Service dept told me previous owner cleaned clear plastic protecting gauge cluster with some kind of solvent and that caused "foggy: looking instrument cluster. Dealer refused to repair under Ford 36000/bumper to bumper warranty saying Ford refused to consider problem caused by manufacrurer. Horrible experience. Unfriendly! I looked at plastic using loupe and saw that it appeared to have dirt/dust behind clear plastic and could have only happened during manufacturing of the vehicle. Took Escape to Packey Webb Service Dept weeks later They totally agreed it was a manufacturer defect and non "previous owner used a solvent to clean plastic that protects gauge cluster. Never take a vehicle to Haggerty Ford again. It's close to home but it seems they are looking for reasons not to repair cars still under mfg warranty. Go to Packey Webb. Much friendlier and professional. I could go on and on about how Haggerty sucks but I'll spare you. Maybe sales better but service horrible!!!!!

I am a passionate person and came off fairly abrasive because I expected to be ripped off or to haggle. But there really was no need. He was kind, calm, cool and just had a sense of authenticity about him. He was very calm and respectful. He answered all of my questions and I didn't really have to negotiate or bargain with him. He was able to really sell me a great car for an amazing price without the extra stress that you can expect at all the other car dealerships. This is where you go to buy a car, don't waste your time with other places because what ends up happening is other places will waste your time, waste your money and sell you sometimes not the best car. We talk to Tony over the phone He said it's in good shape everything's working and will go through inspection. My wife was in a very bad car cash so I needed to buy something right away comfy for her. She broke both her legs. I even sent Tony pics of the car crash she was in. I can't come see the Volvo so we hope to trust him. Now the bad, lots of scratches all the way around, Motor valves tapping bad when the shipper drove it off the truck and he park in the drive way he cut it off about 1 hour later I went to move it down to the garage it would not start back up. Just to get it started took 2 weeks with a Volvo service guy help. Things found bad - Low oil in motor just about 1qt oil sludge build up real bad in motor, oil filter clog, steering wheel 7/8" out of alignment, tires front bad and out of alignment, front rotors bad, All 4 brake lines dry rotted, Front ball joints both sides, control arms steering, Steering linkage lots of play in it, Transmission seals bad repaired, Power steering and antifreeze mounting broke leaks - these had to be replace, Wind shield fluid container crack leaks on the ground, Sun roof don't work leaks water when raining, No rear parking brakes - repaired, Motor valves tapping it took 4 changes of transmission fluid this was used 4 oil filter to try to clear out motor sludge and to lower the valves from tapping bad - this work some. Mind you the motor take 7qts of oil. Then install back new motor oil 5 freaken times total. Rear rotors had to replace, Inside door cover upper front passenger side glue on glue running down the door over top of the lower speaker cover man this sucks tried my best to clean it, DVD rear cover missing, Seats poor shape, gas cap would not open motor shaft was strip - repaired, It took us 2 freaken month just to get it through inspection. I lift out few things to. And still need work on other things. freaken had to buy another SUV. I have trucks and drag car/street to painful for my wife to ride to her Doctor's appointments. Nothing listed of imperfection or in pictures. This is not a trusted dealer buying long distance. Even if you buy local, you must have some 1 go with you who no about cars. Wanted to set up a time to view and test drive a car. I was informed that they don't allow test…read moredrives, just a test ride. Obviously, you cannot get a feel for the car by riding along. If the alignment is off, you can't tell, if the cruise control doesn't work, the brakes are spongy, the idle falters, you won't know until after the purchase. The employee said it is a newer car and not like a built camaro. Obviously he doesn't know they are still producing camaros and 2002 is not a newer car. I don't trust a place that wants you to spends tens of thousands of dollars on a vehicle but won't let you test drive it. What are they hiding I wonder.
