Dirty seating at theater, very dirty and they feel like they're moving and crawling, causing itchiness, the seats are disgusting

I always feel extremely itchy when I sit in the cloth seats, it's every time I go, very gross. Everyone that works there is always very nice and polite. My only issue there are the dirty seats, UGH.... read more

Went last night to see Buzz lightyear really enjoyed the movie. The staff was very friendly when I came in and happy to direct me to my theater. What grinded my gears? They have a limited food selection right now due to COVID and the food is expensive no surprise there. Ok, Here's the part! they served popcorn in these thin paper bags and they want you to pay a ton of money for a tin. They claim they have a shortage of trays. Although I saw no shortage behind them. asked for a tray because butter was dripping the gave me this incredibly small plastic tin which wouldn't cover anything, they said they couldn't give me anything else this is what you get for free. because I would have to pay for anything more. I was very upset about this as I love extra butter popcorn and so now the popcorn is dripping all over my clothes. I requested from several staff to please get a tray and they all said they couldn't unless I pay. had to grab a bunch of napkins and still made a mess. The theaters were clean and the seating was well lit. They have the standard folding chairs not the new recliners some more updated regals do. but it's very clean and still somewhat comfortable. read more

Seats are not that comfortable. Even if you pay premium for the RPX theater they are not good. Very tight, and they squeak. Not worth it.

I don't have any problem with the movie theater. I went there yesterday and I going back today. I don't mind the movie seats I feel comfortable in them. read more

Catching up in some reviews and realized I forgot to write up Regal Cinemas. Wifey and I were in Salisbury last May for my daughter's conference track meet and decided to take in a movie (A Quiet Place) during the down time. Theater was clean, ticket sales was fast, plentiful parking, popcorn was good (though, like any theater it was ridiculously expensive), and the movie had no issues. I'd go back to this theater for sure. read more

WAY overpriced for really uncomfortable STADIUM seats that are way too close to each other. Save your money and go to Flagship instead.

Im one of the lucky ones who happened to get a ticket of Avengers Endgame first screening. I was in Salisbury and I watch it in Regal. That's the first mistake I did. The price I paid for the seat doesn't commensurate the service. The theater is old, the assign theater to me was warm, the seat is NOT a lounger and the price of snacks are little bit expensive for the nature of the cinemas. I'll be paying the same price on Cinemark (standard) and I'll get more bang for my money - lounger recliner and cold theater. The stars are for the staff and cleanliness of the cinema. read more

Most theatres are upgrading to the comfortable seating and recliner, but this one is not. The prices are what you'd expect from a premium theatre however the chairs are super small and uncomfortable, no option to recline and no heated seats like many movie theatres have nowadays. The fabric on the seats is very scratchy and it just doesn't make for a very comfortable movie watching experience. At that point I'd rather just watch movies at home. The movie theatre in Milford,DE has very comfortable reclining and heated seats, a tray table to hold food, and even a bar. It's almost worth the trip to drive there. I hope they keep up with the times and upgrade their options at Regal Salisbury soon! Also, there's way less commercials at Milford theatre. When you pay so much to see a movie you should have to sit through 20+ mins of commercials. read more

Literally the only movie theater within miles and miles, not the best one but can't really compare it with a recliner one, the place will always be packed since there's no other one to go to, so you'll always be next or behind or in front of a bunch of little dude bros "being funny" the entire time, restrooms are clean and so are the auditoriums, staff was friendly so overall it was what you look for regarding movie theaters read more

This is my favorite theater for watching something big in... the RPX is well worth the money because the sound is a big part of any movie. I'm taking away points (1 star) here because its only been out one week and they bumped my beloved Spider-Man from the RPX for a cheesy comedy. Come on, epic movies like Spider-Man should be in the awesome sound theater. They better not do this with the X-Men. Prices on food is still high but getting a cheese burger is pretty nice when ur hungry for real food. They honor my military discount all the time which I love ;-) read more

Went to see the movie Helen Believe last week. After several minutes had passed from the show time and nothing was being played on the screen, a customer had to go notify staff that nothing was playing in our theater. They then started the movie but it had no sound and wasn't started from the beginning. Customers then had to go notify employees again about the issue. The manager came in and apologized to everyone in the theater and said refunds would be given but when I contacted regal about that refund I was told they were unable to give me a refund. The amount of money they charge for tickets ($16 per person) is ridiculous considering the extremely poor quality of service at this theater. read more

We received a digital gc for Christmas and went to see Plane yesterday. not sure of what I was doing. I gave the girl at the register the card and showed her my coupon on phone and asked her to help. She was one of the rudest young ladies I have ever met with her words and actions. Evidently I was bothering her and holding her up with absolutely no one waiting in line behind us. Now for me to tell her how rude she was she really had to push me to my limit. Obviously Regal Cinema needs to train their employees on 101 customer service. won't be visiting there again!!! read more

It's really going down hill. First, they don't always get the latest movies in. I was expecting one or two in particular that came out recently to be there and have yet to see a showtime for them. Second, they changed the popcorn size of smalls to much smaller. I asked for a small and the guy made sure to show me this time what a small looked like, which has never happened before. They probably either did this because they are facing blowback now at the smaller sizes (I'm sure not a cost reduction though) or to make you want to spend $1 more just to get a medium. The theater itself is dated and not that comfortable. The independent theater in OC was much nicer the one time I went. The absolute worst part is that I do yearly unlimited, which I will probably stop when this year is up, and they charge me the highest level subscription even though the closest other Regal Theater near me is 1 1/2 - 2 hours away so I have no other options. read more

There are times I go and I absolutely love it! Staff is friendly and make my outing enjoyable. Then there are others you can tell the staff is stressed or just not into their job. . Tonight was one of the good nights. A young man named Connor was working. He's always so upbeat and friendly! Great customer service means everything!! read more

Tried calling them with an issue. Telephone connects to them but shortly afterwards I get disconnected. Additionally, business must be pretty bad since their prices are so high and my three children cannot go unless I do. A bad way to make money. read more

Still stinging from the ticket prices. We were visiting family is Seaford, DE and needed to kill about 5 hrs. My kids wanted to seet he Hobbitt and I discovered that this was the closest theater. I think it ended up being about 30 miles away from Seaford. Place is clean and nice. Got an $8 popcorn (ouch). The movie picture was great, the sounds was great, but the $$$ are crazy. Pushing me more and more to buy a bigger tv, improve my sound, and just stream it or rent it. read more

This is a nice movie theater. I am so thankful to have something like this on the Eastern Shore. They typically have a great movie selection. The RPX is amazing. It's always clean. And the staff is friendly. Granted, no reclining seats, but at least the current setup is comfy, high-backed rocker seats. Regal Rewards and the self-service kiosks and the smart-phone app have made it even more pleasant to see movies in Salisbury. So why didn't I give this 5 Stars? I really wanted to. But there is one factor that literally made me drop them by 2 whole stars. THEY ARE SOOOO EXPENSIVE. COMPLETELY OVERPRICED. Because their closest competition is in Annapolis, they can charge whatever they want, and people will either pay it or stay at home. Thank God Sam's Club sells ticket vouchers for significant savings (I wish they had vouchers to offset the $8 small popcorn). And if the high prices are not bad enough, last year they changed the times of their matinees. When I was growing up, a matinee was any show before 6pm. Now, a matinee is any show before 3pm. I went to a movie with a friend at 3:05pm and paid evening prices. Most movies only have one lower-priced matinee option, usually around 1pm. Newer releases on multiple screens may have more. It's a pretty sneaky way of price-gouging the public. I hope AMC gets wise and builds an upscale theater in Salisbury soon. Regal needs some competition to keep them in check. read more

Well, my family and I were on vacation this past week. Weather was iffy so we decided to go see cars 3. We went with my Mother, myself and the two little ones ages 5 and 9. Don't get me wrong, cars 3 was an amazing movie. One of the best kids movies I've ever seen. But wow this theatre was very expensive. 41 dollars for my mother, myself and two little ones. Wow. And then three small sodas was 17 dollars!!! Money doesn't grow on trees regal cinemas, especially where we live in CT. The whole theatre was nasty, the floors were very sticky. Terrible time. Do not ever got to this theatre. Ever ever. read more

The theatre going around. Hard seats. Dirty floors. Small cupholders. Way too many ads and commercials. Not much to pick from in snack area. More kernels than popcorn in my tub.Very expensive for the low quality of the place itself. Will not be going there anymore. Had to give it a one star. My preference is zero stars. read more

I've been living in Austin, Texas for over six months now. Seriously, it's great-- delicious BBQ, awesome tacos and the weather, oh, the weather. But one thing that I do miss is my beloved Regal 16. Remember the good times, Regal 16? When I'd go on a Friday night and delight in wading through the 16 year old gangbangers getting ready to cop a feel in the Saw IV screening they were about to get into? Or how, I don't know, since you bought and closed down the only other Salisbury theater long ago (when you were the Hoyts Cinema chain) there is no competition for thirty miles each way, enabling you to charge higher ticket costs than most major American cities (close to or at $10), comparable to New York City prices? I mean, last week I went to the scuzzy Galaxy theater here in Austin and only paid $7.75 for an evening showing. Heck, I only pay $8.25 at the legendary Alamo Drafthouse where I can get food and beer brought to me. I'll miss getting ripped off because you're the only game in town! Oh, and the movie selection. Remember how some weeks during the summer you'll only actually be playing five movies across your sixteen screens? Really, totally great. I hate living in a town whose selection in what to see is rivaled only by NYC, LA and Chicago. I'm checking Fandango now-- really packin' em in for The Day The Earth Stood Still, aren't you? Can't imagine anyone in Salisbury, a town with ONLY two Starbucks, might want to see Milk or Frost/Nixon or Synechdoche, New York-- maybe they wouldn't be blockbusters, but there'd be more people in there right now than the fifteen stragglers watching alien Keanu. Oh, but I kid, I know you bring good movies in eventually. You know, how you like to hang on to the critical favorites right until they win an Oscar? Strategery. read more

WTF?!? $26 for two tickets. No wonder this place is like a ghost town. Nice enough theater but Christ that's expensive. This is not a modernized establishment. Not 3D or motion activated just regular old theater. Not even reclining seats. Skip it and wait for the redbox read more

I wanted a pizza, they were out of pizza. I paid a lot of money to see a movie, they should have all food options available, ESPECIALLY if they're listed on the menu. Also, you have to wait outside to buy a ticket, which was a shitty idea for East coast weather. read more

Bought tickets for Breaking Dawn several days ago, got to the theater 1 hour and 45 minutes BEFORE the start of the movie. Patiently waited to go in, I as third in line, and the rest of my party, 5 more there with me. Just before we were allowed to go in, the Manager escorted a very large party of women in before anyone else. When asked, we were told, they had arranged this. Excuse me, but I had no idea you could make this arrangement, I'd be more than happy to make such an arrangement. I do intend to contact the main company and complain. That was unfair to everyone who was waiting in line, their turn, and many of us were there as part of a larger party. Sorry, but I believe in waiting your turn. That was inconsiderate of the management to do that to everyone one else who had bought tickets. read more

I came to watch aquaman here when it first came out about a week ago. their popcorn has to be the worst, i mean i've only been there 3 times and all 3 times i've gotten stale popcorn. don't ask for butter either, it's basically just some sort of oil. basically what i'm trying to say.. if you come here to watch a movie, bring your own popcorn. read more

I think Regal is great, it's a clean friendly atmosphere to watch a good flick. Two major drawbacks. Prices are a bit outrageous, and the movie selection leaves something to be desired. I'm not sure if its because of the area we live in, but sometimes they fall asleep at the wheel on bringing in some quality movies. Of course they'll have your blockbusters but every once in a while they miss (Hurt Locker anyone?) read more

This review is not necessarily about the theater itself in regards to ticket prices and food prices, etc. We all know we are going to get bent over on the ticket and food prices, but it's all about the experience. Anyway, on to the reason for my review; I went into Regal 16 Salisbury with my wife on Christmas Eve to purchase a gift card for my in-laws. I asked for a $25 Gift Card at first but then changed my order to a $20 card. The cashier attempted to rectify the issue by giving me a $20 gift card along with $5 cash. At the time I felt this was a sufficient exchange (I figured he had already charged my credit card for $25) but when I balanced my checkbook two days later I realized I was charged for $25 AND $20. No biggie I figured, I'll just got to the theater to handle it. The manager on duty that day (his name escapes me) was as helpful as possible and informed me that I would have to contact Regal Corporate Customer Service and he also confirmed that he saw where my card was charged twice within a minute and a half that day. I contacted customer service and had a less than pleasurable experience with the lady on the phone. She just did not seem to understand my dilemma even after explaining it several times. After placing me on hold several times she finally took my number and told me someone would get back with me. Later that day I received a call from Zach, the manager at Regal in Salisbury and he was very helpful. I told him what happened and he promised to get back with me later on. He called back a few hours later and apologized for the delay. He told me my credit card would be refunded for the amount missing and in addition to that he gave me two complimentary passes for my troubles.! You just don;t experience this anymore it seems. This young man's dedication to customer service was above and beyond the norm and I feel he is an asset to his employer. Well done and thank you again! -Dan Rinaldi Salisbury, MD read more

I saw SOLO in 2D on Memorial Day weekend. I must have been in a theatre that rotates between 3D and 2D projection without changing the lenses, because the picture was VERY DARK throughout the run time. I hate it when theatres do this. My enjoyment of the picture was significantly lessened because I KNOW that Ron Howard and his cinematographer didn't shoot the picture as dark as I saw it. Very irritating at movie ticket prices, and a reason to stay home and wait for streaming or BluRay in the future. read more

Can they make any louder in here? There's only 16 people in the entire theater. I'm at the first showing of the day on a Sunday, watching Tomorrowland.
