Tifinie was great with my scheduling adjustments, the location was easy to find, and most of all her suite was clean and serene. I liked that she took the time to understand my concerns and made sure to tailor my massage to my body and how it was responding to what she was doing. Her prices are also phenomenal!! I would pay more for the type of service she provides! I will definitely be scheduling an appointment whenever I`m in town.

I usually avoid chain massage spots, but I gave The NOW a try a few months ago and got so lucky finding Ally. Now I see her every two weeks and won't go to anyone else. What makes her so special is how seamlessly she mixes real anatomical knowledge with advanced tools like cupping and genuine intuition. Her hands are amazingly strong, but she tailors her pressure perfectly depending on what specific area needs work. Her energy work also sets her apart from other therapists. She has this incredible ability to connect and tune into where you're holding stress, weaving energy techniques into the physical work so naturally. When I get off the table, I feel like I've left all the heavy, harmful tension behind. Since seeing Ally, my daily pain levels have dropped significantly, my flexibility is way better, and I just function so much better every day. I hope she never leaves wake forest (but I'd probably follow her anywhere)!

When I got our confirmation text, I saw my partner had a guy for hers. I called to ask why this was and they explained someone quit and they had to have him fill in. I understand the stress of that - but to not reach out to the clients about this change and to ask before they confirmed that? They said they could change the date so we could be with two women but we had already planned this night so I said it was okay. We came in for our couples massage yesterday and my partner and I both had bad experiences. My therapist barely felt like she was touching me - it was so light, it was ticklish. She didn't ask me once how the pressure was or anything either. She didn't do my arms and only part of my legs. I didn't like the hot towel because then I was just cold after. My partner's therapist didn't even do her legs! Completely said "Sorry, I ran out of time." This is a 60 minute massage and you don't have a basic structure? It's frustrating spending money on a service that isn't fully completed. When we told the front desk she was apologetic but just suggested coming back and they would let us do it again at a new client rate - which I don't think is satisfactory for the problem. I'm a student and splurged to have a good experience and was left with more pain than when I came in. Just an unfortunate waste of money.

This lady with hands that could bend steel roads BEAT ME UP for the better part of an hour -- and I feel amazing. I've walked away from other sessions a little dissapointed but I can honestly say that the massage I received was totally worth it. I'm sure there's someone reading this who is going to say to themselves, "massages aren't supposed to hurt." My massage didn't hurt per say, but I most definiately had some deep tissue get some attention. This was exactly what I was expecting from a massage but had never really gotten the opportunity to enjoy elsewhere. As I was lying there, I thought to myself, "this is what it's like being rich..." and thinking that if I could get a massage like this everyday, it would be worth selling out. Staff was friendly and professional, everything was clean, and I have zero complaints. The strip mall is a little on the run-down side, but don't let that deter you.

I scheduled an appointment for my wonderful postpartum wife to get relief. My wife called earlier for them to delay the massage an hour or two. They rudely said they could not do that and my wife answered "okay thank you." She never once told them to cancel the appointment. My wife unknowingly showed up at 1:00 with the woman worker rudely saying she cancelled her appointment. They cancelled my wife's massage appointment without her consent or telling her. They then offered her a facial to try and make up for it... It was SoSo at best. They never apologized for how rude they were in person and over the phone and proceeded to try and Upsell her for a membership. AVOID THIS PLACE at all cost.

I did find out I was pregnant the day before my scheduled massage. Upon arriving I was told it was no big deal because the therapist was pre-natal certified. I got back into the waiting area when the assistant manager came in to inform me in an indirect and frustrating manner that I was unable to receive a massage because the therapist was not certified. Fine, companies have procedures to keep expectant mother safe. I can get behind that. What irritated me was I had them call me with an appointment time because they were unable to get their life together enough to provide me with an appointment time after waiting close to 20 minutes. After the scheduling phone call, I received a second voice mail explaining that they required a doctor's note to receive a prenatal massage prior to 6 weeks. Any Mom knows it is extremely rare to find an OBGYN who will see you prior to 8-10 weeks so this request was laughable. Fine, I rescheduled my appointment a second time to abide by their policy of NOT needing a doctors note after 6 weeks. Two days before my appointment I called just to check I was not going to have any further issues and low and behold the rep I spoke to said I would still be required to provide a doctors note even after complying with their first request. So during the conversation I requested a refund of the gift card and explained I would be in the next day to receive said refund. I was told on the phone this was possible and nothing more. After driving 45 minutes to this location, the same assistant manager informed me refunds have to be approved by the owner and only the owner AND they have 48 hours to respond to the request. So, after having a rational conversation with the assistant manager she finally agreed to call the owner, who said they would not provide my refund after their location refused services when I abided by their policy's. This place is awful. Take your business elsewhere. La Vida Massage in Wakefield is a close alternative and I have never had a bad experience.
