Now, I'm the farthest thing from a cheater on either account, but I had a weak moment when I was offered a rush interview two days away, in Atlanta. My stylist was off the day I found out & I was pressed for time so I went to a place that will remain nameless.. (unless I do another review just for them..) to have my hair quickly shaped up again. To my dismay I left looking worse than when I went in. Now as far as the other ladies go in the salon, I can't attest for them since I've been loyal to only one. They are very nice, but have never been the ones to make me beautiful after I've let 6 inches of roots cascade down my previously blonde hair. :) After the straying to the not so great place I called my stylist defeated to see if she could squeeze me in the day before I flew out for my interview. She was off, but knew how important this was to me so she made some major arrangements and got me in for an appointment. This woman is so great, she had me come to her HOUSE because she knew how much this meant to me. I did the walk of shame into her house, but she fixed me right up again. This is obviously not a normal practice of a hair stylist, but April goes above and beyond and it has meant the world to me. I have gotten to the point to where I can go in there looking like a train wreck and come out looking like a Mercedes. I tell her to do whatever she wants and I always come out feeling amazing. I can get a cut, multiple colors & my eyebrows done for around $100. If she leaves I'd follow her anywhere because you just don't find such amazing customer service as what I've found with her. April is one of the few who I've found that doesn't view this as just a job. She takes pride in making you feel great about yourself, and if you don't she won't let you leave until you do. I'm always reading where women are looking for a new stylist, and whenever I can I send them to April. She is awesome in every sense of the word and you are doing yourself a disservice if you don't go to see her. I would give her double the stars on here if I were able to. She is the best, and I'll never do the walk of shame again. :)

When the nail tech began the filing process, she was pretty aggressive, a theme in reviews past. She was rough to the point my skin was cut open and bleeding (pic after cleanup attached). My nails came out nice, but I don't believe beauty is pain. Carefulness will outscore speed with me every time. I'm open to trying another location which was closer but did not answer when I attempted to call ahead.

I had a very chaotic experience. Waited for about 20 minutes on a Friday around 3 pm. For my soak…read moreoff, they had me soak my hands in a bowl of acetone rather than using cotton balls or finger clips on each finger. My fingers were incredibly dry to an uncomfortable degree. When I went to remove my fingers from the bowl, I was told to put them back in. (I should have left then) My manicurist cut two of my fingers with the cuticle nippers. My thumb bled quite a bit and she was not apologetic at all. My manicurist switched halfway through. The second person working on my nails CUT THE SCAB OFF OF MY THUMB and made it bleed again. Luckily the manager gave me neosporin. The manager left twice during my manicure to yell and curse at children outside that were "harassing" them (they were just being kids. Knocking on the door, etc.) I hate leaving such negative reviews but the salon wasn't clean. The employees weren't nice. My manicure was painful, and they were in a rush and didn't give me three coats so the manicure itself doesn't even look good. I wouldn't go to this location. Again, I NEVER write such negative reviews but my experience was wildly bad.

Every time I tried cheating on her was disastrous until I finally realized "why bother? I always come crawling back." The woman can do it all. Hair cuts, color, updos. I've referred numerous friends to her with a variety of hair textures and they all love her. My favorite thing about her is how honest she is. You show her a picture and she will tell you if that can happen. "You're hair won't do that" or better yet, "that requires a lot of styling, you won't do that" are phrases she has said that has saved me from many disappointments.

Talking Mirrors Salon was a life saver for me on my wedding day!…read more I came in one evening to talk to Moranda about the possibility of doing my hair and make up for my wedding day. We were getting married on a Sunday (10.13.13) and with the salon being closed that day, I was worried. She calmed my fears - she said she was able to do my hair and makeup plus the hair and makeup for my bridesmaids and flower girls. We made a plan and put down a deposit. I went back to Moranda about a week before my wedding to get some color and highlights done. It came out perfectly. She is super friendly and chatty. The atmosphere of the salon is very laid back and friendly. On the day of the wedding, Moranda showed up at my sister's house with all the gear she needed - and 4 hours later, we all looked beautiful. She used airbrush makeup - and it last all day. Even after I ugly cried. My hair stayed curled until the end of the night, into the next morning! Everything was perfect. I absolutely plan to go back to have my hair done by Moranda again and again.

I have loved having my eyelashes done This is the third owner of of this business. It is family owned and has very hard working staff. You can walk in or set up appointments. I always recommend them to my friends. Monday and Tuesday mornings seem to be a slow time. So I usually try and go then since I am now retired. I was reading some of the reviews. I do not know where some of these people went, but Amy is not the owner of this facility any more. She sold out over 5 or years go and Kevin let's you know if you are going to have a long wait, and asks you to,come back at another time. No one runs away from a room that they are doing personal facial work, and they have a set price list. Not everyone understands every thing you say, but someone is there to explain it if they get confused. I wish the old reviews could be removed!
