Who knows in advance that you are going to be sick. I don't believe we have 24-58 hours notice on catching a bug and yet, I was being begged to come in and if not threatened to be charged a "no show." Additionally, when you try to call to cancel, they pressure you to reschedule on the spot. There often is not anyone to answer the phone so you can give enough notice, and yet, they will still charge you. I was over worked and became extremely sore, had to miss two days work, (unpaid). I tried to contact the office to avoid the charge and no one would answer the phones, therefore I missed the period of providing them advance notice and yet I was still charged $45 for canceling the appointment. They have two locations that they scheduled therapy at. I was sent an email confirmation of the time, date & location of my scheduled appointment. Had it in writing, upon arriving I was told I was at the wrong location and they wanted me to drive to the other location (20+ minutes away). I was not able to do so, not only were they wanting to charge me for missing my appointment, I was blamed by their staff for not knowing that they only schedule on the 1/2 at one location and on the hour an another. This was it for me, I stopped my therapy that day and have continued elsewhere. People are nice enough, therapists seem to want to help, but the policy's stated above and the lack of taking responsibility when they mess up or hurt a patient, is a hard pass for me and my family.

Not one time did they bring up that they weren't in my network. Or that my copay wasn't covering my charges. They wait over 2 months when I finally decide that I wasn't gaining anything else from my visits to send me a nice big bill.
