The plus to this theatre is you can bring your own water. The place is older. The bathrooms are in need of an update. The screens seemed huge to me. The room we saw the movie in had you enter from the back and it was a slight incline down to your chair, no stairs. I don't know if they are all like this. But I was thrilled with the accessibility to your seat. Recliners and tv trays for the seats. I disliked the popcorn. It's all in one big container and it's a free for all to go and fill your own. UPDATE 9/15/2022 Nice job on the remodeling and improvement of the now Easley Premiere Lux 8 movie theater. Online purchasing of your movie tickets, 3 places to print your tickets once inside the theater. New drinks concession, but especially the reclining seats with the snack table and cup holder. Coming from Los Angeles we were spoiled with reclining seats and more. But we checked the regals cinema in Cherrydale and that was disappointing because it had a constant buzzing sound throughout their cinema and in the screening room. But let's get to the point, Easley cinema was fantastic and it reminded us of home. Although there is no Dolby atmos theater rooms but it makes up for it by having awesome customer service and unlimited popcorn and soft drinks. Also, the reclining seats were comfortable and the aisle between rows had ample room to comfortable get up and use the restroom or go to refill your popcorn/drinks. This was definitely well thought out and not greedy like most theater which try to pack as much seats into one screening room. We definitely found our regular movie going spot. read more

Now Premier Cinemas. Went to see the New Avatar 3D. Both recliner seats & cushions were broken and uncomfortable. The sound was low quality and the image seemed as if the projector was burned out or something. Very off and low quality. Everything was so bad that we left and got a refund about 15 minutes into the movie. The only reason this isn't one star is because everything appeared to be very clean, and the staff was nice. read more

Do not go see Avatar 3D here. As another reviewer mentioned, there is something wrong with the projector or film. It is terrible that they are running it...it is unwatchable. We recently visited Easley Cinema to see the new Star Wars movie. We chose this place because it's cheap ($7 tickets) and was conveniently located. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of everything- bathrooms, floors, concessions area, and theater itself. The staff I interacted with were nice, too, and the waits were not long (we bought tickets online which helped). We expected the theater to be packed on New Years Eve but it really wasn't. Such a treat! Cheap tickets, and a clean and nearly empty theater! I will definitely go back for future movies. I took myself on a movie date ! I went to the matinee which started at 1 pm . I wanted popcorn but since I was alone I knew I couldn't even eat a quarter of the big bucket. The wonderful cashier told me I could get a kids tray which includes a drink and a individually wrapped cookie or fruit snack. It was perfect! I brought my daughter the cookie and she loved it. The seats are very comfortable and the theater was cool, felt great to me but some made need a jacket. So for under $15 total I had a great self date and will be going back soon. read more

I don't feel like they do anything when there are people being disruptive during the movie. Talking on their phone or to each other so loud to the point it's heard over the movie. I went to get someone and all they did is walk up and down once then left. I used to enjoy the experience of going to the movies. Easley Cinema has vastly improved over the years to the point that I am no longer scared to use the bathroom here or worried that I will leave the theater with crabs! It is now a very nice place to catch a movie. I am not sure if free popcorn refills is actually a thing or not, but I definitely appreciated it.... read more

Great location, easy and plentiful parking! Prices are better than Greenville and for us, much closer. Since a major renovation (completed within the last 12-18 months) the leather like seating is roomy, comfortable, and best of all for me, rocks a bit. Stadium slant gives great visibility, and the staff has always been very nice. The bathrooms are clean and well-kept. Our new favorite! read more

It's really a shame I have to give this place one star. The problem isn't with the theater they have remodeled and it is really nice now. The problem is the people this theater draws. They just are a lower class of people they are always acting crazy making noise roaming around the theater. The staff doesn't patrol the movies so you could literally be doing anything in the movie and no one would know. Unfortunately Easley has been on the decline since the super Walmart was built. It has done nothing but attracte trash and make what was once a quiet nice town horrible. Have been going to this theater since I was a kid and won't be going back. read more

I haven't been to this theater in years because it was uncomfortable and most of the time gross. However I was hearing fairly decent things since the remodel and decided to go this past week to see Creed II. I was semi impressed with the self serve aspect except that the DIY ticket kiosk was out of order. The concession line moved fairly quickly. Popcorn was not the freshest I have ever had but it was ok. Like the fact that I can control butter content. Seats were better than I expected! Went to ladies room and it's AWFUL! STILL AWFUL! You spent all that renovation money and did no improvement on the bathroom. One dryer in a very non user friendly area. Floors are gross. No towels or tissue to speak of. Doors won't lock properly. Just bad. Really bad. When I told person at counter about ladies room needing attention, her reply "We will try to find someone to go in there." read more

My better half and I live in Easley and frequent this theatre several times a month. The staff are always courteous and the theatre is clean. We were not sure if we would like having to get our own popcorn and soda (it is self-serve), but we actually prefer it now to having someone get it for us. Terrible Experience! Went to see The Visit tonight on my daughter's birthday. We arrived early, got popcorn and sat down. Everything was fine until these college age boys arrived just before the movie began. They were talking loudly and shining their bright phone lights on us. Then began throwing popcorn on us. We got up to move away from them and I went to tell the manager, "Mr. Hughes" about it. A little while later a girl came up to where we were sitting asking us who was throwing popcorn. I pointed them out to her and continued to watch the movie. Shortly after that, here comes quarters flying from the back of the theatre and landing right in front of us. As we got up to leave, these jerks were staring us down. I explained to the manager what had happened and he said that he asked the boys about it and they said they didn't have popcorn! So I told him what they were doing now and he suggested that my wife and our daughter should leave! He laughed in our face and said we couldn't prove who it was that was throwing things at us! He was very rude! We will be calling the corporate office to let them know how terrible we were treated and will never see a movie at an REI theater again. read more
