She was so welcoming, considerate and took the time to actually listen to what I wanted and made my dreams a reality.

So many things to say.. first of all ladies!!! Be careful of the hidden fees. The minute you walk…read morein you are slapped w a 4% service fee for "complimentary drinks, magazine subscriptions and quality hair products " as a consumer, you should NOT be paying this, especially if they claim it's "complimentary." Secondly if they slap on a toner, a gloss or some root treatment BE SURE TO ASK THE PRICE!!! They quote you an amount at the start, then begin adding product to your hair without warning or permission. That's wrong! Then you walk out w an almost 400$ bill when you were quoted half. Not all clients are hair savvy, they have no idea that these services are extra. It's kinda down and dirty when you don't explain what you are doing to a client. I've been in the service industry forever and have lots of hair dresser friends, this is NOT the way they do business. Common ladies, be clear, be fair and honest, if you want longevity. And unless Vidal Sassoon pops up from the grave, or Chris Appleton is doing my hair- it ain't never worth 400$.

This salon is located in a community grooming space so you will enter the building (across from LifeTime Fitness in Plantation Point) and then search for her studio. I've never had to wait. Marissa's appointments are appropriately spaced so you will not have to wait. I have locs now so I go to another stylist for that. But if I continued with my loose, natural hair, I would have continued to patron this establishment. I highly recommend checking out Salon Purity.
