In the future, I'll call to book tile/grout cleaning as well as hardwood cleaning. I need to be better about having all my rugs/furniture cleaned once or twice a year as well! This company offers to repair and resurface countertops. We received an estimate from the…read morefranchisee in May 2015 after he brought hardened samples of what the finished product would look like. The samples give the impression that the resurfacing material is harder and thicker than it is in reality. The job was scheduled several weeks in advance and the day before they were to arrive, they company rescheduled due to a mechanical problem with the technician's vehicle. The job was rescheduled. On that day, the technician arrived late. We were told that it was due to a traffic accident. The technician spent the first couple of hours repairing the loose laminate on our countertops and the next 9 hours applying the spray-on coating. The actual material resembled Krylon stone fleck spray paint (which you can buy at any home improvement store or Wal-mart for less than 1/10th the cost) with a protective polyurethane coating on top of it. The technician had to come back the next week to touch up a spot he missed and clean up the mess that was left on the top of some cabinet doors and drawers. He late again. Once again we were told by the office it was due to an traffic accident, yet when the technician arrived, he denied any traffic problems. This started our distrust of the company and our reevaluation of whether this product would hold up to its 2 year warranty. The technician did the touch up, but did not remove the residue from the cabinet doors or drawers. Most likely it was b because he couldn't. If the product is really only a Krylon-like paint, then once it dries on wood, it's can't be removed without stripping the cabinets. In either case, fast forward to mid-September - the laminate repair failed. A piece of laminate that had been repaired came off the countertop this evening. We were told once the repair was made, the coating would seal it, but that didn't happen because the coating is too thin to seal anything. (it is literally nothing more than spray paint). You can also still see the original seams of the countertops (one of the claims made by the company is the product is seamless). I could have spray painted the countertops for about $75 using Krylon stone fleck paint from Walmart, so as you can imagine, the $1,200 we paid doesn't seem legit. We would rate this company zero stars, but Yellow Pages.com requires we give it at least one star to post the review.

The service was contracted with the understanding that the work would involve only a steam/deep cleaning and no resurfacing or sanding. The agreed-upon price for this service was $450, which I considered reasonable given the scope of the job. Unfortunately, the quality of the work was severely deficient. Upon completion, the floors appeared incomplete, with visible damage in multiple areas. Specifically, the protective coating was stripped away in patches, and there are at least four sections where the wood itself has been excessively abraded or sanded, resulting in exposed flakes, splinters, and uneven surfaces. In contrast, other portions of the floor showed no evidence of having been cleaned at all. I contacted Floor Pro to inspect the damage and requested a resolution. In response, they proposed to repair the issues by buffing and sealing the entire downstairs floor at a discounted rate of $6,200. This offer raises serious concerns about their business practices, as it appears to escalate a simple cleaning job into a far more extensive and costly repair. I cannot help but question whether the initial damage was intentional, designed to coerce customers into additional, higher-priced services. One of my countertop granite pieces was cut incorrectly and has taken us two years since the house…read morewas built to deal with this company removing and installing the same piece three times already and every time they come they measure,they look and push the countertop as far back as they can and every time the piece looks shorter than the piece on the other side of the stove. Keep in mind that once the cabinets are installed and before the stove gets here they come and measure to cut the stone. Originally in order to install the cabinets they broke off the sheetrock behind and exposed all the insulation, jammed the cabinet against the open hole and this company did the same with the countertop, it looked like it was cut almost half an inch shorter on one side of the stove than the other side so when you were standing in front of the stove you could see clearly that one side protrudes farther than the other side and when you stand on one end and look to see how one of the countertop pieces lines up with other you see that they are NOT on the same line. Builder, countertop and cabinet people all point fingers at each other and the most aggravating thing after all cabinets have been replaced is to deal with this people on the phone, I am always transferred to the BS specialist, for her the customer is NOT always right. Reluctantly they took the smaller countertop last week after admitting there was an error even after verifying with what they say is very accurate laser, well it wasn't accurate the first time! I had the measurements on a piece of paper taped to the granite only to have them measure again, three different people came to measure and they hated it but a week ago they took the countertop back so they could find a matching piece to be cut to the new measurements done with their laser. They hated it but they had to admit the piece didn't look good. The payback is to make us wait and wait, like if the mistake was caused by us. Rafael, why is so hard for your people to believe there was a mistake made, they took the piece after verifying that indeed it was smaller much to their disbelieve so what is the point to send a guy with laser? if you hate to replace why don't you just say you wont replace it instead of making me feel like I created the problem and I should solve it. Update: I got a call from the builder that said they want to come back and install the SAME piece they took because they think it will fit. Are you kidding me? Did the piece grow the almost 1/2 inch in a week? I have proven to your employees the piece is smaller on one side and it doesn't line up with the other countertop on the other side of the stove. If it wasn't right on day one and if y'all agree it didn't line up how is that you are going to make it fit. Nonsense. I told the builder I will let you try but if you break the cabinet again as you did a year ago February 2021 we will have to deal with this nonsense for another two years.

The Real Deal Countertops damaged trimming underneath my counter/bar and refused to repair it…read more Their claim that this was incidental damage and that I'm liable for since I signed a contract stating so. If trim was ripped how does this constitute incidental damage? This company was hired through Lowe's Co. They simply ripped out the existing trimming to attach a corbel under the countertop. They did not reattach the trim or even left the trim. I have not received any resolution from Lowe's. To make matters worse Lowe's customer service is remotely located. Not dealing with local store makes it less accessible in my opinion. Payment is rendered before service is completed. I am 70 years old and now must hire a contractor to repair their unfinished & damaged work. I do not recommend this company. They do not take accountability.
