When my original TD Branch on Lantana Road closed down, I started banking at this location, big…read moremistake. The wait times are always long, and there always seems to be a staff member just wandering around apparently doing nothing. I opened an account there last summer following receiving a promotion. It now seems the account didn't qualify for the offer, but the customer service rep who opened it assured me that it did, and I would receive a bonus. When the bonus didn't show up in the account, I asked about it and was told it would take longer. At the same time I heard one of the employees say to another employee that "you have to be careful with those promotions, they are misleading." After emailing this branch, as well as the one where the misinformed customer service rep is now employed, I received no response at all. I eventually sent an email to the customer care address listed on their website and finally got an answer. I will be taking my business elsewhere. I never had these issues at my original branch, but this one seems very poorly managed. The fact that the employees are aware of shady practices by corporate should make anyone think twice about depositing their money with TD bank.

Today my husband sat in the lobby of this branch for 2 hours waiting to get a form notarized (a 5 minute or less task). Customers came and went and even waited after he got there and were helped before he was. My husband is disabled and can not stand so he sat to wait. He needed the form as his mother recently passed away and he has estate issues to handle- therefore he waited but really. . . It is unacceptable to wait two hours in a bank. The employees at this branch should be dealt with and taught customer service skills. There are hundreds of other banks and I guess it is time to move on.

We have had our mortgage with Wells Fargo Bank for at least 8 years and they have been escrowing our homeowner insurance and taxes. For at least the 3rd time in the past 5 years we started receiving letters and emails stating that they have been made aware that our homeowner insurance had not been paid and that Wells Fargo is going to institute their own insurance. We called them explaining that they are responsible for paying our insurance and we wanted to know what they had done with our money that they have been escrowing all year!! I kept being sent from one person to the other and finally when I said I am going to go viral with this they said oh no, now we have to refer you up to the corporate manager. So he called a day later, told me he would look into it. That was Wednesday. We still have not heard back. When I asked them what we should do if we get hit with a hurricane and have no insurance, they said at that time we would look into it and see whose fault it was that we do not have insurance.??????? I am now demanding that they do not escrow my home insurance anymore. We have been doing all of our banking with them siince they have been here, including our credit cards and business account. We are not looking at other banks. Wells Fargo, you are history!!

However, I had the best experience ever at this particular Bank of America location in Lantana. B of A is not my regular bank nor is this location. I usually had to go to one every year for some financial transactions. Frankly, I used to dread going. Especially to the branch on the border of Lauderdale and Pompano. The staff there were condescending and arrogant. And not friendly by any means. I was in this area recently and decided to see if anyone could help me. What a breath of fresh air. Everyone was so polite and welcoming. Even the greeter who logged me into the computer and had me wait for an available associate was hospitable. The two gals I dealt with -- senior banker and FSA -- were amazing. Both women were knowledgeable, more than competent, understanding of my needs, helpful and efficient. Plus both had such lovely affable personalities. In addition, even the cashier knew what she was doing without explanation. She, too, was fast, efficient, and capable. Heads up other branches and banks! This should be your example of how to run a business. We have many choices as consumers and when you find a place that hits all the buttons, that is where people will show their loyalty.

No wonder they rarely have anyone working there. The last time, I had to fight to take cash out of my own account. This time, I was directed to go online to make an appointment for an account opening that would take 5 minutes- however THEY require additional paperwork so I couldn't do it online. I ended up at Chase and easily accomplished my task with a pleasant group of associates. These people would prefer to just collect and easy paycheck than to actually help their clients.

Take your MONEY and run , your MONEY isn't SAFE in this bank …read more The most horrible crooked, fraudulent Bank I have ever dealt with in my entire life . The employees at this branch are equally unprofessional, unhelpful and extremely rude . This is the 6th time they paid out money from my account to someone who took it fraudulently . First time was some one who used Zelle to take the money without delivering a rowing machine I had bought - it was reported to police . Second time was 2 unauthorized charges from a site called Shine . 3rd time some one tried to put 2 deposits at a Mercedes Benz dealership in California while I live in Florida.finally someone fraudulently transferred all my money from my checking account - thousands of dollars to an Apple Card . When I went to report at this branch the woman ran me out saying she needed to leave it was 4:15 when I arrived there we're lot of employees working no one would help me and this rude unfriendly woman literally showed me the door instead of helping me file a report . I had to borrow a phone from some one and call their fraud department. I also filed a police report. Yet Wellsfargo has the audacity to tell me it was probably something I did that this fraud happened. Police were livid and had many complaints about them . Told me to take legal action . I had to change accounts close old one . Discard shred all my checks . Deal with all the hassle to change my accounts. Change my phones change my phone company to protect myself and my family - A total loss running in 10s of thousands. I will take legal action against them to recover all my losses and to teach them a lesson never to treat an innocent person with such contempt. I have 100% backing of police as they alone have many reports from me for these crooks treating me like this . I have been with them 5 plus years depositing all my pay checks and more . They made lot of money from my money and accounts . A bank is suppose to stand by you in case of ID theft or fraud . Not WellsFargo . Didn't even have the courtesy to send me a text to ask if it was me making those purchases or conducting transfers . They gonna learn NOT to ever treat another customer like they treated me .
