This Buc-ee's seemed to have a bit more parking (bigger lot). It's crazy as always, with people actually directing "traffic" in the ladies room. There were several stalls that were out of order and the one I went into didn't lock. (you can guess what happened lol). The place was so crowded and lines to check out were long. That being said, the staff is always friendly. Prices are ok (store prices). And gas prices seemed to be a bit lower as well.

I gladly go a cross the street to the Shell near the Taco Bell where I'm not only welcomed but often thanked for making the area feel safe by those that drive through. If your clientele won't come into your store because of a law enforcement presence then you may not want that clientele there. It's very well known that this establishment is not LEO friendly.

They serve the special from 11-2 or until they sell out. They provide the option to call in, stop by to prepay, or walk-in based on what's available after pre-orders. Today's soul food menu consisted of baked chicken over rice, collard greens, macaroni and cheese and cornbread for $14.99. The portions size was huge, enough to eat twice from the plate. The food was served in Styrofoam plates with dividers with individual wrapped utensils and salt & pepper packets. Condiments were available as well. Drink was not included, but since the location is inside a gas station, there was many options to choose from. The baked chicken was a chicken breast that was bigger than the size of my hand. The chicken was so moist and tender, which made it easier to chew. Gravy was poured on top of the seasoned, fluffy yellow rice and went perfect for the entire dish. The greens are full of flavor and pair so well with the semi-sweet cornbread square. The macaroni and cheese was not as moist and cheesy as I would like but I eat it and enjoyed. Friendliness like hers doesn't happen often so when I run across someone like her, she stands out. I hope management appreciates her contributions to the company's overall success. The service was friendly though I felt sorry for the attendant who had a previous customer pull off stealing $75 worth of gas without paying.
