I started a location with Regus in Torrance and it went flawlessly and thought wow....this is easy. So we opened another location in Diamond bar and it has been a nightmare from the start. First off you can call and set up a new account with someone but they will not cancel the contract over the phone, you must put a request on line. I noticed immediately I received all sorts of charges being invoiced and called my contact and asked him what was going on. He said he couldn't help and I would have to call the help desk....so much for a buisness relationship. I called the help desk and they couldn't find my information even thou I had an account for over a year with them.i called back Richard our saleman and he then directed me to the service center person and I spoke to a lady there that noticed errors and I received a 195.00 credit and asked me to update my profile with a credit card which Richard was supposed to do for us. So I set up automatic payment and thought we where good. Then we start getting harrassing calls from Tania at the collections department about money owed even though we had a credit in our account. We tried explaining to her to look into the account for the credit. She stated I would have to go to the help desk to get the credit. Tania wouldn't help with the credit but kept asking for the money even thou we had a credit card on file and a credit for 195 in our account. How stupid can we get. I called Maria from the help desk and angry at this point she tells us she sees the problem and she will get a supervisor to help her and call us back. No call ever came from Maria, but Tania called us asking for the money again, even thou we have a credit of 195 and a credit card on file. We have decided to cancel all contracts with Regus. One last ditch effort I call our diamond bar location and no one could be reached as they where out of the office and a lady from the West Covina (same company Regus) couldn't help us or get someone to call back. I asked for her last name she wouldn't give it. I asked for an initial she wouldn't give it. I asked for an employee identiting number she didn't have one. We spent about two thousand dollars setting up on advertising with the new address and within 4 months from start to now I spoke to 8 different people from different departments. I asked for supervisors to assist and only entry level people would tell me they are not available. They over charged me several times twice for the set up and late fees endlessly and I made ever bit of effort to get this fixed. There organization is mixed and has no flow chart when then are not right. It's clear they set it up this way because its a way they make money...kind of like sharks feeding on bad credit. I have been trying to cancel my lease for almost a year now as charges continue to accrue. The clause in their "auto-renewal" contract states that the lessee can only cancel the lease through their online portal, yet when I try to cancel through their portal I have received an error message multiple times and when I leave my number for Tech Support I never get a call. The personnel at the office insist that I will get a callback and the office personnel cannot help since they continue to charge rent. I had my doubts from the first month when I could not connect to the internet and sent an email to no avail. Finally, the office staff says "Oh, I forgot to tell you that I need to enter a numbered code into your computer for your computer to have access to the internet." There was no offer of a rent credit for a wasted month. I went there specifically for the internet. I had a 6-month lease and I used the office for the next two months and realized I had to make other accommodations. I sent a termination Email, since their portal was suspiciously faulty, and the cancellation was rejected. Again, the staff insists you have to use the portal yet I have made it clear I do not get a call back for help. I know this is going to be a mess to fix and I'll more than likely have to hire an attorney to be them to cancel this auto-renewal contract that only they can cancel. They continue to charge me every month for ONE year now. Just received a bill for $2800.00, today 06/03/2023 and my contract appears as "expired". I was new to the area and the staff at Regus was super nice and helped me with every request. I really appreciated them. Also, everything was outlined and made clear. I received no surprise charges and if anything, they were lenient with some requests. I really appreciated it. Bummed I had to move out of state but I would be back in a heartbeat. The way Regus hires terrible managers and treats customers the worst way possible, we're not surprised that 75 entities connected with Regus filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2020! We had horrible experience with Regus. We signed a long-term lease with Regus and were told that we had an option to upgrade, downgrade or relocate during the lease term. Then Regus changed the terms without our consent and left us no choice but stay with the current plan. Regus has breached the contract. We would NOT sign the contract at the first place if we knew they could change any terms they want without our consent. While we called, emailed and requested in person many times trying to dispute the unfair terms which were never agreed by us when we signed the contract, it took Regus' management team over ONE year to respond. During the dispute, they threatened us that if we didn't pay, they'd forward the balance to a 3rd-party collection agency. So we were forced to leave the auto payment on for all the services Regus failed to provide. In addition, they returned all of our mails without even notifying us. We had the valid auto payment set up with Regus at that time. They said it was our fault that their auto payment didn't deduct the correct invoice amount. They also refused to refund all of the overcharged amount. Regus is the worst company to deal with. It's either their way or NO way. So it's our business decision to either sue them or move on. Walking away from Regus is one of the best business decisions you can make because you do NOT want to waste your valuable time and money dealing with the worst company. read more

I got into a contract with this company for 1 year right before the lockdown happens at the end of March, this was for a small office not larger than 100 sqft. So, I visited and use it the most 10 days in the whole year...I canceled my contract on time so it doesn't get automatically renewed (which I found you have to request this 3 months prior the anniversary of the contract). Anyway, I canceled, I waited to request my retainer funds (worth of 2 months of rent) until the end of March 2021. When I requested my money back the problems started. To make a long story short, I got my money back after almost 2 months fighting for it minus the "restoration fee" (which I understand is normal). They charged me $339.00 for it!!... for a small office that I barely use...if you can. Go to another place, not here. read more

Small business owners beware. Don't get lured by the nice offices because you will get overcharged or lied to. I needed to get my office set up before I left for a trip so my colleague had somewhere to work. I saw an ad for an available office in Diamond Bar and called their number. I spoke with Andre Adams in Dallas and he was able to get me an office for around $1000/month which was my budget. Andre said the good thing about getting in, in the middle of the month is having the rent prorated so I pay less. I signed the agreement for office 214 but they charged $2500 with my credit card (1 1/2 times the rent and 1 month's deposit). I go to the office the same day to pick up my keys (with my 2 kids) and the receptionist makes me feel like I'm a trespasser because he doesn't have my contract on hand. I told him I just set it up that day and I wanted to take a look at it to see how I can set-up. I gave my account number and he tells me the membership was never confirmed because someone reserved 214 over a month ago. So I ask to speak with the manager hoping they have other offices for me to rent. I was thinking there's no way this is right because I received the confirmation and I paid the 1 1/2 month's rent and deposit which I showed him on my phone. I ask him if I can speak to a manager and he gets David Bumstead who is their area sales manager. David seems like he wants to help. But he gave me the run around when it came to getting my refund. He said there was a glitch in the system and the office I wanted to reserve was taken over a month ago. David shows me different offices but none were available for another two months. Then he shows me one that is about $1463/month and he says that's the only one they have left. It's almost 50% more than the first office I reserved. As I am leaving he says it will be taken care of by the next hour. I follow-up about my refund the next day and they say I need to sign an agreement for a virtual office and it will void my previous one. However, I still didn't get a refund for the first office that never existed. Their corporate office says only the VP of Operations can issue a refund. Having someone pay for an office that is not available almost constitutes fraud especially when there is no refund given. The lease is null and voice because it states unit 214. I really need an office and this puts me in a bad situation. I did not budget $1463/month. I asked if they can do $1200/month if I just use the only office left for part of the month and they said no. You would think they would want to assist because of the inconvenience but they are all about money. At this point, I don't want anything to do with this company. As I was in the processing of reporting them to the Better Business Bureau, I realize their other offices have F ratings (with the exception of Lake Forest). Owners and investors need to know that the two front desk girls do a horrible job here and treat their clients rude, have a nasty attitude, and tone of voice. Especially so with their predominately Asian clientele, at this Diamond Bar location. Corporate Office information should be posted so that the clients can voice their opinion about the poor customer service, random satisfaction survey can expose the truth about this place and prevent owners from lawsuits due to the actions of these girls at the front desk. The girls change their tone of voice and attitudes for a short while when their superiors are here. We can hear it in the office because the walls are paper thin. More corporate employee visit would be good for this please and to get rid of the two front desk girls. The girls who cover the regular girls lunch are amazing, I think they are from other locations like Brea. Owners Please Look into this Serious Situation. I own a small technical recruiting agency that my wife and I started a few years ago. In the Spring of 2018 I decided it was time for me to move out of my home office and decided to rent an office from Regus. This was the absolute WORST decision I've ever made. Regus has been a nightmare to deal with. They have all kinds of hidden fees in their contracts, and do other sneaky things like adding bogus charges to invoices etc. However, the worst part about Regus is their customer service. Over the past 6-8 months, I was overcharged several times. It got to the point where I put a stop payment on all future billing from them until someone calls me to go over everything. Well, that never happened. In fact, I received that call today, months and months after the fact. They called because I'm now leaving Regus at the end of May, and because I have unpaid invoices that I've refused to pay until someone contacted me. The ONLY saving grace Regus has is Jessica who works there. She's been as helpful as she can and has been understanding of my situation. If it wasn't for her I would have likely left months ago. If you're looking to rent an office space for your small business, DO NOT go with Regus. You will be sorry.
