to come! He arrived anyway (the owner). We were charged more than double what we should have been charged. When he left and saw the tow truck coming that was requested no markings on his truck mind you so we didn't know we had the wrong company, and this guy arrived about the same time our other truck was scheduled, he darted the opposite direction. Only one made it here today , all I've got is cussed at and not gotten my second truck yet and they are not telling me even where my truck is. Nathan was my roadside angel! I have been so distracted with life lately that I embarrassingly ran out of gas on the interstate. I just happen to coast to a stop right behind a vehicle that Nathan with Reliant Roadside Assistance was working on. He kindly walked up and asked if he could help. My car broke down Friday night at 10 PM. First thing Saturday morning I decided I wanted to get it towed to the Kia dealer in Cape Girardeau. I called one place in Sikeston but wasn't able to get a hold of them. So I decided to try reliant roadside assistance and towing located in Dexter. The gentleman that answered the phone offered Do you help me immediately. I was in Bloomfield the car was in Dexter and it needed to go to Cape Girardeau. We were able to make arrangements together where he went to get it my son left the keys in the car, and he got it up to Cape and delivered to Kia. Upon completion of the job he took a photo to show that it was complete. He also sent me an email with the receipt. Very professional. He turned a bit of a dismal weekend into a pretty nice one. Very unprofessional! I called them at 10 a.m. on Saturday and asked them to tow my son's car from Gary's Quick stop to our home on West Oak in Dexter. At about 3pm they came and picked up my son's keys. At about 6 pm they said they were on their way from Leopold which is about a 45 minute drive. My mother, who is on oxygen and my son waited at Gary's until 8 pm. They never showed up so I text him since he won't answer any calls and asked how long he would be. He said he would be there soon that he had to change a tire. We proceeded to wait so again I text to see if he was on the way, he said yes so we continued to wait. At about midnight we were still waiting and I asked again if he was coming. Again he said yes. I waited til almost 12:30 and told him if he wasn't coming to let me know. He said it would be the next day so I asked if he wouldn't leave the keys in my son's car since the window wont roll up. Early Sunday morning he delivered the car and said the keys were in it. NOBODY ever came to the door for payment mind you and NO KEYS we're in the car. I proceeded to ask where the keys were and again he said they were in the car. We searched the ENTIRE car and NO KEYS! I sent him a message which he ignored a couple times asking for our keys, then he sends me a snotty message saying "Look lady I don't have your keys and proceeded to say I was harassing him...??? WHAT? FOR ASKING FOR OUR KEYS BACK AND TELLING HIM WE HAD HIS PAYMENT? Is he serious? So, NO KEYS, NO PAYMENT! With that said I would NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO USE THIS COMPANY!
