The worst customer service. The worst "landlord" I've ever dealt with. I called to ask if they offered any type of maintenance for AC due to summer coming up & Jasmin said yes & explained they offered "summer start up" & that she would put in the request for me which I was grateful for. Until she messaged me on the tenant portal to "let me know" it was my responsibility to make maintenance requests myself... even though she offered to do it over the phone. I guess that's below her pay grade? & she shouldn't be bothered with such tasks lol this was Wednesday morning... 3 days later & there's been no update. WARNING!!!!!! DON'T EVER RENT FROM RELIANT!!!!!!! Just like prior complaints from other tenants Reliant is VERY unprofessional and don't give a crap about the tenants. All they care about is whether you pay rent on time. When asking for any type of maintenance it takes awhile usually a week or more depending on the type of maintenance. They don't notify you that the owners of the house are putting their home up for sale either!!!!!!! Absolutely crap communication. We the tenants only found out because the owner's realtor contacted us about his client wanting to put up his home for sale. Reliant works for the owners they could care less about the tenants. I put in a work order yesterday morning about the AC unit not working. The work order was supposedly processed but I haven't seen the vendor nor was I notified on when the vendor would come out to fix the AC unit. So you're telling me I need to stay home with my young children to wait for the vendor when you didn't even tell me when the vendor would come!!!!!! It's like you have to die in the house or something for them to give a crap. Heat advisory for the next few days cause it will be over 100+ degrees but you want me to stay in the hot house with my children waiting on a vendor with not date and time?! Also water leaked through the bottom of the back door when it rained the other day. Asked for maintenance to have the bottom of the door sealed. I was asked to show pictures. How do you want me to do that when water is coming into the house. First thing I did was put a towel there to stop the water from coming in. Who would have thought that I needed to take pictures to show proof of water leaking in from underneath the door. I don't like wasting my time or maintenance time so if I put in a work order that means it needs to be fixed. I don't have time to sit around all day not knowing when the vendor will come to fix stuff. On their website they only show you their 4 and 5 stars review!!! You have to be one crappy company to only show the good reviews. Honest companies will show you all of their reviews because they have nothing to hide. read more

I love this management, especially compared to my last. When they took my property, they assured me that everything would be taken care of with a better estimate. This is the first team that has had somebody renew the lease. I only gave 4 stars because I still. have an open request on installing ceiling fans. I also like to know what broke and why. If only I could give them zero stars. If only I had read these reviews before signing a lease with them. I do not even know the individuals who wrote the comments prior but I am feeling every bit of their complaints. Relient's employees are very unreliable and unprofessional and obviously been getting away with this for years! They do not care about the tenets AT ALL, but they will climb through hell and high waters for property they manage for others. They do not communicate at all. Even if you leave an email they won't respond. Stephanie says that she is the manager but I'm sure it was a requirement to learn how to communicate with that job position. Corinna has been in several emails as well and still no response. When it comes to maintenance they will leave you in unhealthy situation and then try to blame it on you. I went 3 days without being able to use my shower after they were notified about it. I was then left with a huge hole in my ceiling and it took them over a week for someone to come and finish the job. My carpet was left smelly and disgusting from the workers and they still have not sent anyone to clean the carpet even though I told them that it is affecting a medical condition I have. I think that they are hoping that I die so that they really wouldn't have to clean the carpet, answer my calls or reply to my emails. I moved into this place and was lied to, saying that the place was ready to move in. No cleaning was done and it smelled awful throughout the home. There were dirty dishes left in the cabinets, clothes and hangers left in the closets. The stove had not been cleaned. I even found someones social security card in the washer. The bottom of the cabinets looks so disgusting I still haven't used it. This is a crooked group of people. The fact that I sent them pictures of everything that was wrong and they did not fix a quarter of them. That shows how they only want your money and could care less how it effects you. I see that for a long time this company and their employees have been PURE GARBAGE! Dealing with them has been the worst experience I have EVER had and I'm a disabled veteran being subjected to their crap! I know they will reap EVERYTHING they are sowing hopefully sooner than later. They take pride in doing honest, hard working people wrong! So take your money and your sanity elsewhere because you won't have it after dealing with them. Very dishonest individuals. We had problems with them every time we communicated, including being unable to access our rental when we showed up with cars full of stuff. Don't expect your deposit to come back on time. When we moved in there was a notice on the front door from the city. It was our first warning for weed control before we moved in. The house was not cleaned and the carpet was not steam cleaned as they require you to in the lease agreement. We were not allowed to have a trampoline or playground of any kind. When I let them know about our plans to vacate the property by the end of the month I asked it there was a way we could extend 1 extra month JUST IN CASE escrow did not close in time to move in to our new home. They said it would be an additional $ 200 on top of the monthly rent, even though we had been there 2 years already. They tried to deduct money from the security deposit for "stains in the garage". After many failed attempts to speak to someone by phone, and email I went down to the office myself and received a, "I'm sorry sir I don't know anything about this, someone will have to call you back." I looked up the laws and waited until the 31st day after vacating the property to send them an email. The email stated that if I did not immediately receive my security deposit IN FULL I would have to exercise my legal rights and contact an attorney. I received the entire amount overnight by usps. We've been with Reliant for two years and they have helped us find renters quickly and efficiently.

I rented one of their properties a few years back. BEWARE! The Realtor had originally showed me the property, and explained that the owner was a rather rich guy from California and that, Reliant Property Management was just managing the property. So I leased the property, and the second year, Reliant said that the so called owner wanted to go up to 23% on the rent. Then I asked my boyfriend to help me do some research, and what we found out was shocking. So we found out that so-called Reliant Property Management is just a shell company that collects rent for a local El Paso Realty Company, and the so-called property owner (is not a rich guy from California), he is just the owner of that realty company here in El Paso, TX. His name starts with a "G", so I will leave it at that. So Mr. "G", just buys up run down places, fixes them a bit (poorly), and then just charges premium rental rates, and has his shell company, Reliant, collect the rent for him. The other shocking thing is that I saw one of his employees at a club a few weeks back, and she stated that Mr. "G" is actually working behind the scenes with other El Paso Property owners to raise average rental rates way up high in El Paso at the same time (which is called price fixing, and is very illegal). So we have reported Mr. "G", and his shell company and illegal operation. Stay far away from any property leased by Reliant Property Management. Also, just to note that Reliant (Really Mr "G") will also get started on your lease renewal, late. He will wait until there is about 5-10 days left under your old contract, until he will issue you the actual new contract to sign, (and besides the huge 20%+ rent increases that he will notify you about 2 weeks earlier with his unofficial renewal proposal, he also likes to make some strange additional requirements (which are alterations to the original lease), that he only gives you about 5-10 days to decide on). If you think about it for a couple days, and then tell Reliant that you do not agree to the new strange lease added requirements / alterations, then Reliant, (Mr "G"), will want you out immediately in the 2-3 days left on your old lease (Only a day after, he will initiate an eviction, even if you tell him that you are in the process of moving out) (And even though he wants a 30 day notice, if you want to initiate a termination of leasing, renewal with him), which is also illegal. He uses Reliant to institute these illegal activities for him (and violate your rental rights).. So if you own a property, avoid them to manage your property, and if you are a person / tenantseeking a place to live, definitely avoid them. read more

DO NOT RENT FROM RELIANT. **LOOK AT THEIR MOVE OUT CHECKLIST AND HOW RIDICULOUS IT IS BEFORE YOU SIGN A LEASE WITH THEM.** Absolute trash. They will find any way they can to take chunks of your deposit and keep it. We paid to have the place professionally cleaned upon move out. We were there, we oversaw how clean it was. It was freakin' SPOTLESS. The company (Clean Freaks in El Paso) did a wonderful and very thorough job. It was much cleaner than when we moved in! I had to clean previous tenant's hair shavings off the bathroom sink when we moved in. Ew. So tell me why Reliant hired another cleaning company to come anyway and charged us $135 for it. Super easy way for that other company to make money! They probably just showed up and then left because there wasn't anything to do. Or perhaps the realtor that is selling the house (it's already under contract! It was three days after it was listed. THAT'S how clean it was) let some leaves or dirt in. I don't know, but we have to pay for it. We were fully prepared to pay a stupid amount for the one lightbulb in a bedroom that we couldn't reach to change, and for the blinds that we're broken when we moved in to be replaced. But this was unexpected and we offered to show reciepts for our cleaning when we moved out but the Reliant declined to see them. Thanks for nothing. read more

This company is PURE GARBAGE!!!! They have 0 professionalism!!! We have worked with them for the past 7 days since we landed back in the US. We made them aware the we were service members traveling from South Korea and they could not care less, I've seen more interest from a pack of monkeys! We told them we had cash in hand, deposit, plus 1st months rent and they treated us like trash on the street. When they actually answered the phone, they gave us the run-a-round at every turn. They have an elitist way of operating and treating people, it's ludicrous!!! We own a home in NC and if they were our property managers, we'd fire them ASAP! I would stay away from this company at all costs and would give a zero stars if I was able. They are rude and inexperienced. I applied for a home and was told that my credit was not stellar, I understand this and know this, but per their application process and website, it says that rental history carries THE MOST WEIGHT. I have an excellent rental history and my landlord talked to them just this morning (someone I have rented from for over 2 years). When I had spoken to the very inexperienced and young girl, this past Friday, regarding my application, she had told me that the only thing keeping me from getting the home we applied for was that they had yet to hear from my current landlord. My current landlord called me this morning and told me that he had talked to them on the phone and only had wonderful things to say about my daughter and myself. I have always paid our rent on time and meet all of the income requirements, as well. I am not too hugely disappointed about the home because it wasn't my favorite or first pick, so I am grateful for that part. But, I do want to let everyone know that had I known how unprofessional, rude, and inexperienced they truly are, I would never rent from them. I imagine the owner of the home would have loved to have had quiet, kind, clean, non-drinking and non-smoking professionals renting their home, but I guess not. If I was an owner of a home, wanting to rent out my owned home, I would never trust this company. They will likely pick an alcoholic, drug user who has good credit, over someone whose met some rough patches in their lives (in regards to credit standing), but who is a professional and non alcohol, smoker and drug user. I feel badly for the owners of the home that I applied for, because they lost an amazing renter. On to the next home, in which my parents are willing to cosign. I actually think this was such a blessing in disguise. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!! Apparently they were KB Rentals and were the worst of the worst in rental companies for tenants and home owners!!! I rented from this company previously. Their application process is pretty standard. However when problems arise this company stands above the rest. Last year when the rains hit in El Paso during August bad, my roof began to leak. Reliant was very quick to respond to the maintenance repair and sent out their skilled vendors to handle the repair. This is a horribly run border line fraudulent company! $200 to change one lock $145 to "turn on the a/c" all with no prior approval for the work. When specifically asked for an invoice prior to any work being done they will tell you "it's in the contract so we can charge you up to $300 whenever we want". They took their time to get to know me and my needs which helped them in return to pointing me in the right direction for a home. Normally one could expect to experience gratitude, kindness and respect for so long but after my year at the property, they have been so great with answering any questions or addressing any concerns I have. Do not rent from them. I submitted a 30 day notice. However, they said, the 30 days doesn't begin until the next month. So it's a 31-61 day notice. Also, i mailed my last month's rent. They never opened or sent a receipt. So I got hit with late fees. read more

My family has only lived here under the Reliant Property Management company for a little over a month being stationed here at fort bliss. However, this company has been negligent in dealing with what could've been a horrible situation and hasn't made our concerns a priority yet. Our hot water heater malfunctioned on sunday emitting carbon monoxide that we slept thru and had emergency authorities come out and clear us on Monday. After getting sick and almost dying they identified the water heater as the problem and we still, 6 days later havent had our water heated replaced. The company is making excuses everyday for the owner and their own actions while were still going to be responsible for water and electricity without having actual heated water. I've called and messaged so my last effort is this review to get something done. At the least, we should be prorated our rent for not having hot water the last 6 going 8 or 9 days. read more

This place is still just as bad as when they were KB Reality. If you change the name of a company but not the people nothing will change. These people are rude and are not up front about anything. Timelines let's not even get started. I don't know how the expect your house that you rent to be better than when you first rented it. This is completely unexceptible. If you rent a house there is normal wear and tear that happens to the house and the tenant is normally not found liable for this. But if you rent through them they will do a white glove inspection on it. I will be contacting a lawyer and making this known to everyone. read more
