Denver Downs is a really fun family place to celebrate in the spring and fall. Our family (2 adults plus 2 year old and 6 month old) enjoyed their Easter spring weekend. While I'd recommend it for older children (which is noted on their website), there was so much for our 2 year old to do! There is a playground for the younger children, cow train, farm animals, rope course, mega slide, and so much more. You can easily spend 2+ hours here doing every activity. We went during spring, so they also had an Easter egg hunt for the kids (10 eggs per child, which made things fair). We cannot wait to experience it again in the fall! read more

My husband and I took our nearly 2-year-old daughter to Denver Downs. Parking was convenient, with staff guiding us to the available spots. All the staff members were friendly and welcoming. I only deducted one star because the prices seem a bit high for what they offer. With a toddler, it doesn't take much to keep her entertained. Denver Downs features a cool slide, a jumping area, an impressive jungle gym, a couple of sand pits, mini slides, a pumpkin patch, a flower patch, BBQ food, a bar, and a funnel cake stand. Our daughter was particularly drawn to the pumpkin patch. It seemed a bit small, possibly because we visited in mid-October around 4 PM. However, she was absolutely fascinated by the pumpkins. We may consider coming back when she's older and tall enough to enjoy the bigger attractions, like the larger slide, jumping area, and the big jungle gym. read more

It's a little pricey but it was definitely fun. Something for all ages once you get inside. They were rope swings, climbing walls, corn pits, mini train rides, huge play area for toddlers, and tall slide to name a few. There were several places to eat food. There were pumpkins and mums for sale. Plenty of out houses if needed. Also, there was a gem digging area for an additional price. You have a chance to see pigs, goats and other farm animals up close. Live music was playing. It was a very festive atmosphere. It's a great way to spend the day for the whole family. read more

There's no way to give this place justice with words, even the pictures pale in comparison to the experience I kept waiting for the catch, the downside. Nope. From the time you get there you are in awe of what's going on. The employees, the activity choices, the hands on experience with zip lines, slides, the coolest bubble making thingy, hippity hop corral, pig races, tractor ride, cows, goats, bunnies, corn maze, slides, the coolest inflatable trampoline on steroids I've ever seen, and it's adult and child friendly. the bbq, and the guy keeping the dining area clean by the bbq place that day was polite helpful and professional. Saw the man who called the pig races later on and he stopped and talked to us Just a great experience from start to finish with more things then you can imagine to do and if you do them all You have spent 6-8 hours doing it. Me my daughter son in law and two grand kids and we all had a blast, it's was amazing. And a fantastic group of people pulling it off all day long!!! Denver Downs is a definite for kicking of the fall and holiday festivities! We visited on Halloween and had a wonderful time. The funnel cake was hot, the beer was cold, and the boiled peanuts had just the right amount of salt. Initially we were taken back a little by the cost of some of the activities after a steep admission fee, but soon discovered there was plenty to do without the extra costs. The pig race was certainly entertaining, and they did a great job involving the children. We ended the evening with the children's costume contest and the young host unveiled a hidden talent of beat-boxing while the judges tallied their votes. Hopefully he'll get discovered as that talent should not go unnoticed! read more

My kids (2&4) and I had a nice time. Admission included lots of play areas, a pig race, corn maze, live music, animals to look at, a little sunflower patch, and bonfires. Pumpkins were 0.70$ per pound- we each picked out a pumpkin and they were about 8.50$ each. Every area, including the pumpkin patch, accepted credit cards. My four year old was obsessed with the candy cannon. We'll definitely be back. read more

We had a fantastic time at Denver Down farm. Everything is beautiful, and everybody was super friendly. My only issue is that it's an expensive experience for a family. Everything cost so be sure to take extra money (aside from cost of admission). Maybe it's not something you can do all the time, but it's definitely something you'll want to experience. Had a blast at this farm! They had piglets and calves which was totally my highlight of this trip, they were sooo cute. There were so many activities and photo ops there, the sand pit,hay bales you can play and swing over, corn pit, bouncing pillow, animals to see/feed, live music, tractor ride, pumpkin picking and so much more! It is well worth the money for the amount of things you can do. I love that they have a large shaded area for people to sit under and relax since it can get hot out. There is also a little fenced in area with play houses which I loved, my only complaint was that it did not look as if it was cleaned in a long while one of them had stagnant muddy water all in it and a mushy corn dog on the ground but other than that it was fun! read more

Perfect age for a 3 year old. Our son loved this place. Family fun. Lots of swings, slides, play areas, cute farm animals, hayrides, kiddie tractor rides, good hours of operation. Lots of play in corn and hay areas that are creative. A fun corn maze for all ages. There is food and drink available as well for a reasonable price. We had a pretzel with cheese and diet soda. Our teen had a good time here with friends as well. Music and information plays constantly in the background. Pumpkin patch as well. I would recommend for families. read more

We were very disappointed in Denver Downs Farm. All advertisement is very misleading. Extremely overpriced. I love fall and fall activities and was so excited to go but left in a completely different mood. This place is only worth what you pay if you have small children. We paid almost 18 dollars per person to get in (which would have been ok if there was plenty to do for those without small kids). Anything that could have been fun for older kids and adults cost extra on top of what you already pay to get in. 1. Gold mining (extra charge) 2. Pumpkin patch (extra charge) 3 live music (was none when advertised there would) 4. Hayride (3 min ride went in circle in open field) We basically paid 18 for a mediocre corn maze.. NOT WORTH IT UNLESS YOU HAVE SMALL KIDS!!!!!!! Entrance cost should either be lowered if they are going to charge more once you get in or only charge to get in and have all activities inside be included because I feel that we basically got scammed to get in the door only to find nothing much to do. It cost our family of 8 $140 to get in today. That's a lot of money wasted to get inside and have very little to do. My review is strictly based on hosting a party at Denver Downs. I have not visited as a guest to their playground or corn maze. At first I thought hosting my sister's baby shower at the farm was going to be a pleasant experience; I had to suddenly change the date of the event due to a family emergency and was accommodated without any issues. Unfortunately, that was the only positive part of the entire experience. **Make sure you inform the people you've invited that the farm charges the $15 admission price to all guests (including you, after paying $60+ to reserve the tent)!** While I certainly understand this, I called to confirm and got an attitude from someone that said "well yeah, did you think we could let everyone in for free?" Obviously I did not think this, I was simply calling to ask because their website says the party guest gets free admission-- I wanted to make sure it was "guest" and not "guests". Upon arrival, we set up and everything was fine. My sister arrived and they were going to CHARGE her admission. I stated that their website says the party guest gets in free, and they were ready to contest that because it was a baby shower and not a birthday party. Sorry, but no. I paid the SAME price for the tent reservation for two hours that someone would pay throwing a birthday party. They reluctantly gave my sister free admission, and then with attitude asked me if I'd be paying for her husband's admission. It was a hot, busy Saturday, but that's no excuse to be so grumpy towards people who have paid a good bit of money to be hosting their event with you-- especially knowing that they're bringing in more people! I don't recommend having a party with them. I noticed that they host weddings as well so I'd make sure they won't be charging admission to your wedding guests, either. They can't be letting everyone in for free, after all. read more

For years, every fall my family has visited Denver Down Farms. Every year we have a great time! Our kids were small when we first visited years ago. Now they are older and still enjoy it and still ask "When are we visiting Denver Down Farm this year?" By far, no matter how old, the most fun we have is the hay barn! Who doesn't love swinging on the ropes and dropping into the giant piles of hay!?! The giant jumping pillow, corn maze and haunted exhibit add to our fun. Me and my friends were extremely disrespected and treated very poorly by staff. When we paid for only one specific attraction (that WE misinterpreted) we did not end up attending that ONE specific event. All we wanted was either a refund or an explanation of what could've been done differently. After browsing through the Denver Downs Farm website, we headed over from the Clayton, GA area. Although my 11 year old son and I had a fine time, we both wished we'd driven to west to Dawsonville instead. The reason? It's impossible to get 'lost' in the corn maze because the corn plants are knee high...at best. Maybe that's the way the most corn mazes are - if so, then totally discount my review. I've only been in one other maze (Uncle Shuck's, a few years ago), and we had to climb ten foot towers to get a bead on where we were. So, this is what we were expecting. In fact, as we pulled into the parking lot, my son said "what a great kiddie maze." Little did we know, that was "the" maze. That said, the maze itself was fine if you don't mind being able to see where the next stop is. Even though the corn is only knee high, it's still hard to figure out which paths to take to get to it (unless you cheat and walk through the corn - after all, you can always see where the next target is). We followed the rules - it took about an hour to complete the course. Plus, there were a few other nice things to do - climbing and running over lots of huge bales all lined up, playing in huge boxes of corn (think gigantic sand boxes filled with corn), and taking a hayride. If you have little kids, this would make for a great afternoon of fun. But, if you're looking for a maze you can't see over, this isn't the place. read more

We went to Denver Downs today and it was a blast! The kids loved all of the activities. I went with my 5 nieces and nephews. They range in ages from 5-13. From jumping hay bales, petting animals, swinging on ropes, playing on the inflatable pillow, zip lining, and shooting corn, they stayed busy. The entire family enjoyed the corn maze and going on the tractor ride. We brought a picnic lunch and there were plenty of tables where families could eat. Photo opps were everywhere and I got lots of good pics. The place was packed, but it's so spacious, you couldn't really tell. Good, clean, family fun. Was a little pricey for adults considering there's not much for us to do. I recommend getting there right as they open to do anything that requires you to wait in line. We got all of that done in the morning before doing the "family" stuff. Overall, a fun day for everyone. We will certainly go back. read more

We live close to the farm and so we drive by almost every day. I looked into the fall corn maze a couple years ago and thought the price was too high for starting at age 2. But, as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. Now that my kids are 6 and 9 we decided to go to the farm this year. We had a great time. We went first thing Saturday morning. The kids loved it all. The corn maze, zip line, "corn rollers", jumping pillow, hay jump, and hay ride to name a few, kept the kids busy all day. With in and out privileges, we went home for supper and returned in the evening for more including the smores' bonfire (smores additional charge). Otherwise, everything was included. If you look at the ticket price ($14) from the perspective of a one day pass to an amusement park and compare it with what those typical prices run, it's really a good deal. I would say, it's probably more a venue for elementary aged children rather than older kids. And yes, we may just be back again next year.... read more

Was overall disappointed in this trip. Advertised as a pumpkin patch and corn maze, along with other activities, it's basically an oversized kiddie playground. The corn maze is impressive, but it's easy to get bored quickly with trying to find your way out. Our hay ride was piloted by the owner of the farm, who regaled us with tales of woe about the rainy season and how bad the pumpkin crop this year was. Yet that didn't stop him from charging a $12 admission fee despite the fact there were very few pumpkins on the patch. Skip it this year and hope for a less rainy season on 2014. read more

What a great experience! We came from Charleston and visited Denver Downs for the corn maze extravaganza. This event was well run! Very friendly staff and lots of fun activities for kids of all ages. I felt completely at ease with the kids enjoying their time on the premises. They were so sad when it was time to depart. We visited Denver downs farm for the 1st annual Brewery and the feast. The tickets that we purchased were134.00 for two. We were promised unlimited bbq and craft beer tasting. When we arrived they told us that was over with. We asked to speak with someone over the event. We spoke with Ron who gave us his email and promised us he would make it right because they had more people show up than expected. He emailed us one time and said would get back to us within the week. We haved not heard from him since. It has been over a month. I will never visit this farm again and just want to let people know that these people are not very honest. read more
