DO NOT HIRE THEM FOR A SEPTIC INSPECTION! Looking inside it from the cleanout access and seeing that the water level is right was all their inspection consisted of. They didn't open the lid of the tank or use a camera to inspect anything for cracks or damage. They DO NOT check the inlet or outlet to make sure there's no blockage. I'm dealing with major plumbing issues at the inlet to the tank because of this! My realtor won't be using them anymore because it's not a thorough inspection like many other companies offer. read more

Here is the update. Although it was initially hard to get ahold of them they said they could come out on Tuesday and they showed up today (Tuesday) when they said they would. Owner came and 2 helpers. He was very nice and introduced himself and looked at the "crack" and explained that there were multiple lids to the septic tank and the lids sometimes shift apart and yes they need to be covered so as not to have rain water or debris going in there. He also discovered another shifted lid crack that needed to be covered as well. So he took care of the both, covering them with plastic drain tile cut in half and put dirt over that to cover it so rain water and debris won't go falling in there. I have to say that he and his helpers were very pleasant and thorough. He refused to take any money for his time and trouble and just asked if I ever needed any septic service to please give him a call. That I will do! I highly recommend this company, actually they are Reliable! Two other companies I talked to last week on Thursday were not reliable!!! Never made it out here even though they said they would get out here in a "couple" of days or so. One place Soggy Bottoms Septic was a no show. After I texted him this afternoon telling him not to bother stopping by as the issued was taken care of, he texted they got bogged down with some "emergencies" and that is why they never showed up when they said they would be out this a.m. at 8:00-8:30. They could at least have texted me to let me know they wouldn't be out today. The other place when I texted him to let him know not to stop by, said his list got misplaced so I won't put his name down. That can happen. But Soggy Bottoms could at least have had the courtesy to text and say they wouldn't make it this a.m. or today even. I highly recommend Reliable Septic even if it takes you a couple calls because they will come when they say they will and their helpfulness and concern for a happy customer will be worth the effort. read more

Had septic tank inspected and pumped prior to our purchasing a home. Recently replaced said septic tank due to extreme degradation of the tank walls. Should not have passed inspection. Will avoid Reliable henceforth read more

Prompt, curteous, knowledgeable, and very accomodating, The office staff (Gail and Kristy) was extremely helpful in providing paperwork needed to close an FHA loan my clients were aquiring on a home they were buying. Reliable Septic Services is great. We had a problem with our main line clogged up. A plumber told us the issue was with the septic. The preliminary comments were that we likely had bad field lines and the tank was full. The prospect was worst case. We called a number of septic places and Reliable was able to come out on very short notice. It starts out great- An older woman (later was told it was 'Grandma') said she was praying for it to be the main line and not the field lines. The guys came out and told us there was nothing wrong with the septic tank or the field lines, but the main line was clogged (as we originally thought). They were able to clear the clog from the septic side. They said they did not need to pump the tank. They could have easily pumped it and charged me $300+ They ended up charging me $85 (driving from Mt. Olive to Pelham in that big truck, two guys spending 30+ minutes digging up the tank lid. I would have cost me more to have the main pipe rooted than what they charged. Unbelievable customer service. Use these guys! read more
