Over the last few years our Basement has been flooding. If you live in the Parma Hts, Parma, North Royalton area, you know all about the flooding. A month ago after spending two nights in a row from 1am- 6am with three shop vacs trying to keep the water from taking over the basement, my wife and I decided it was time to get a professional out. After stumbling onto Reliable's website I saw that the company was owned by an Air Force Veteran, Reliable was the 1st company I called. I also enjoyed the videos on the website. It was obvious that this was a family company with values. When Ken the owner arrived, he took the time to assess the situation. He developed a plan for us. Instead of selling us something, he took the time to educate us. We were ready to sign without getting another estimate that's how confident we were. He encouraged us to get other estimates, reluctantly we did and after doing so, it solidified our decision. It was obvious, no other company could compare. When we had any questions, Ken and his team quickly answered them. They did their best in taking into consideration our urgency to get this project done and worked with us on our schedule. When the crew arrived, they took the time to explain what they were doing every step of the way. They looked, dressed, and conducted themselves professionally. It was easy to see that the crew were not subcontractors but were trained and experienced employees of Reliable. From their uniforms to their trucks to their equipment everything was professional. They took pride in what they were doing and respected our home as it was their own. They protected the driveway and surrounding area and were considerate to our neighbors. They took their time to do it right but didn't drag out the job, only stopping for a quick lunch break every day. They video cammed and water jetted our stormline, sanitary line and downspout drains at the beginning and at the completion of the project. At the end of every day, they made the area safe and cleaned up. Even the city inspector was impressed with their work. They took care of some unforeseen extras that came up without asking for another dime. After backfilling the trench almost all the way up to the top with clean stone, they topped everything with beautiful dark rich topsoil. They even had a lot of topsoil left over and dropped and spread it in a low area in my back yard. When they left, it was like they were never there. They brought joy to a rather joyless project. On 4/10/24 I contacted COG due to smell of gas I later found out it was across Lorain County but I was asked to vacate the premises until they could check since I originally stated I had a gas leak it was not until the evening of 4/11/24 when they got to my home due to the overwhelming number of calls. What I thought would be alright turned out to be a actual gas leak from my dryer that was installed by Best Buy while my roommate was here,apparently they didnt pay attention very good it was poorly installed the service technician who came out red tagged it immediately and shut it off he said I would need to contact a professional to properly fix it. I googled places and nothing seemed to be local. As I was on my ride home from work in from of me was this work truck Reliable Basement& Drain I immediately called told her what happened she checked the schedule and got me in 4/23/24. I requested a headsup on the price so I would not be blind-sighted, at the time she could not give me a ballpark range she said she needed to talk with the guys,within 30-45min she called me back. I must say I was pleasantly surprised that she kept her word and she listened to me(the customer) being this was my first time using their services. The price I was quoted was not expensive. I was given a window of 12p-2p I was at work so I just wanted to confirm my time. I was advised that Hunter was on the way he was early and I appreciated that even more. He was extremely professional answered any and all questions that my son might have had for him. Hunter made sure he double checked his work before he left. I was able to pay my bill right over the phone and I immediately received the invoice via email and a text message. When I returned home from work I went to check out the job. I was very pleased. To be honest for me to write a review about a service or company it really has to be really good or really bad. In this case the service was REALLY good. I have used this company for several projects over the course of several years. They are professional, informative, and most importantly they stand by their work. I recently noticed a possible leak in a system that was repaired approximately two years ago. I had them out to service and they found something that was not completely replaced during the work previously. WITHOUT QUESTION OR Hesitation this company sprung into action and repaired what needed to be done. The owner Ken was responsive, and helpful. His team today was outstanding. The last thing I ever expected was an apology for the inconvenience and the fact they were fixing the problem.They stood by their work, fixed the problem, were professional, courteous, timely and quick. We originally called Reliable Contractor Services to ask for a quote to do some plumbing work for us. They were prompt, courteous, helpful and accurate. The quote was very reasonable. We then also asked to have additional work done which was also reasonably priced and done well. The initial project had to be delayed a couple of days due to a third party having to do their work first. The Reliable workers were here from 8:30 am - 9:30 pm to get their work done so that we would have water!!! That is above and beyond, as far as I'm concerned!!! They then came back promptly to do the additional work we asked for. Aside from all this, we contacted the office folks MANY times to ask questions and find out the status on work. I had a problem with my kitchen faucet beginning to drip a lot, so I called Reliable to come andfix it. James came out replaced both cartridges and it stopped dripping . Later I had to call again because the hot water was hard to turn off and on. It was very tight to operate and was making a screeching noise. I called again and James came out and replaced the hot water cartridge.. after another month of it operating hard, I called back and had them come out a third time. This time the service manager came with James . Jim was very knowledgeable about everything. I was really impressed. He showed me what the problem was and they took care of it. I rarely need to use a plumber, but now that I am older & don't feel like crawling around on the ground or basement floors. I called them (second time) because I was really pleased with their work the first time I used them.(another house) Had a blockage in sewer line between the toilet & septic tank. They ran a camera snake into the line & found a hot wheel truck stuck in the pipe, causing the toilet paper to catch & plug op the pipe. They got the car unstuck & got everything flowing again. Issue with Main Sewer line leading into house. Technicians (Cameron and Austin) arrived early, sent a camera down line, and cleared obstruction extreme fast. Had issues with 2 prominent plumbing companies in the past. This is the second time I've used their services and was more than happy to use them. They were to call before they came (if they could come) but showed up before 9am unannounced and said they never call first. Supposedly snaked the clean out drain, but the water has not stopped coming up. $190 for nothing. UPDATE: While I was in the hospital, my partner called them because they hadn't fixed anything.
