We had to pay a $20 service fee just to get them to come out -- not too bad. Had the appointment scheduled for a Saturday (no extra charge). Unfortunately, the power went out 15 minutes before Brian arrived so nothing could be done. Rescheduled for next Tuesday and did not have to pay another service fee. Turned out the noise was from a compressor vibrating against some other metal. Brian put a rubber buffer between the two and the problem was solved. They have a 90 day warranty on labor, but we are on day 3 and the noise has not returned. Paid a little over $200 - didn't have to pay for an expensive part, and we can now get some sleep!

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this business. I purchased a stove and microwave,…read moreand after only 22 days, the stove stopped working. Before making my purchase, I specifically asked about the return policy and was told I could bring the appliance back within 30 days if there was a problem. At no point was I told that this depended on who installed the stove. When the stove stopped working, I contacted the store immediately and even provided photos and videos showing the problem. Despite having documentation of the issue, the owner, who is also the manager, refused to honor the 30-day return policy, saying it didn't apply because the stove wasn't installed. That condition was never disclosed to me when I purchased the appliance. Instead, I was told I had to go through the manufacturer's warranty. What was completely unacceptable was how I was treated. The owner raised her voice, yelled at me, and told me she wasn't going to help because it was "my fault" for not having the stove installed. Rather than trying to resolve the issue, she blamed me for a brand-new appliance failing after only 22 days and even blamed her brother for what I had been told at the time of purchase instead of taking responsibility as the owner and manager. The only time she offered to take the stove back was after I told her I would dispute the charge with my credit card company for the full purchase amount. It was disappointing that it took mentioning a chargeback before she was willing to help. A product can have defects, but how a business responds is what matters. I did everything I could to document the problem, followed up promptly, and simply expected the store to honor what I had been told when I made my purchase. Instead, I was met with hostility, blame, and a lack of professionalism. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this business.

Smartron has been excellent, thank you…read more First, I'm in California and my property is in Florida. Smartron coordinated with the utility company to unlock the panels and arranged inspection at the end. They took care of everything. We had a problem with double taps on an electric panel. Smartron upgraded the necessary panels and fixed the double tap issues. As you can see from the pictures the work is very clean and organized. I will definitely call Smartron again if I need anymore electrical done in the area. Also, Smartron made sure there were smoke detectors located throughout in order to pass inspection. I give it two stars because the guy was nice and the lady who booked the appointment was nice. For some reason, he thought I was going pay 1k on the spot to have him fix "loose wires" and $2500 to fix the lose wires with a whole house surge protector. And for 10K, I can have all the above done plus rewire "back stabbed outlets". He wasn't going to insure his work without replacing all the back stabbed outlets. Spoke with three electricians this morning who are laughing at these prices. The tech wouldn't email me the estimates because of "competition" but I think it's because the prices are so outrageous that he literally didn't want proof of them in anyone's hands. I did get the two lowest estimates that I described above sent to my email... he'd only send two out of the five or six he wrote up on his ipad sitting in my kitchen. Just really bad optics. I'd find an hourly electrician of I were you. I felt I was in a two hour sales call that I needed to pay for. The whole thing was just really bizarre and there were a lot of "firsts" for me that Ive never seen from any trades company.
