Toys to play with and then leave there, what a great concept! The playground jungle gym area itself is small but enough for several kids to play on at a time... There is a HUGE open field here also & it is not fenced in at all, its completely open but it is a good distance to street & parking lot... Will def come back when the weather allows & it is also DIRECTLY across the street from the zoo!!! Perfect room for a picnic before or after!

A half dozen tables with chairs for lunch or Connect Four, water fountains peppered throughout and a clean, untarnished feel makes this recent renovation worth swinging the kids by. Street parking is avail, and being off the beaten path, the spots are likely open.

There is much more to do here than skateboarding. It is an awesome spot to walk, especially the back portion of the park away from 2A ... which is beauitful and parallels a river. It's out of the way and a good place to go if you find Fresh Pond a bit too crowded or want to let your little ones of whatever species wander around without danger of getting run over by me on my bike. 8) There's a cool boardwalk that goes down a nearby hill, but it ends on private property "no trespassing" in back of the Fayerweather Street School. Posted hours are 8am to dusk.
