The chefs were able to accommodate my husband's vegetarian restrictions (no meat, no fish, no eggs), and we were pleasantly surprised by the way they creatively adapted the menu to suit his preferences. We loved the intimate and casual setting, as well as what the restaurant stands for--minimal food waste and sourcing local ingredients whenever possible. The food was also very flavorful. The service was also very friendly! I would wholeheartedly recommend this place to friends and family for a special meal. Thank you!

I booked this as a birthday dinner (I.e. a very distinct date) and shared the date/time, number to call, and instructions to change the reservation for my group (just in case). They did not call or text to confirm, simply sent an automated reminder email to justify the booking and charge (which was missed because we were on a ski holiday). The restaurant manager was extremely rude and made no attempt to accommodate. I tried to find a date in the future to reschedule (even asked openly what is the next available date was after being shot down when I provided suggested dates) and the restaurant manger simply said "there is no availability". Clearly I was not welcomed. No service recovery was offered, no accommodation for a future reservation was made, simply a firm message that I will be charged $772 for a dinner I never experienced because the meal was already prepared (this was a 3 hour tasting and they said all the food was already made and it would be thrown in the trash). This is not Michelin star service. They do not deserve their star after the rude, unaccommodating, and non-proactive experience they provided. Given how stern and quick to defend their cancellation policy and fees the restaurant manager was, I assume this establishment has encountered this situation before. The right thing to do was to recognize your guests' needs, offer to accommodate, and recover services. I walked away feeling robbed, unseen, and completely violated by a team that was more interested in taking my money vs. doing the right thing and providing Michelin star service. Where was the text or call to confirm the reservation? Where was your service mindset and empathy? Where was the anticipation of needs and the propensity to delight? I have lost faith in the Michelin star rating system after this. You have corrupted the entire institution by getting away with this.

Convenient to anyone staying in Argentiere and…read moreimmediately across from the train station, this restaurant feels like you're in the middle of the French Alps. Which you are! It has a locals vibe and is always packed at dinner time. The restaurant isn't fancy -- plenty of people in mountain casual attire; but the food is outstanding! We came here 2x on our trip, after a couple fabulous meals in Chamonix. Pricing isn't cheap-- we spent €100 for two both nights, with one shared appetizer, bottle of wine, and two entrees. That said the food was excellent. We had (over two nights): 1. Fondue with Mushrooms: a dream come true. We ordered one serving, for both of us to share, both nights. Creamy, warming, and dreamy. A must. 2. Lamb Tenderloins: gamey with bone in. My husband loved it. 3. Filet with mushrooms: reasonable portion in a delicious creamy mushroom sauce. Savory and filling. 4. Salmon entree: omg. This dish is amazing. Best salmon with anchovy butter. Ever. Licked the plate clean both nights. Tender, crispy, and flavorful. Absolutely dreamy.

I've been there many times in years, and it has always been a wonderful experience. The menu is typical from this region: raclette, fondue, tartiflette, croutes, salads... perfect food to recover from a long day of skiing / hiking /climbing. The wine list is also worth trying. Service has always been perfect, and the atmosphere is so nice: one wall is entirely painted with the Mont Blanc. Beautiful! The room is small though, so I suggest you book up a table.
