Their team handled every aspect of my client's estate sale with care, compassion and efficiency. My client lives out of country so I needed to place her in the best hands and Pamela and Norge made what could have been an overwhelming process completely stress-free. They expertly cleaned, sorted, organized, priced, and staged everything to maximize value, attracting a steady flow of buyers the weekend of the estate sale. Thanks to their knowledge of antiques, collectibles, and household items and the ins and outs of an estate sale, the whole thing was a success and my client and I are extremely happy. Beyond their professionalism, the customer service and communication was outstanding. They treated our family's possessions with the utmost respect and worked tirelessly to ensure a smooth, successful sale. I called and talked to and dealt with a few companies before them and let me tell you there's some pretty bad companies out there. If you're looking for the best estate sale company to handle a downsizing, relocation, or liquidation, look no further than Open Arms. I will always use them !

My tenant passed away and none of his heirs wanted anything to do with the items that remained in the house. I was left with all sorts of challenges and some incredibly unique items the tenant had used to run his business. Travis did an amazing job of sorting, preparing the home, merchandizing the items and doing considerable research into the value. When he was finished with the estate sale, my home was left clean, I received a detailed list of the item sold and their values and a cashiers check. Travis exceeded all my expectations and I'm grateful for his help. It was a challenge doing all of this from out of state and he did a wonderful job. Thank you, Travis.

Unlike many companies out there, they run their sales in a way that is not only highly organized but also realistic and fair with pricing. You can tell they put a lot of thought and care into every detail, which makes the whole experience so much better for buyers and sellers alike. As someone who frequents many estate sales, I've learned which companies to avoid and which ones to follow, and this one is at the very top of my list. If the day ever comes when I need an estate sale handled for my family, Travis will be my first call without question. Highly recommended!

The conversation developed because he saw we were packing to move, and he informed us of his bigger operation as an estate service. He was very kind, friendly, and honest about everything. A great conversationalist, we agreed to let him handle our estate for several reasons. The main ones being his service would handle the marketing, showings, and LEGALISMS of selling a property with minimal involvement from us. Secondly they would take care of the valuables with a dedicated sale, and see to it that everything else would go to the charity or donation business of our choice (we went with Goodwill). Finally, they would take care of the cleanup/clean-out of the entire property inside & out, prep it for the buyer, and make sure the closing went smoothly for us (a GIANT bonus considering our age & health issues). We were handed some hurdles in late 2023 during the sale period unfortunately. The HIGH interest rates and an uncertain world situation hit the housing sector HARD. That didn't deter Kort and his team whatsoever thankfully. With investors pulling out of the market en-masse, Kort was able to find several other buyers for us to pick from, with nearly no delay. There were factors on OUR end that made things even harder for him to line things up (age & condition of our property), but again they handled it all without so much as a peep of protest or reluctance. In the end he was able to find a cash buyer for us, organized & setup all the various inspections, and the final couple of weeks were a whirlwind of success! Im not sure if a 'typical' real estate agent would've been able to do what he & his team did honestly... and certainly wouldn't have been there to respond to EVERY SINGLE little question, text msg, call, etc. A great experience, an amazing guy & team, and we couldn't recommend higher.

It was extremely important to me that I find a company I could trust. Honesty and integrity are…read morekey when I'm going to give access to my parent's home and all their contents. Also, the financial aspect of dealing with cash requires the utmost in honesty. I'm so relieved to have found EstateSalesAZ! My parent's house was VERY full of everything collected over the lifetime of having a family. A husband who loved audio/video equipment and enjoyed having every tool and power equipment. A wife with hobbies and a hesitancy to throw anything away. The home was wall to wall with furniture and household items. An estate sale seemed overwhelming and we knew we needed to find an estate sale company. After interviewing 5 different types of estate sale companies which included online auctions, in-person auctions, consignment sale companies, buy-outright companies, and traditional estate sale companies...we carefully decided to hire EstateSalesAZ. We were impressed with their straight-forward flat fee pricing with no hidden costs. Other companies wanted to nickel and dime for every small item...not this company! Everything was included in their flat fee...credit card transaction fees, handling donations, garbage removal, clean-out and clean-up at the end. The owner, Joe Cestaro, is efficient and high energy. He went through the whole house to sort, organize and stage. He came with all the tables, he set up quickly and it all looked amazing when ready. He was smart about prices and researched those that he didn't know. He was personable and you could tell that the customers at the sale really liked him. He ran the sale on-time each day. He advertised all over the internet and it all lead to a great turn-out. He sold items that we never thought in a million years would sell...and for prices we never believed he would get...but he did! The sale was a huge success, almost everything sold and we made more money than we ever expected. At the end of the sale, everything was out of the house...just as promised. Walking in...I couldn't believe it was vacuumed, mopped, super clean and even smelled lemon-fresh! The only negative I could comment would be that Joe had a few equipment glitches with his computer and printer but he worked around the issues and was able to fix them quickly. I also think he could have used a little more help on the first day of the sale...his advertising and signs worked almost too good...people were everywhere! But, I'd say that was a high-quality problem to have as I was happy and relieved to see the big turnout. I am a happy customer and will be telling everyone I know about my experience...one of the reasons I'm leaving this review for others to see.

Very professional group! Quick checkout…read more Great estate sale. Definitely can tell that they have been doing business for 30+ years.

As I knew he would do eventually because he does it with almost every one-star review (there are so…read moremany of them!), Bo Patrick came along and whined that he had somehow been mistreated by clients deeply unhappy with his service. Our contract with Fidelity stated that the sale would include artwork. It did not specify oil paintings. We did ask Fidelity to auction artwork, and all the artwork we wanted to offer for sale was photographed weeks ahead of the auction by Fidelity's employees or agents. To be clear: WE DID NOT ALLOW FIDELITY TO PHOTOGRAPH FOR THE AUCTION ANY ORIGINAL OIL PAINTINGS OR ADVERTISE THEM FOR SALE ON THEIR WEBSITE. In his reply to my original review, Bo claims that "The day before the auction [my family] removed $20,000 in artwork and now you are upset because we charged you a commission to do that but that's exactly what the contract allows us to do." First of all, it's quite a shock to read that we owned artwork worth $20,000, because that's not what Bo told us at the time. He gave us a much more modest assessment of the paintings' value. Second, regardless of the worth of the paintings, that is not what happened. I don't know if Bo's memory is so poor that he cannot recall the events of his sale with us, if he is so lazy that he did not bother to check the facts, or if he is sufficiently deficient in honesty that he doesn't care about the facts. But his account is wrong. Bo knew that the oil paintings would not be for sale. We had a Zoom meeting with him and Kelsee more than three weeks before the auction in which he tried to persuade us to let Fidelity sell the oil paintings and our father's home; thank God we never seriously entertained the idea of letting him sell the house. But we told him immediately after the Zoom meeting that we had decided against selling the oil paintings. When Bo originally talked to us about the paintings, he wanted to have an online auction, so that people all over the world could bid on them. But that never happened, because we told them weeks ahead of time that the oil paintings would not be included. Again, to be clear: WE DID NOT ALLOW FIDELITY TO PHOTOGRAPH FOR THE AUCTION ANY ORIGINAL OIL PAINTINGS OR ADVERTISE THEM FOR SALE ON THEIR WEBSITE. You cannot believe anything Bo says. He whines that he "had buyers from all around Arizona and other states drive-in for those paintings.... When they arrived, they were very upset with us as an Auction firm.... You affected our reputation that day big time." But if Bo had people traveling from out of state to bid on items we told Bo were not for sale and did not let Fidelity photograph or advertise for the auction, well, that sounds very suspect to me. It is by no means our fault if Bo advertised for sale things he knew would NOT be for sale. We did not affect his reputation--HE did. If people were upset with him that day, it is entirely his fault. Bo won in our lawsuit against Fidelity not because the contract let him charge a commission (the judge agreed that it was a very badly written contract and did not redound to Bo's favor) but because, as I stated before, at the hearing, the judge allowed one and only one witness to speak: Bo's partner Kelsee Wirtjes. Please read my original review to see what happened next. In the time since I posted my original review, Fidelity has received two more five-star reviews, but three more one-star reviews. Their previously poor rating is even worse now--and it's entirely their own fault. The crucial point remains the one with which I concluded my original review: Why would you hire an estate sale company who is so disliked by most people who have hired it? Learn from our mistakes. Stay away from Bo Patrick. Don't believe his unctuous denials. However much he tries to shift the blame for his bad reviews to the people foolish enough to hire him, the fact nonetheless remains that most people who hire him to run an estate sale are extremely unhappy with his services.
