While my parents introduced me to a family friend who was a real estate agent, I had no idea how to go about finding a loan officer! After digging through Yelp/Google, I stumbled upon Meridox Mortgage that had stellar reviews and took a chance. I called Meridox and was put in touch with Trung Tran. I let him know that I didn't have any knowledge of how the house-buying process works, but he was incredibly supportive and assured me he would walk me through every step. Shortly after we finished talking on the phone, he sent me a list of items to provide for the pre-approval letter. Trung's turnaround was quick. I sent him my information in the evening and got the letter the next morning. My real estate agent used this letter to draft the offer...it was accepted! After my offer was accepted, the rest of the process was somewhat nebulous, but my real estate agent worked closely with Trung to help me through. Trung was with me every step of the way. He patiently explained how my monthly mortgage payment and closing costs were calculated and even helped me negotiate a home insurance offer. He even kept a close eye on the market and advised me when I should lock in the rate. I thought home buying would be more stressful, but it wasn't as bad as I thought because Trung made every step clear and was very on top of deadlines. From pre-approval to loan closing, it took just one month! Thank you Trung for being so diligent and patient in helping me secure my dream home! Trung was also very proactive in reaching out to me a few months later when interest rates dropped by about 1%. I had the honor of working with Trung again for my refinance, and it was also efficient and painless! I recommended Trung to my coworker recently when she was looking to buy a condo. Highly recommended to anyone who is in a market for a house to look into Meridox!! Thanks again for your hard work, Trung!!!

I cannot recommend them enough. Linh is an amazing service provider, and she will meet you at your…read morelevel. A little background: I did 2 house purchases, and 1 house sale by myself without a realtor before engaging Meridox. I didn't need handholding, because I was not a first-time buyer. I wanted an advisor who can give me an honest opinion as to pricing, knows the neighborhoods, and can negotiate with the seller's agent. Linh was so on top of things. She understood that I was busy and scheduled multiple showings for me on weekends. She mapped out our route, so we can be efficient with time. She never asked me to consider any property that was outside my price range or not what I was looking for. I was able to knock out many home viewings with her, and we put in a couple of offers. I saw a house that fell out of escrow. I messaged her, and she was immediately on it. She showed me the house, called the seller's agent, and basically convinced the seller to take my offer that was a tad below listing that either that same day or the next. (OC is a hot market, so this was an incredible deal! My other offers all sold above listing.) She was incredibly responsive, super sharp, and very easy to work with. I used Meridox as my mortgage broker as well and used them again to refinance a year later. Very seamless and easy transaction. Forget all the agents who claim to "treat you like family." Choose Meridox: the true professionals.

Review for Jessica Panzica, as well as the entire team at Kato Group…read more Jessica has been our realtor for at least 3 years now. 3 YEARS. We were a combination of both extremely happy with our rental at the time, as well as needing the perfect spot to finally put down our roots. Jessica couldnt have been more understanding about our timeline, and completely understood that even though we couldnt say exactly what it was we were looking for, we would know it when we saw it. And we did. We finally found the perfect property in Long Beach, and Jessica literally jumped into action in minute one. Via texts, emails, back-and-forths between me and my wife, she was on it, and got us in to see the house that same day, as well as start gathering info on the seller so we knew what to expect. Doing this allowed us to get an idea of how many bids were already in on the property, the mindset of the seller, and let us begin to formulate our own thoughts on our offer letter. Via her guidance, we had gone through the pre-qualification process with a lender and with her guidance, we were able to put our absolute best foot forward when we finally made our offer. Although she tried to warn us that it was a competitive market and we needed to be prepared to not be selected on our first offer, her expertise allowed us to make our best possible offer, and we were the only counter from all bids offered, and we entered into a contract. Our situation was even more complex as the day after our bid was accepted we were taking a vacation to Hawaii for a week. Fortunately we were able to complete our initial negotiations in the single day before we left as well as sign our required forms, but us being out of town was not an issue at all, and everything was being handled while we were out of town. Jessica was a consumate professional during this time, taking the time and additional effort to explain each of the bits of paperwork, offer letters, counter offer, selecting a lender, speaking with our lender regarding the rates we were getting etc. With her help, we were able to negotiate with our lender for both a lower rate as well as additional cash credit towards closing. She was available at a moments notice to help answer questions and make sure we were completing our paperwork as needed, networking with the seller, our lender and their closing team, and all the other parties that needed to be up to date She was extremely knowledgeable about the small details in closing on a home in Long Beach and LA county, and about what small items we could do to make our offer letter much more appealing, as well as help us negotiate additional funds during closing for small fixes that the seller had previously said they would not accept. We ended up being OWED money after closing, which cant be normal. With our accelerated closing timeline, we had 2 weeks to close, and we immediately rolled into our property inspection, and finalizing all our documents and paperwork. The entire time we felt like we had a real teammate in the process and she really took the time to make sure we were comfortable, understood what the next steps were, and how to make them. We couldnt recommend Jessica more.
