However, we later learned that the owner was not aware of our request at that time. After we contacted the owner directly, the owner immediately followed up with property management upon learning about the situation. When we followed up again later, the owner informed us that he had already responded to Gemma 2 weeks ago and believed we had been updated. However, there had been zero communication provided to us throughout the entire process. Overall, there was a complete breakdown in communication between property management, the owner, and the tenant, which resulted in unnecessary confusion and delay. A simple timely update would have prevented this entire situation. As of today, we still HAVE NOT received any update.

In commercial real estate transactions, buyers typically need to pay fees for extensions. We also incurred additional legal expenses but still failed to secure compensation from the buyer.
