The grandchildren were enjoying the swimming pool as they always do and I loved that the hotel supplied swim towels poolside. The pool was a nice size and very well maintained. The beds in the room were very comfortable and the room was nice and clean and amply sized for two adults and two children. WiFi and Internet worked well for us. In the morning we headed for the breakfast area with the promise of a hot breakfast. There was the typical fare of carbohydrate laden foods but to my surprise there was also a very nice selection or proteins to be had as well. Let me name a few, egg omelet and sausage, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, creamy oatmeal with brown sugar and craisins. Very nice breakfast and we went away fueled up with good food to start the day. Thank you to all the staff that made our overnight stay very nice. We will definitely continue to have Hampton Inn on our radar when we travel without our camper.

I typically hate all hotel beds. They make me miss home immediately, but the mattresses here are legit. The bar and restaurant 'The Asylum' is right next door with a huge beer selection and decent grub. The owners of this hotel own the bar as well, but it is also within easy walking distance to downtown Lewisburg where there are ample options for both food and bars if you want to explore a bit. The price is a bargain for how nice of a place it is to post up. You are crazy to stay at one of the local hotels Escape has a vacancy. However, many visitors are not aware Escape even exists since its not listed on many of the travel sites. This suits me just fine as I want to always have a room waiting for me when I am in town.
