At the top is an interactive museum of Alpine flora and fauna as well as a great little Beer Garden. The views from the top are breathtaking, and also gives you the opportunity to stand on the Germany and Austria border atop the Alps. Overall this is a 5 star experience but 1 star is removed due to the fact that they say they don't accept credit cards. This is a large tourist destination, and really should for the price accept cards. Keep in mind when you come back to the bottom to turn your ticket back in to get a refund so they can re-use it much like a ski resort. A must do while in Mittenwald.
