No one checked tickets. Couldn't find any employees. Volume was very low. Fleas or bed bugs kept eating us up!!

This theater has really changed for the better since it got new management. The manager with blue hair, Audrey, is a complete adorable sweetheart and will do whatever she can to make your experience there amazing! She's extremely accommodating! The other manager, Kasey, is also one of the dearest souls I've met as she does the same thing as Audrey with trying to make everything "groovy" for you! The staff are A BILLION TIMES more friendly than they used to be! This place is much nicer with more promotional items than I think I've ever seen!!! Kudos to the higher-ups for letting these two sweet women run this building... hopefully your business will start picking up now :D read more

Regal location 141 Interstate Boulevard Anderson, SC Starlight 14. This location is an absolute disaster. We got our tickets, food and drinks and headed to our seats in room 13. Upon walking in there was a significant breeze inside. Mind you it was in the high 20's outside, and we all had on jackets. We sat down and watched the trailers. The theater kept getting colder, our hands were like icicles. We then went to the front desk to comment on the temperature and asked if we could turn the heat on. The teenage staff who on cellphones really couldn't be bothered said we've tried and there's nothing else they could do, and stated that multiple people have already had the same request. When I inquired about contacting a HVAC company or even the supervisor/manager on staff, they quickly said that's not their job to contact the hvac company. They also stated that the supervisor/manager "on duty" was not at the location, and they were unwilling to contact nor give out their information. I returned to the theater still frigid like a freezer. After the film concluded everyone filed out as fast as possible to leave to try and warm up before heading to their cars in the elements outside similar to the theater. As people were understandably using the restroom after this long film, both men and women came out of their respective restrooms exclaiming, there's no toilet paper! Just short of a mutiny, many people went to the desk again, asking about toilet paper. The teenagers again, on cell phones said they were out and had no remedy nor tried to fix the situation, leaving many patrons in an uncomfortable situation with no recompense. We leave, and try to warm up as best we can in the car, as we are all chilled to the bone, complaining about the lack of customer service and services offered at this location. After a few days, we go on to the Regal portal, enter out complaints, to be told they would look into the situation. Upon receiving this e-mail we replied that the situation that occurred at this location was unacceptable and a poor representation of the Regal brand. Ralf from the customer relations team said that "we may be entitled to a small popcorn if we called and asked for it"... This organization coming out of a struggling pandemic would rather take peoples money to help their bottom line, than offer a unique experience that a movie theater can offer. read more

Regal cinemas is one of two cinemas in Anderson that I have tried. It is a basic theater that offers discounted tickets on Tuesday's. Overall, it's clean and their service is pretty good. This time I did not buy any popcorn or drinks before entering the movie but their prices are average and just like pretty much any other cinema. They do not have reclining seats but their seats are pretty comfy. read more

Had a little issue with getting the movie to play, but theater refunded our ticket money and drinks and popcorn money. Got to come back later for free and see our movie. Very accommodating. Would recommend and will go back. read more

The cinema is clean, spacious with a simple layout. Theatres are right ahead with all the rooms within a glance. Ticketing window is right outside. You wouldn't want to be caught outside waiting in line for tickets one days with cold rain or heatwave. Highly recommended if you aren't fussed with opening days and bustling atmosphere. Place is modest and clean. We loved it. read more

we went to the Regal starlight theater on my wifes birthday and night manager Josiah really helped us have a wonderful theater experience. i can't praise Josiah and staff enough and it is nice to see young staff go out of their way to make my wife happy and enjoy her birthday at Regal cinemas so much. thanks Josiah read more

Worst movie theater I've ever been to. First, they're very old school. Nowadays you see theaters with recliners, couches, foot rests, heated seats, etc. not this one. BUT the real reason I'm writing this review: Extremely rude staff, it was so hot in the theatre I was sweating, no refills on a certain drink size and I wasn't informed this. Spent almost $80 for 3 people and no refill because of the drink size? I should have been told this and when I asked what I assume a manager was about it, she said well I'm not here to monitor everything the staff says to you but it's company policy. She said it so rudely sarcastic as if I should've somehow already known. Also when ordering food, my boyfriend asked about if they had hotdogs and one girl had said "well we don't have a kitchen so no." Just very sarcastic and rude. Also, the theater and popcorn smells awful and tasted like it had been sitting for several hours. Never ever returning to this theatre again. Wasted my Saturday night. Ps: every woman I had spoken to or interacted with, was so rude. The ONLY friendly staff member we spoke to, was some dude with short curly dark hair. The rest of the staff sucked. read more

I'm bumping this theatre up to a 5 because of how they handled a situation we had last night. Before I begin, I'd like to include a rough guideline of the MPAA age rating suggestions, since some people don't comprehend what movies are appropriate for a talkative goddamned 5-year old: G: 3-6/7 years PG: 7-12 years PG-13: 13-17 years R: 17+ years If this system is too complex for your comprehension, please have yourself sterilized and do not reproduce. Moving right along... A friend and I went to see a horror film, which, while PG-13, was obviously not an appropriate feature for a small child. Naturally, though, two of our local shit-for-brains decided to bring little Talkative Tina along with them. Between her and the loud whispering 30-somethings behind us who were old enough to know better, we could not enjoy the film. We left the theatre and addressed our issue with the manager and security who were more than gracious in exchanging our tickets for the next showing and comping us some popcorn and a refill. Take two. We got into the theatre which was much less packed and took our usual seats. The audience behaved slightly better, although there was a foursome of delinquents in front of us texting and talking the whole time. But after all, we did enjoy the movie and I appreciate the manager handling the situation for us. This really changed my opinion of this theatre for the better. read more

Classic well taken care of movie theater. I have been going here for about 3 years for the occassional film and the staff is always helpful, friendly, and willing to work with you if a situation comes up - such as when one of My apps for purchasing tickets didn't go through due to an error, they handled the situation professionally and still let me in. Never had an issue, cinema is clean, products offered are standard. Recommended. read more

We saw Argo and really enjoyed the movie. For some reason the popcorn here is of lower quality than in nearly all Regal theaters elsewhere. How can you mess up popcorn? read more

We had tickets to the 3D viewing of Solo, which didn't play in 3D At not time did the message come on screen "Put on your 3D glasses. I went out to advise an an employee and to confirm we had been given the correct theater number. The employee said that he would check and see what was going on. I requested that he come and let me know and would be waiting at the door. Customer fail number 1: No employee ever came into the theater. After the movie ended I asked to speak with a manager. I advised him of the situation and he said That I was wrong the move played in 3D. We advised him that we watched the movie without glasses. His response was that he and his boss confirmed the movie played in 3D. Customer fail number 2: the manager calling me a liar. About this time another family stepped up advising him of the same situation. At this time he offers us free passes, which we accepted as another family came up to complain. Customer fail number 3: at no time did he apologize. read more

Just tried to go to a Sunday night movie & the ticket line is out of order!! You have to buy your tickets from the concession stand & there's no separate line dedicated to just buying tickets. The line was so long, there was no way I could get in to the movie on time. read more

A very nice theater. All theater rooms are up to date with extremely nice and comfortable seats. They also offer a room in the lobby for parties to reserve. They now serve alcohol in the concession stand which I think is a super nice touch and should have been a regular thing in theaters long before now. My favorite movie theater around to go to. read more

Very disappointed - there was a one night screening for a documentary. Hurricane Irma was impacting some showings and was told to call theaters to check...no one picked up the phone and we missed the show we paid for. read more

Great screen but seats are horrible. The staff there is always nice and the bathrooms are clean. Just needs new seats desperately. Nice and friendly feel with lots of refreshment selections. As for all theaters, the refreshments are way too expensive. But that's part of going to the movies, I guess. Anyone would, I think, have a great time at this theater, if they would get new seats. I hope that happens soon. Not the usual for a Regal theater. Regal theaters are known for great cushy seats. But this one hasn't been remodeled yet. I'm glad too, that they offer a lot of theaters. That makes it nice for more selection types of movies. I do wish all the theaters would play more previews. I love to know more about what's coming to theaters soon. read more

Me and my wife love going to this Anderson Cinema on the hill. They have nice Rocking Chair seats. But, concessions are priced way too high!!!!!!!! read more
