I don't think I've ever changed a Yelp review to actually increase the number of stars, but my…read moremassages here just keep getting better & better (very unusual) the more I come. At this point I think I can honestly say (having come here 4 times now) that this is the best massage I've ever received - ever. Sylar works very hard on my knots and tight muscles to the point where I sometimes wonder how he can maintain that kind of hand-arm strength for 60 mins. (frankly, I'd be exhausted). Also, Sylar sometimes will use different tools of his trade like hot stones or "cupping" devices if he thinks it will enhance my results. I will say that you should be very clear in your communication with Sylar about what you want worked on, how much pressure, if something hurts. He's never offended or gives any attitude from feedback - he just adjusts accordingly. I used to just wince in pain and keep quiet when other massage places would go too hard (painful!) but I know now that most massage therapists (Inc. Sylar) WANT you to tell them: "little less/little more pressure please" and I say this throughout the massage (I'm no longer concerned about offending a therapist). Try this place. It's a beautiful massage studio owned by a very kind & hard-working husband/wife team.

From the start she made me feel comfortable and went above and beyond to keep me that way. While I was there I had such a hot flash since I am 8 months pregnant she was so great in getting cool water with cloths to cool me down. She removed the blankets so I wouldn't over heat and always made sure any pressure was ok for me. All in all I can't wait to go back for my second one in two weeks. I only have six weeks left until I am due, but I am hoping to squeeze two more in! Thank you Stacey!

The building which houses this spa is pretty simple, however the decor of the spa itself is very warm and relaxing. The owner, Kathy, was wonderful and very good at what she does. She has plenty of experience and a great deal of compassion for her clients. Though I didn't know anyone who had been to see Gail, I decided to take a chance. I am so glad I did. Gail knows her stuff and works hard during the session. She asks you to let her know if the pressure is too much and pays attention to your response. She's got an excellent memory, which makes you feel like you've been her client for years. She also has a beautiful, warm (important in winter!), and relaxing environment. You feel at ease immediately. She's moved around the corner from her Route 9 location to 54 Central Street (the old white church building -- look for the steeple).
